*3 Months Later*

The Tour was almost finished with only 3 more shows to go. Cody's time with the Cherry Bombs was coming to an end as he had a debut album with 13 songs he wrote himself along with his band members, who are named Isaiah Hobbs (lead guitar), Josh Hughes (drums/percussion), Avery Marcus (Bass), and Collin Kramer (Rythem Guitar). Alicia and the aunts were all supportive of Cody as much as they were except Josette who was still pretty mad at Cody for even thinking of leaving the Cherry Bombs and even moving into a new home with Taylor since the couple were getting married. Cody had already finished his training before the show tonight when he texted Taylor and she sent another photo of herself.

Cody sent one back as Taylor was currently finishing her tour as well in Spain and was going to meet Cody back in Nevada to look at houses. Cody then sent a picture of his muscular body and ever growing collection of tattoos.

Wifey 🖤: Sexy 🖤 Can't wait to marry you in a couple months 😍💕

Me: Can't call you my wifey soon enough 🖤 Still pretty bummed that my time with my mom and aunts are coming to an end 😢💔

Wifey 🖤: Any word from Josie lately?

Me: She's been pretty mad at me since I brought it up. She won't talk to me and whenever I try to talk to her, she gives me an attitude about it.

Wifey 🖤: Damn. Hopefully you two can patch things up. She's eventually gonna have to accept it.

Me: Yeah. I can't wait to see you again when we get back to the states and look at the houses 😁

Wifey 🖤: Me neither 😎 Talk to you later, gotta go do this interview. Love you 😍🥰

Me: Love you too 😘🖤

Cody smiled at Taylor's texts until he felt a hand on his shoulder and turnt to see his beautiful mother.

Alicia: Josie just texted me. She's ready when you are.

Cody: I really don't want her to hate me. All I'm doing is expanding my career choices and trying new things.

Alicia: All her feelings show how much she loves you being with us. I don't know what's gonna happen, but it's best if me or the others don't get involved between you two.

Cody: Actually.... I don't know if I feel comfortable going in alone. Can you come with me?

Alicia saw the fear in Cody's eyes when she put a hand on his shoulder.

Alicia: Of course. It may be a good idea to have someone watch you two in case things get real hairy.

Cody: Thanks mom.

Alicia smiled at Cody and kissed his cheek before the mom and son left the gym and headed back to their hotel to shower before going to meet with Josette.

*Later*

Cody and Alicia sat at a small local café in Manchester where they waited for Josette until she showed up still bitter about Cody.

Josette: Alright, let's just talk about what's gonna happen and how ungrateful Cody is.

Alicia: Josie, be nice. He's just looking for something new and you know that.

Cody: Trust me, everyone else is supportive of what I'm doing. I'll always be a Cherry Bomb at heart, but it's obvious I don't want to do this forever. I still love you Josie and mom and all the girls in this dance group, but it's time I show the world what I've got.

Josette: That still shows how much we love you, but to me it's a slap to the face on what you're gonna do.

Josette then stood up and was about to walk away until Cody got up a little angry.

Cody: Josie! I don't know what has gotten into you, but whatever it is you need to stop!

Josette then did the unthinkable when she started to walk away and Cody put his hand on her shoulder and she suddenly slapped Cody so hard it left him in shock.

Cody held his cheek in shock as Josette realized what she did and Alicia was shocked on what Josette did.

Cody: You..... you... struck me.

Josette: Cody...... oh my god I'm so sorry.

Cody held his face and stormed off and away from Josette and passed Alicia as he went back to their hotel while Alicia dealt with Josette. Back at the hotel, Cody took a vase in the room and chucked it at the door as it hit the door and burst as glass went everywhere until he trashed everything in the hotel room until he ran out of breath and began to break down. Cody then picked up his song book and took out a lighter until Corey came in and lunged at Cody to stop him as Cidy was about to burn his song book.

Corey: CODY DON'T! STOP IT CODY STOP!

Corey then got his song book and the lighter away from him to keep him from burning it until Cody heard Alicia and Josette come in who were arguing and fighting until they were about to assault each other as Corey had to break it up.

Josette: You know he won't be the same! I just know that he'll change. Look what he did to the room!

Alicia: You know him well enough that he'll never change! He's just looking to do something new with his skills!

Corey: That's enough!

Josette: His skills are very much loved here! He shouldn't just leave us all willy-nilly and forget about us!

Alicia: You're the only one that's making it harder on him!

Corey: I SAID THAT'S ENOUGH!

The shouting stopped Alicia and Josette from fighting, but it was enough to scare Cody that he covered his ears as he curled up into a ball when he started to lightly shake until Corey, Alicia, and Josette noticed.

Josette: Cody....

Alicia: Don't. He doesn't need anymore trauma. Leave Josie. Whenever you're ready, you two will have to start this talk over again. For now, please leave.

Josette was about to protest, but she left the room and Corey volunteered to go talk to her when Alicia looked at Cody and he looked back at her where she gave a comforting smile and sat on the bed and patted her lap for Cody to rest his head on after she grabbed a pillow. Cody was still shaking when he went over to her and he layed his head on the pillow and she lightly rubbed Cody's head and hair and he slowly calmed down.

Alicia: Shhhh.... it's alright Cody. It's alright. I've got you. It's all ok.

Cody: *sniffles* That was just too fucking much! All that situation did was remind me when my real dad struck my real mom right in front of me! Why did Josie do that to me?! I get she's upset, but why?! Fucking why?!

Alicia then layed with him and hugged him tight until Cody cried himself to sleep and she didn't leave his side the whole time.

*An Hour Later*

Alicia was still by Cody's side when Corey came back with Josette after a long talk where she was concerned about Cody.

Alicia: The shouting really traumatized him more. Poor guy couldn't take it that he started shaking and cried himself to sleep. It all made him think of his real parents abusing each other.

Josette walked over and checked on Cody who was still fast asleep and saw that he still had a couple of tears rolling down his face until Josette wiped them with a tissue for him.

Josette: Goddamn it. I didn't want him to think or feel that way at all. I just.... don't want him to leave the Cherry Bombs or our home. Cody's the main source of joy that I have at home. Now that he's marrying Taylor, it all changed when he said he was moving out too.

Alicia: Josie, don't think me and the other girls don't feel the same way. Cody's grown up and he's finding his purpose in the world. We can all tell he's thankful and grateful for everything he's done for us and for the Cherry Bombs. All he needs is your support like everyone else has given him.

Josette then saw Cody slowly start waking up until he opened his eyes before he started tearing up again until Josette hugged onto him and gently rocked him back and forth.

Alicia: We'll leave you to him. We'll see you at the next show.

Alicia and Corey then left the room and headed to the arena in Manchester. Once Josette calmed Cody down, he sat up next to Josette and she held his hands.

Josette: First of all, I'm sorry I slapped you. Second, I'm sorry being such a complete bitch to you for a good portion of this tour. I'm just so sad that you're leaving us soon and that you're marrying Taylor. It's bad enough that Corey and Alicia are getting their own house with Griffin, but it's even sadder that my only nephew is leaving us too.

Josette then started to cry until Cody hugged her.

Cody: Josie...... I know how you feel. I felt the same way after I lost my real mom. I had nobody until you all adopted me from the orphanage. I'm forever grateful that you all adopted me and saved me. I thank mom, Kymmy, Connie, Latisha, Meghan, Katie, and Crystal everyday for it including you Josie. I'm just trying to find my purpose in this world and I just need your support to fully commit to it. I'll never forget you girls ever, but I'm vowing that my roots as a Cherry Bomb are never going away, hell I'm planning of using those roots in a future tour. As your fellow dancer I don't want to leave either, but as my aunt Josie I need you to cope with me and everything that there is to come and enjoy whatever time we have left together.

Josette didn't know how to take it, but she soon came to her senses and hugged onto Cody and he hugged her back as she lightly cried and wiped her tears.

Josette: *sniffles* I'm just sad that the tour is almost over and that you and Taylor are gonna go live your lives. Maybe I just love being one of your aunts so much that I'm sad that you're leaving.

Cody: I know aunt Josie. That's why I'm looking at houses with Taylor that are close by. We'll visit you anytime we can. We'll never forget about you and Alicia and Corey are gonna be close by too. We're not gonna be far away from you at all and you can visit us anytime you all want. I love you aunt Josie and everyone else in the Cherry Bombs.... so much.

Cody and Josette held hands when she kissed his cheek.

Josette: Me too..... just hope that we can collaborate again one day.

Cody: We will...... when my band and I get to the level to where we can do music videos we can have you girls in them.

Josette: I'd like that.

Cody and Josette then stood up and had a little time before the show as Cody decided to take her out to lunch for some aunt and nephew time before they had to go to the next show.
