I woke up, a thin line of drool running down my cheek. Oh well wasn't that a pleasant way to start a Saturday. I wiped off my spit, and combed my fingers through the mess I might have called my hair. I heard the soft snores of my surrounding friends and briefly wondered how early it was.

I walked downstairs, and I quickly realized nobody else was awake. Great. Now I had three options. One, go back to sleep, which was unlikely since I had already woken myself up. Two, wake someone else up, to get the time, but possibly face their raft of being woken up at two in the morning. Or three, do what I normally did on Saturday morning and go running.

I suddenly had a sneaking suspicion on why I had woken up so early. Silently unlocking the front door, I walked, barefoot, across the dew covered lawn. It was still cool outside, hinting it was still dark. Although I could hear birds starting to sing their morning melodies, so I figured it was dawn.

"Jaxon, I swear if you woke me up--" I started to threaten, only it was cut off by laughter.

"Morning to you too Raindrop." His familiar voice responded. Oh that was Jaxon alright.

I yawned, feeling exhausted from staying up late with my friends, only to be woken early by Jaxon. "Do we have to go jogging this morning?" I grumbled, tiredly.

"No, so long as you don't mind getting lazy." He told me.

"I can live with that." I said, then walked to the front of the lawn and sat on the sidewalk. I heard Jaxon follow me, and I rested my head on his shoulder.

"You know you're adorable when you're tired." He said, putting his head on top of mine. Normally I might have blushed at such a comment, but instead I just yawned once more, and just enjoyed being close to him. A cool wind blew and i heard leaves rustle, a few even falling on me.

"What's it look like today?" I asked, closing my eyes, wanting to imagine it.

"Most of the sky is still painted a dark blue, although the first rays of sunlight are beginning to peak out. A few rebellious stars are still shining, even though it's almost dawn. Now the leaves are starting to become a cascade of yellows, oranges and reds. Autumn is going to be here soon." Jaxon said, and I could imagine him looking around... Only what did he look like?

So I did the one thing I'd never done since the Accident. I asked him that. "Jaxon, what do you look like?" I blurted out, before I could stop myself.

Jaxon didn't say anything for a moment, before I finally heard him sigh. "It's a surprise." He said, then got up and left, leaving me alone on the sidewalk, in the cold autumn breeze.

I went back inside shortly after Jaxon left, trying to wrap my mind around what had just happened. What had just happened? Was Jaxon worried I was going to judge him, based on his looks? Well maybe. He had said most people did, and I, the blind girl, was the only one who hadn't.

In my mind his face kept changing. He was a burnet, a red head, a blond. His features changed, and his eye color alternated. I was so curious I just had to know. I could ask one of my friends to tell me, but somehow, I felt like it had to come from him.

I sighed and went back to picturing him the way I always did. A black silhouette of a teen. That's the way I imagined everyone I didn't know what they looked like. Only I didn't want this black silhouette to be the guy I liked. For the first time since the accident, I wanted to see someone in screaming color.

And wrap that up and give it to a child for Christmas, cause I finally did it! I wrote chapter 16!! Aren't you beans proud of me? I'm soooooooooooooooo sorry for making you guys wait like a month for this chapter, but it's finally here! Also I just want to say thank you for bothering to read this part after me being gone so long.
