so as you can tell by the egregious amount of red in the covers above, this request was very much back in my comfort zone 😭❤️ this update is for jada, and their the walking dead fic, BADLANDS. i have never seen this show even though i love love love zombie and post-apocalypse media; in like, 2016 or 2017 (?) (when i was like, 13) someone in my class showed me a video of glen rhee's head getting bashed in 💀 i used to be super squeamish and it lowkey traumatised me so i never ended up watching the show, even years later. sorry if that's spoilers 😭 the season's been out for nearly a decade and like. as far as i'm aware it was a pop culture moment, so...

          anyways 😓😓 i love the vibes regardless and i really enjoyed making these covers. they might actually be my favourite covers i've made so far ‼️ i initially intended to make alt. versions of the black-heavy cover you can see above, but... my photoshop workflow is actually super cooked and i saved over the .psd file for that cover. it is GONE 😭 that's the first time i've made an error like that in like 2 years and i'm soo annoyed. i don't know if there's a way to recover the file but honestly i'm really happy with everything otherwise so. #MovingOn.

i went for like, an x-ray effect? i don't know if that makes any sense and i don't know how i'd replicate it in the future—but i pride myself on my non-"traditional" manip covers and by god i did manip the fuck out of this cover!
