Thank you God,
For everything you've done,
For being there through my journey,
Which has only just begun.

Thank you for being a friend,
When I have no one there.
You know how cruel some people are,
And how they do not care.

Thank you for being so caring,
For guiding me, hand in hand,
And for helping me get through these times,
That I can't understand.

Thank you for being merciful upon me,
When I know that I was wrong,
Lord, thank you for being my strength,
For making me so strong.

Lord, thank you for loving me,
Even when I don't deserve.
Thank you for allowing me,
To be your child on this Earth.

God, thank you for being you,
And I thank you once more too,
Because every time I stare at myself,
I see a piece of you.
