Samanthas pov

"GET DOWN THESE STAIRS RIGHT NOW SAMANTHA!" My Father shouted up the stairs.
"NO! I CAN MAKE MY OWN LIFE DECISIONS!" I screamed back.

We were having another argument about me being bi. Why couldn't he just accept that I'm bi? Why does he have to be so homophobic?

"I'M COMING UP!" He shouted.

I ran into my bedroom knowing what was next and pushed my chest of drawers in front of the door just in time. My dad was going to whack me if I hadn't have done that.

I spoke too early. The chest of drawers crashed to the other end of the room as my dad barged through the door looking purple in the face.

I ran and grabbed my backpack from under the bed, that was already packed full of things I needed to run away, and jumped out the window. My house was quite low down so I didn't hurt myself.
I sprinted down the road to my best friend Abi's house.

Abi was already outside her house waiting for me.

"Hi Abi!" I said out of breath "Have you got everything?"

"Yeah, how much money have you got?" She said grinning "I've got $60."

"I've got $20" I said looking shocked and then asked "How the hell did you get that much?!"

"I stole it off my mom!" she said "She was too drunk to notice!"

"And I've got the car ready!" She said her grin turning even larger.

"YOU'RE GOING TO STEAL YOUR MOM'S CAR?!" I said being careful to keep quiet.

"Yeah, jump in" Abi said getting in the car.

I followed after her and she started the car.

We drove off down the road, not caring that her mother was passed out on the driveway.

"Where are we going to go?" I asked Abi.

"I don't know." She said.
