Bangchan sat down at his desk, typing up an email lazily as his secretary Im Nayeon read out the schedule she had make for the day. She at some point in her readings noticed he wasn't listening, so she started listing out lunch options for herself, thinking it would catch his attention, but all Bangchan did was continue to nod along despite not paying attention.

Apparently Nayeon gives up trying to get him to listen, so she snaps her fingers close to his face. "Noona?" Bangchan asks, startled. The typing on the keyboard stopped, hands instead held midair as if he was a pup in trouble. "Chan did you even hear a word I've said?" Nayeon asks. She was both a secretary and friend, but in the workplace, she was not one to let it go to her head. This is her job, a very important one that she values, so she's going to make sure she informs him of the days' plans and assist as Bangchan follows the schedule.

Finally paying attention, Bangchan looks at the beta woman in front of him, shaking his head. Annoyed at the indication she'd been talking to air, Nayeon rolls her eyes with a quick laugh. Holding his hand out, Nayeon dutifully sets the papers in his hands. Huffing a bit, she reminds him once more of the schedule by memory as he skims through the papers filled with details and important documents needed. Towards the end of the pile, he feels a small envelope. Taking it out, he sees the names of two employees he's become acquaintances with. He's met them several times through company get togethers, not to mention the two were very vocal about their elation at the merge of the two companies.

Checking the card, it reads the name of his marketing head Minho and his mate Jisung, a freelance designer contracted through JYP. Minho was very good at his job, socializing and making the team better than ever. The man clearly loved his work and always made it a point to get the opinions of his team. Jisung was abet foreign to Bangchan, but he knew from others that he was just like his mate, a bit on the more socially anxious side.

Bangchan looks up to see Nayeon silent, browsing on her phone briefly before turning it around to show him. On the screen is a gorgeous suit, classically black with a dark blue button up shirt underneath, matched with a white tie. He nodded to her and turned back to the invitation. Setting all the papers to the side, he reads his email and sends it, quickly closing it before getting up from his chair, stretching briefly before leaving his office, Nayeon trailing not too far behind.

Stepping into the routine as always, Chan immediately goes through his schedule. There are a few meetings with both investors and employees alike. One meeting stands out as the design team is assisting with a new collaboration with Han Jisung being appointed as team leader by their design management head. Bangchan can see how the man holds himself with pride with the acknowledgement of his skills, beaming as he discusses the upcoming project. It's only halfway through when he's ushered out of the room by Nayeon, quickly giving his approval before the woman struts to the next room he'll be sitting in with.

As Bangchan sits down, he quickly realizes that it's going to be a weird meeting. One of the writers, Seungmin he remembers, is mated to the younger son of JYP Enterprises. The beta is smart, quick witted, and a good guy to everyone. It was extended to Bangchan, but he can clearly sense the man doesn't like his presence. At least Seungmin is conscientious of the workplace and doesn't let his distaste be known to others, aside from the few times he's called Bangchan an old man under his breath.

Despite the initial awkwardness in starting the meeting, everyone quickly finds it to be pleasant, sharing ideas and bouncing topics around. Seungmin lets his finished work be looked over by the team with approval quickly being given to start casting. They call the casting director and the team heads on their way to assist in sharing the vision of the project with the director. With the meetings having been shorter than expected, Nayeon informs him of the time left before the party. Calling a car, Bangchan beams as he sees Kang Daniel pull up to the front.

Bangchan and Daniel had quickly become friends years ago through Daniel's mate, an alpha named Park Jihyo, signed to SKZ entertainment. Daniel, having also grown a career as a singer through SKZ, was pretty popular himself. It wasn't until the two secretly mated that Bangchan actually met the man. "You're not my usual driver," Bangchan says, despite opening the door to sit next to the beta. Nayeon jumps in the back, rolling her eyes and cancelling the company driver with a laugh. "Didn't know you knew how to drive, Kang," Nayeon quips. Daniel laughs at the two, eyes glancing at the rear-view mirror to look at Nayeon. "It's one of my talents, Im," Daniel responds. With that the car is on its way to Bangchan's place.
