hiiii everybody 👋 and hi aurora! thank you for requesting from my new lotto, it was so lovely to see your form put through 🤍 i've made you a handful of covers for your dc fic, INNER DEMONS.

covers i and ii have the same "base" image. i love elektra natchios and i love bruce wayne, so although i really enjoyed looking through the many pieces of art they're featured in, it was actually quite overwhelming due to the characters' popularity. that's both a good thing—lots of room to work!—but a bad thing... like i said, it was a little overwhelming. in general i tried to use more modern art of both characters. these covers use art by the beloved dan mora and marco checchetto. they are relatively simple with an emphatic use of negative space. i wanted to lean into the visual language of the batman (2022) dir. by matt reeves. (today they announced that the sequel has been pushed back to 2027. we should all just kill ourselves 😀)

anyways! aurora, your preferred colours were red and black (SUICIDE POSTPONED❗️) which, despite being my favourite to work with and basically my bread and butter, was a little hard to determine what exact shade of red i used. all the alt. versions of your covers aren't that different from each other; they're just different shades of red.

cover iii. was inspired by art i've seen of negative man in marvel, as well as his portrayal in insomniac's spider-man (2018), which... is a bit random, i know, but i really liked the concept of it in line with the title, INNER DEMONS. again, the alt. versions are just a different colouring or balance between black, white, and red.

you'll notice i've also included a textless version, which is designed to emulate the look of dc comics' covers as they appear online and in-store. it's not really something i do for marvel covers and to be honest they don't function well as an actual cover on wattpad. but i thought i'd include them in this delivery because they're fun!
