After a couple of days, Cody, Alicia, and all the other Cherry Bombs were back in Vegas where they attended Aiden's funeral when Cody had to give his eulogy to his bestfriend when he looked out into the gathering of Aiden's friends and family members who were devastated about what happened.

Cody: Good afternoon. Aiden was one of those guys that never took credit for everything he did in his successful life. He left this world in a tragic way thanks to some heartless and cold blooded bastard that he didn't deserve to be killed by. Not only he was a man who thought of others over himself, but he was my best friend.

Cody sniffles a bit while Ella lightly cried as Alina let her rest her head on her shoulder.

Cody: Aiden....... we'll miss you. And we will find who did this to you. For now..... thank you all for showing up today. Friends, family, and others....... thank you.

The funeral finished when everyone gathered outside the church and interacted with each other when Cody found Ella and Alina when Ella ran up to him and hugged him before looking up at him.

Ella: Who could've done this?

Cody: I don't know..... but they're probably investigating the case right now.

Cody was then approached by a couple of officers.

Officer: Cody Harris-Dove?

Cody: Yes, but I'm about to have a bit of a name change though in a few months.

Officer: That being?

Cody: Cody Harris-Taylor.

Officer: I see. Anyway, can you please come with us for a second? We just want to ask you some questions about what happened.

Cody looked at Ella who was with Alicia when she nodded at him and Cody went with the two officers for some questioning about Aiden's murder. Once by the officer's vehicle, the officers started to interview Cody.

Officer: We're just gonna ask you some simple questions about Aiden Fredrick's murder. First of all, where were you the night of the murder?

Cody: I was in Los Angeles, California celebrating my 21st birthday with my mom, dad, brother, aunts, and friends. We went out there mainly because my dad was promoting another album with his band.

Officer: And your relation to Aiden?

Cody: My best friend. We met in an orphanage at a young age. We went to school together and everything too.

Officer: I see. Here, we even have evidence from a security camera that caught the murder on the screen if you can help us identify the murderer?

The other officer had a laptop with the security footage of what happened when it showed someone that Cody recognized all too well when the murder happened.

Cody: No...... oh my god....

Officer: What?

Cody:.......... The murderer was my biological father.......

*Later*

Alicia: You mean what?!

Cody: My real dad killed him! My own biological father killed my bestfriend!!!! The next time I see that mother fucking asshole I'll fucking kill him!

Cody had told Alicia about this, but the police couldn't get a direct search since Cody hadn't seen or known about his real dad's whereabouts since he left Cody at a young age.

Alicia: That son of a bitch..... I don't feel safe in this house after this happening.

Cody: Mom....... it's gonna be OK. We're about to go back on tour and he can't harm us if we're not here. As long as we're gone, he can't find us. He's killed my best friend and I warned Ella and Alina to get away from here too. That's why they're coming with us.

Alicia: Well...... that's not a bad thing.

Cody: What do you mean?

Alicia: This tour would give them a chance to get their minds off of everything that's happening. Plus we could help them out a bit with them making a little extra money.

Cody: Well, they're professional makeup artists so they could do some looks for you and the others on the tour.

Alicia: Yeah. Anyway, we need to finish packing and get ready. We've got some festival in Florida that we're starting out at before we really hit the road.

Cody: And where I can show off my new mad acrobatic stunts that I've been working hard on to show the world to.

Alicia then hugged Cody as she was a little worried about the future.

Alicia: I don't know what's gonna happen with all of this, but let's just take all this madness off our minds and give the people what they came to see at these festivals and get ready to tour again with Corey and the others.

Cody smiled as the mom and son went back to packing for the tour and soon got some shuteye to prepare for the long bus ride to Florida.

*Five Days Later*

Cody just came out of a local tattoo shop, getting his 10th tattoo that he got for Alicia which he kept adding to his growing tattoo sleeve.

Cody then headed back to the hotel that him and all the Cherry Bombs were staying at in Daytona. Once Cody came back, he showed his new tattoo that he added to his sleeve to Alicia and she loved it.

Alicia: Aw... did you get that for me?

Cody: Anything for the best mother I could ask for.

Alicia kissed Cody's cheek until they had to get ready for the show as Cody and Alicia talked with each other as they packed their outfits.

Cody: Hey mom?

Alicia: Yeah?

Cody: I can't wait till you marry Corey.

Alicia: I know. You two seem to really like each other.

Cody: Yeah. It's like we have the same life and all ya know? We both grew up in poverty, did some stuff we weren't proud of, and felt like we didn't belong in this world, but proved it wrong. I'm just happy to finally have that father figure who relates to me.

Alicia smiled and hugged Cody after he said that.

Alicia: I can tell how happy you are about this. I'm sure that you'll find the right girl that'll love you just as much as Ella did. I mean, yeah there was some bad blood, but you worked it out with her. You've come a long way since then.

Cody: Yeah.....

Alicia then looked at the clock on the counter and realized they had to hurry to the gig.

Alicia: Better hurry. Finish packing and let's get going.

Cody: Yes ma'am.

Cody and Alicia then finished packing and headed to the festival.

*At the gig*

Cody laced up his boots and walked out of his dressing room in his outfit where the Cherry Bombs were all in their outfits when Cody joined them and he practiced his sword tricks for the stage until he felt a tap on his shoulder and turnt to see someone familiar to him.

Taylor: Hi. I'm Taylor Momsen. You might know me from The Pretty Reckless?

Cody: Yeah. I've heard some songs from you before. I'm Cody Harris-Dove. Alicia's son.

Meanwhile, Alicia looked over and saw Cody talking with Taylor when Kym leaned over to Alicia.

Kym: Is that Taylor Momsen from Pretty Reckless talking with Cody?

Alicia: Yeah...... That is....

Kym: What do you think about her?

Alicia: She seems nice. I mean, some of her music is a mystery to me, but..... she seems nice.

Cody talked with Taylor for a little bit until he had to go on stage with his mom and aunts.

Cody: I better go on.

Taylor: Can't wait to see what you've got for this show.

Cody: Enjoy it.

Taylor winked at him before Cody went on stage with Alicia and the others when they all put their half masks up and started dancing.

Taylor watched closely at the dances that Cody was doing and kept her eyes on Cody the whole time. During the show, Cody did some sword tricks where he juggled swords.

Cody then tossed them all up in the air one by one which got the crowd nervous for him as he dodged them all and the crowd cheered when they all missed him and he took one and lit it on fire.

Cody and Alicia did dueling fire breathing stunts and Cody spiked the sword into the stage before the mom and son did their pose behind the flame sword.

After the girls all did their aerial and fire stunts and Cody did his guitar solos, it was finally time for Cody to do the wheel of death stunt he had been working on for a couple of years now when he climbed up on it and started running around on it to a song he picked for it.

The final trick came near the end of the song when Cody held onto the bottom of one wheel and it soon launched him up where the crowd got nervous for him again when he went up, but he did a flip forward before he landed on his feet onto the wheel which got the crowd cheering so loud until the girls came out with more aerial and fire stunts as well.

Alicia, Constance, and Josette all then breathed fire when Cody started running on the wheel of death again when the crowd was scared for Cody until he did one final trick on it.

The crowd went wild for that trick until it slowed down and Cody did a pose on the wheel of death before their act ended and all the Cherry Bombs walked on stage and Cody got down from the wheels as Alicia thanked the crowd before they stood together on stage and waved to the crowd before going backstage. Cody hugged Alicia and all of his aunts before he saw Taylor walk up, applauding them.

Taylor: That was incredible! That wheel of death stunt was fucking killer!

Cody: Thank you.

Cody smiled when Taylor unexpectedly hugged him and Alicia stepped forward and extended her hand to shake.

Alicia: Alicia Dove. I'm the lead dancer of the Cherry Bombs and Cody's mom.

Taylor shook her hand.

Taylor: Taylor Momsen. Singer of The Pretty Reckless.

Alicia: Yup. We know who you are. I must say, you've got a beautiful voice.

Taylor: Guilty as charged.

The two women shared a laugh and started talking alongside Cody as they walked to the Cherry Bombs's dressing rooms until Taylor was called to the stage.

Taylor: I better get going. Here, text me sometime Cody and we can hangout if you want whenever we're in the same town on our tours.

Taylor then wrote her phone number and gave it to Cody as he did the same and she hugged him and Alicia before Taylor went to go do her performance with the Pretty Reckless.

Alicia: She's really nice. Do you think it's possible that she has a little crush on you Cody?

Cody: Maybe. I'll see when she's in the same town as us and we'll see what we can do.

Alicia nodded before the mom and son went to change out of their outfits. Once they changed, they went to enjoy themselves at the festival and watch some of the other bands including the Pretty Reckless, Slipknot, and a lot of others while it all helped him forget about his biological father killing his bestfriend for a little while.
