i have a lot of updates drafted and ready to go; this is the first! ninou, here are your covers for TU'BURNI! i've been mentally preheating these covers for a few days, ever since you submitted your request form. i love both the batman (2022) and inej ghafa (and all inej ghafa-inspired characters!) so this truly was a match made in heaven.

for both these covers i wanted to keep the overall design simple, both in colour and composition. so both cover i. and cover ii. are black, white, and red, and don't have a lot of what i'd call "busyness". i used a very intricate, petite font for the title, so i didn't want anything else in the cover to be too distracting. since the title is bigger on cover i. i felt i could make the cover a little more complex; so i added a knife to honour the specifics of your request!

i made both covers with a muted colour palette, but also with an intense one if that's more of what you were after. i will link them all in an in-line comment here.
