It had been 3 years since Cody had been adopted by Alicia Dove of the Cherry Bombs, an all women dance group. After a few months of living together, Cody became the only male member in the Cherry Bombs and all the girls loved him and his ideas for the show so much they made him a permanent member of the dance group. Today was Cody's 21st birthday as he woke up in a hotel room in Los Angeles, California to someone whispering in his ear.

Alicia: Goodmorning Sweetie. Happy Birthday.

Cody woke up and rubbed his eyes when he sat up to see his mother, Alicia Dove, who looked more beautiful everytime he saw her.

Cody smiled and hugged her before kissing her cheek.

Cody: Thanks mom. Where's Corey?

Cody was mentioning Alicia's now fiancé, Corey Taylor, aka the singer of Slipknot and Stone Sour.

Alicia: He left a little while ago to get ready for today at the show.

Cody: Oh that's right. Today's Slipknot's performance at Jimmy Kimmel. That album is gonna be bitchin I just know it!

Alicia: And today's another special birthday for ya. You're officially legal to drink.

Cody: I don't know about that. I wouldn't feel right drinking around him since Corey doesn't drink much anymore.

Alicia: I'm sure he'll have at least one with ya. I mean, you see me drinking wine every now and then when he's around.

Cody: True. Where are all the aunts?

Alicia: Get ready and I'll go with you downstairs to find them.

Cody smiled and got up as he went into the bathroom, showered, and soon came out wearing some black jeans, his sneakers, and a Slipknot t-shirt along with his Cherry Bombs necklace that Kym and Katie gave him on his 18th birthday. He even styled his hair and sprayed a little cologne on when he saw Alicia holding a blindfold.

Alicia: Ok Cody. You'll need to put this on before we go down. I'll guide you.

Cody took the blindfold before him and Alicia went to the elevator and Cody put the blindfold on as Alicia held his hand and guided him to where she wanted him to go until they stopped somewhere.

Alicia: Ok. You can take it off now.

Cody took off the blindfold and was greeted by a loud......

Cherry Bombs: SURPRISE!

Cody had a wide smile on his face to see that Alicia surprised Cody with his seven aunts that put together a small birthday-like atmosphere for Cody in the breakfast hall of the hotel. His aunts, Kymberly Whitehall, Constance Palmer, Katie Veldhuis, Meghan Cabot, Josette Pimenta, Latisha Martell, and Crystal Campanella all presented a decent sized cake for Cody before they all hugged him and Katie came from behind Cody, put her hands over his eyes, and soon took her hands off and kissed his cheek.

Katie: Happy Birthday Cody!

Kym: We got you a special cake for this year! Wink wink.

Cody was handed the cake and he smelled it as it had a weird, but strong smell to it.

Cody: What kind of cake is that?

Crystal: *giggles* Rum..... but now it's just a cake and I'm drunk. HAHA KIDDING!

All the girls laughed including Cody when he hugged Crystal again.

Cody: Funny. Alright, let's celebrate shall we?

All the girls agreed and sang to him before they let Cody cut the rum cake while Alicia nuzzled up against his side and they all had breakfast with the cake and some mimosas to go with it all. Cody took a bite of his slice of the rum cake and savored it. He didn't expect to like it so much that he grabbed a second piece.

*Later*

Cody and Alicia took their seats which were close to the stage so he could watch his favorite band of all time play along with his soon to be father play their two new songs to promote their new album entitled "We Are Not Your Kind" when he sat with Alicia. Cody then felt a tap on his shoulder and saw his soon to be half brother, Griffin Taylor.

Griffin: Sup brother? Happy Birthday!

Cody: Thanks brother. Can't wait to officially call you my little brother when my mom and your dad get married.

Alicia: That day can't come any faster.

Griffin: Whatever ya say big brother!

Suddenly, the crowd went crazy to see all the members of Slipknot walk out on stage as Cody cheered so loud for them which got Alicia smiling widely to watch her son enjoying the band that saved him.

After the performance, Cody walked with Alicia and Griffin to the backstage area where Corey was waiting for them with his mask still on as he smiled and hugged Cody.

Corey: Happy Birthday Codykins!

Cody: Thanks Core Poor!

Cody and Corey laughed at the nicknames they christened each other with before Corey kissed Alicia. Cody then felt a tap on his shoulder when he turnt to see Mick Thomson with his arms crossed and looking fearsome with his mask on which surprised Cody a bit.

Cody: Don't do that!

Cody laughed when Mick chuckled and patted his back until he saw Shawn "Clown" Crahan run up to him and give him the tightest hug Cody wasn't expecting.

Shawn: What's up man?! Happy Birthday!

Cody: Thanks Shawn! That explains the hugs right?! GAH!

Shawn squeezed Cody in the tightest hug he could give until he let him go to give him some breath as Cody heavily breathed.

Shawn: Too much?

Cody: *breathing* Yeah.

Shawn sheepishly looked away until Corey gave him a chuckle and lightly hit him on his shoulder when all the other members of Slipknot, James Root, Craig Jones, Sid Wilson, Jay Weinberg, Alessandro Venturella, and Tortilla Man (rumored name is Michael Pfaff), also showed up and hung out and talked with Cody until Alicia did Cody the honor of getting a picture with all the members of Slipknot with all their masks on for his birthday.

*Later that Night*

Cody was celebrating at a local night club in Los Angeles with his mom and aunts along with Corey, Griffin, and the guys in Slipknot where Cody had a couple of beers with his soon to be dad. Cody was a little surprised to see Corey having a drink or two, but it was for a special occasion when he had a speech for Cody.

Corey: I just wanna say Happy Birthday to my soon to be son, Cody. I didn't think I'd meet anyone who has the same life as I had growing up. After all the shit we've gone through these last few years with Chris leaving and having Cody join us in our lives. I'm just trying to say that I'm so fucking lucky to have all of you guys in my life and that's just incredible.

Cody: Thanks...... dad.

Corey smiled and hugged him and everyone applauded the two of them when they lightly tapped their beers together for a cheers.

Cody was then presented a cake from the staff at the club when he was sang happy birthday again and had a speech of his own.

Cody: Thank you all for making this birthday a special one! Especially with representations from different "tribes" along with their families that have come out to celebrate this day with me, my mom, my aunts, and my soon-to-be dad and brother. I gotta be honest, I didn't think I was gonna make it to 21, but did I prove society wrong! I just wanna say..... thank you so fucking much. Thank you thank you thank you!

Cody started to get a little emotional when Corey and Alicia hugged him before all his aunts and Griffin hugged him too before the celebration continued into the late hours of the night.

*The Next Morning*

Cody woke up with his head hurting from the most painful headache he could imagine before he got up and went into the bathroom before throwing cold water on his face until he came back out into the hotel room to hear his phone ring when he picked it up and heard a female voice that sounded like she was scared, but also devastated.

Cody: Hello?

Ella: Hey it's Ella.

Cody: What's up?

Ella: I just read your text from yesterday, but I had to call you because something bad happened.

Cody: What?

Ella then told something to Cody that made him feel the world stop.

Ella: Aiden was murdered the other day in Vegas.... They just found his body and the murderer is unknown..................
