The car ride was uneventful, atmosphere almost stilled with a sense of exhaustion coming from Felix in waves. Hyunwoo was snoring next to him, the epitome of a happy pup tired from a trip with his mom. It was moments like these in which gave Felix a sense of fulfillment, happy his youth had not ended with unhappiness, but instead with a bundle of joy and new adventures on his doorstep.

Jeongin, always one to break silence, coughs loudly into his hand and points in Felixs' direction, motioning for Seungmin to start a conversation that will no doubt be either worth their excitement or completely the opposite. Not so impressively sneaky as he probably thinks, Seungmin gave Jeongin a wink, which Jeongin gags at. Felix rolls his eyes affectionately at the two, copying his younger brother by coughing just as loud to get their attention.

Seungmin and Jeongin both snap up to look at Felix before turning to each other, conversing silently with their eyes. Apparently Seungmin gives the go ahead to share because he glances back to the road, focused on driving. Jeongin rapidly turns around with a huge grin. "Minho and Han adopted!" Jeongin shares, beaming at Felix.

This was definitely news worth the suspense. It was no doubt surprising news to Felix, last he'd talked to the two mates they were talking about having children with the help of a surrogate. Trying to conceive with the help of a female beta he had been briefly introduced to years before. She had been an acquaintance in the fashion world, briefly courted by the son of a businessman before breaking it off. To hear the two betas adopted so quickly after announcing their attempts to conceive with a surrogate was something to question later. Instead of focusing on questions, Felix smiles. "I'm so happy for them! They've wanted a pup for so long. Is it a girl like they had hoped?"

Seungmin and Jeongin laugh, loud and genuine with hints of endearment. Seungmin shakes his head, calming down enough to speak between giggles. "Twins, Hyung. Boy and a girl!" Felix himself starts laughing, because of course the two would get the best of both worlds. A boy and a girl pup. Felix stills, looking at his own pup. Hyunwoo is still asleep, pushed up into his mamas side, trying to keep as much warmth as Felix can provide.

It's a sight that makes Felix smile, turning back to look at the now arguing mates in the front. He giggles, looking out the window to see the trees go by just as they pull forwards to a small house just outside of town.

Coming to a stop, Seungmin and Jeongin are the first out, already pulling out the luggage while Felix begins to carry the small pup inside to let him sleep in his own bed, whisper-yelling his thanks to the two younger mates. Settling his pup in bed, Felix tucks Hyunwoo in, brushing a stray strand of hair aside. His precious pup stirs but doesn't wake, too tired to even make a noise. Felix knows that his exhaustion won't last forever, so while his pup is sleeping, Felix starts to clean the house up, getting it ready for the upcoming week. The two younger men kept the house clean, but after living with Felix for so long, the division of chores had them forgetting to handle tasks Felix normally busied himself with.

Walking in first from outside is Seungmin, who attempts to help Felix. Jeongin comes out from his and Seungmins' shared bedroom, jumping in to help the two. It's silent, but peaceful. Reminding Felix exactly why when he first found out he was pregnant, Felix called his brother out of everyone first. The two, despite their chaotic nature, were both very peaceful and tranquil when it was needed, especially in such serious situations.

Reminising about the past wouldn't change it, but Felix always felt better every time he did. He felt strong, accomplished. Getting pregnant was a blessing for him. At first, with the situation Felix was in, he felt helpless. Now, he could only look ahead.

Seungmin nudged Felixs' left elbow, raising an eyebrow at the glazed look his Hyung had. Over the years they knew Felix would space out, but there was a wistful look on his face that disappeared just as quickly as it had been there. Jeongin goes to stand next to the two and smiles at his mate before turning to grin at his brother. "Next week Minho and Han Hyung are going to hold a celebration to welcome their two pups into their family," Jeongin says. Seungmin smiles at Felix, holding up a card, waving it around. "It doesn't just have our names, Hyung. The invitation has got yours too Felix," Seungmin follows, handing the invitation to Felix.
