welcome back to RUSSIAN DOLL, aurora! again! (again, again, again. i'll never get sick of saying it!) 🖤🖤 thank you for your patience in waiting for your cover for DEATH DISCO. i've never made an ak!jason-centric comic cover before and the resources are pretty limited; so are viper and madame masque's, the two comic faceclaims i was provided for for your oc. when things get tricky like this, i usually choose the niche-r faceclaim as the foundation (in this case, it was pretty close, but it ended up being jason) and move forward from there.

          there's not as much purple in this cover as i'd like, but i think it serves well as an accent for the blue, black and yellow that dominates this cover. the main version is my favourite, since i prefer the cooler yellow, but there's a warmer, pink-er version if you'd prefer that.

aurora is one of those people that i will always enjoy making covers for, but with that already a given, i had a lot of fun with this one. how could i not, when jason todd, mother of my children (yes, i said mother, you heard it here first, user bayports figured out how to get a man pregnant) is involved? especially ak!jason. especially ak!jason portrayed by manny jacinto, aurora's INSANE but ⭐️ perfect ⭐️ faceclaim for him. i can't stop thinking about him. both manny and jason. i need them both so bad.

it's been a running joke between me and my friends recently that i'm obsessed with blond, white men, but readers, do know: i will never not choose a gorgeous brunet man with big, brown eyes like a baby cow. yes, jason has almost always been portrayed with green or blue eyes (in the webcomic, yes, brown, but i don't want to talk about how cooked the storyline ended up being) but i don't care! brown-eyed jason forever!
