sorry for the spam of updates over the past couple of days guys! i'm trying to get my sleep schedule back in order but it's not really working lol so i'm awake at weird times with not a lot of energy to write; so instead i'm #LockingIn with photoshop. this lotto update is for jo and her teen wolf / stiles stilinski story, LOVE, DESPITE.

you guys already know i love to work with red 😁😁 and you might not know this but i also love stiles. i mean, who doesn't (white boy of the century, dylan o'brien you will always be loved by me) but, jokes aside, i haven't had a chance to make many tw covers so i was excited to work on this one!

cover i. is pretty simple, and my first attempt. even after like five years of making covers on this app i'm still a little intimidated by the "manip" style, so i didn't want to go too over-the-top with the cover after i snuck stiles into a still of your oc's faceclaim in locke and key. i used the font im fell dw pica for the subtitling as i saw in your story itself you'd used it for interior graphics. i'm aware this cover is really basic but i really like it (/gen); though i totally understand *understated* isn't everyone's vibe when it comes to covers!

cover ii. was my attempt to go a bit abstract with things and take more inspiration from the show (which was my shit a few years back; i need to rewatch asap!). i liked the vibe of cover i and wanted some consistency between the covers so i kept your oc and stiles with that red, "bloodwash"-like colouring and imposed them over a still of the beacon hills woods from the show. then added some texture for an even more "bloody" look. i did try to incorporate actual wolves in these covers but it didn't really work out in a way i was happy with, sorry!

cover iii. is probably my favourite. i don't know if your fic will deal with void!stiles or anything, and i don't even know if this lowkey "dark romance" type cover fits LOVE, DESPITE. regardless, i really enjoyed making this one. i switched up the title and subtitle treatments for a more animalistic look. for all three covers, i tried not to do too much with the titles in terms of special effects and so on, just because i've found that stark white (or black) is a lot more effective with the amounts of red used.
