happy new year everyone! 🎉🎉 this update and the next handful of updates were all technically made on december 31st, but i will be dating them as they are published, hence why these covers are technically my first ones of 2025.

i'm not really sure how i feel having spent the last day of the year basically watching tv and making graphics non-stop 😓😓 not that i was unhappy to do these (or anyone's!) just that i'm used to a more highkey NYE and holidays-time in general. but as many of you know i have been quite unwell, so i'm trying not to be too hard on myself. besides, since i have so much spare time, why not do what i love? fucking around on photoshop? 🤣

i did leave the house for the first time in a long time yesterday to get some coffee with my best friend, which was nice. we then did our annual friend-mas and hung out with my family. so it's not like i'm totally alone (i am also with my family right now) but i don't know. it's difficult seeing all my other friends and acquaintances live their best lives and go travelling, hang out, et cetera. i know things will be easier soon, but still! hopefully i'm not the only one who feels this way.

besides, as i always say, the only way out is through. i hope you guys are happy with the year just past; if not, that's okay! it's over and that's what matters. we move. no matter what you did or didn't achieve in 2024, you're still here and i'm so, so proud of you!

star-rant 🌟 over. ana, here are your covers for AETERNITAS and WHISPERS OF HER. since i'm currently methodically moving through every single request, i decided to fulfil both of yours 🫂 i went about these covers with a softer touch than usual, and aimed for them to be at least somewhat coordinated.

i haven't seen wicked (2024) yet since i went on leave around the same time that it was released in theatres, but i have always been a massive fan of the musical (and even saw a national production a few years ago!). i made the AETERNITAS cover in particular very light and "delicate" (???) to match glinda's vibe. i also loved working with your faceclaims; phoebe and jonathan are so photogenic and they have SO many resources. #BridgertonForever

i haven't seen season 2 of arcane yet either LOL which i do not have an excuse for 😁😁 regardless, i hope you like the cover i made for WHISPERS OF HER. the girl on the cover is meant to be jinx 💙💜🩷 like i said previously, i wanted the covers to match so they also have very similar colourings. both have an alternate version which match each other as well. though i think it's all similar enough that you can mix-and-match as you please!
