(Vector's POV)

                     You know who I am, right?! I am the Great Detective Vector! I run the Chaotix Detective Agency and help anyone who needs it! I also help out Sonic and Knuckles whenever they need it. After all, evil never rests in our world. So, what does my group do? We solve crimes and protect others who needs it!

"Vector! Do we have work?" Mighty asked loudly as he entered the house.

"Charmy hasn't come back with the mail yet" I answered as I took a sip from my coffee.

Epsio was sitting with his legs crossed and meditating, and Ray was sitting on the couch, kicking his feet back and forth. Man, we really need to do something. Maybe we should just go around town.

"I don't know about this" a young girl said nervously.

"They're the best! They can handle it!" another annoying brat said in full confidence.

Who's coming to the house? The door burst open to revel Charmy, Miku, Rin, and her annoying twin brother. Well, this outta be good.

"We have work!" Charmy exclaimed in delight.

"What kind of work?" I asked hesitantly.

Len cleared his throat as he dropped a bag of golden rings!

I quickly took the bag as I asked, "What do you need?!"

Len just put his hands on his hips as he nodded his head at the two girls. Rin just smiled while Miku sighed.

"We've had an issue with our stage. Can you please check it out?" she asked politely.

"Sure!" I said excitedly as I stood up from my desk.

Mighty just sighed as Espio face palmed. We went to the concert hall in Central City and looked around. We didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

"Miku! Len! Rin! Are you back?!" Meiko shouted in a panic as she rushed out from behind the curtains of the stage.

She looked very panicked.

"Oh, you brought help! Thanks! Come with me! He's turning red!" she shouted in a panic as she rushed backstage.

Who was turning red? Shadow? We walked backstage to find a very unusual site. Kaito's leg was tied up by a rope and dangled him above us.

"So, how did this happen?" I asked as Charmy burst out laughing.

Espio and Mighty rushed to help him.

"We don't know. We were preparing for a concert in two days when we heard him scream. We didn't even have the rope there!" Meiko reported as Epsio threw a shuriken at the rope.

Kaito let out a scream as he landed in Mighty's arms safety. Mighty carefully placed Kaito on the ground while I looked at the rope. It doesn't look like the rope would normally be there.

"Hey, who usually performs from this side of the stage?" I asked as I looked at the area around us.

"Kaito and Miku" Meiko said as she helped Kaito up.

"Chaotix! Spread out!" I shouted as Ray and Charmy flew around, "Mighty watch over them"

I walked to the dressing room areas to see if I could gather any clues. I saw Luka and Teto working on some clothes while Gakupo was modeling the outfits. He actually looked pretty fancy in that tuxedo.

"Hello Vector!" Teto said as she waved her hand in delight.

"Hi. Is everything ok here? Nothing unusual?" I asked them concerned.

"Not with the costumes at least" Luka said as she adjusted her glasses and continued to work on the piece of clothing.

"In fact, nothing bad has happened to us. If anything, something bad always happens near Kaito" Gakupo said calmly as he adjusted his arms in the suite.

We heard someone screaming though, none of them were that concerned. I rushed to a sound booth to find Gumi laughing, a scared Haku, and Neru screaming into the microphone.

"What are you doing?" I asked them.

Gumi stopped laughing as she turned her head towards me, "I was just testing the mic. I just didn't expect Neru to scream like that. Though, this did give me an idea for a song"

I just sighed at them, but I felt bad for Haku. She looks so scared. I closed the door and walked around the stage. I didn't see anyone else here, but what I can gather is that someone either really doesn't like Kaito. I actually don't think it is him they don't like.

"Miku" I asked politely as I approached her, "Have you had some trouble with anyone recently?"

"I don't have any enemies if that is what you're asking. At least I don't think I have any. I could be wrong though. Social media is a bit intense though. You could check that" she said calmly as she took out her phone.

She unlocked it, so I could check the comments. I didn't really find anything bad on her profile. Maybe it was just some random stage flaw. I handed her phone back and went to gather my team. That is until Len pushed Miku away from an incoming ceiling light! She let out a yelp when the light hit the ground hard.

"Are you ok?" I asked as I rushed towards her.

"I think someone is out to get me!" she cried out in fear.

I patted her head as I pondered on this. The rope could only give her a slow and painful death while the light could've instantly killed her. I looked up, but there was no one there.

"Vector! We found something!" Charmy shouted in a panic as he flew towards me.

"What is it?" I asked as Charmy pulled me towards a scene.

I didn't expect this though. I saw a bunch of dangerous traps and plans to destroy this place! Ok, this is officially an investigation! For the next two days, I was at the theater while my team was patrolling the place. We asked Miku and her friends to remain at a hotel room until we can figure out why this is happening. However, someone quickly jumped forward and tackled me to the ground and punched Charmy to the ground! The someone ran out of the room and tried to escape!

"Espio! We've got a runner!" I shouted loudly.

"I'm on it!" Espio shouted as he appeared in front of me in a cloud of smoke.

He ran after the person as he drew shurikens out. He threw them at the someone, but this someone was quick! As Espio threw his shurikens at the someone, the shurikens struck the walls and curtains!

"Hey! We had to pay a lot of money for that! That wasn't cheap!" Kaito shouted with concern as he saw the shurkiens damage the curtains.

"Sorry! I won't do that!" Espio shouted as he decided to try and grab the someone's hand.

However, Espio wasn't paying attention and hit the wall as the someone escaped through an air duck. I caught up to Espio and saw the whole thing. I finally understood who did this and what is going on!

"I've got it!" I said with the snap of my fingers.

"What is it?" Espio asked as he returned to me.

"We need Miku to perform on stage. Once she's on stage, we can keep an eye on her" I said in determination.

Espio wasn't so sure about this, but that is why he is still learning about being a detective. He doesn't know everything about being one. I took the playbook and read it a few times over.

"She and her friends will be safe. I promise" I reassured him as I left the stage.

I gathered my crew and gave them orders. We only allowed those twins, Luka, and Gumi to be with us. Mighty and Ray prepared the stage while Len and Gumi worked on the music stand. Luka was helping Miku while Rin was with Charmy and Ray looking over a few music sheets. Ok, now, let's get an audience. After the audience was gathered, Miku was wearing her cherry blossom theme outfit. My team was walking around the entire stage and keeping watch. Luka was with my backstage.

"Are you sure about this?" Luka asked as she looked at Miku.

"She'll be fine" I reassured her as I watched Miku perform.

Everyone loves her. She's performing with her full heart. I may not understand why anyone would want to hurt her, but right now, I've got to do my job. She twirled around as the lights shined. I noticed that one of lights was shaking. That's right! Keep messing with one of the lights! I ran to the stage and began to dance behind her. Miku just smiled as I joined in. I took her hand and noticed the light was shaking a bit. Alright, here we go. I twirled her away as the light was falling towards us. I drew my fist back and punched the light. The light shattered and sparkled. The crowd cheered in delight as the light fell down. Miku just gasped as Ray and Charmy flew to the ceiling and grab someone.

"Thank you everyone! That's all for tonight!" Luka shouted as she took the microphone from Miku.

Len and Rin quickly pulled the curtains down as Mighty and Espio helped the audience leave safety. The twins ran as Charmy and Ray landed on the ground with the mysterious attacker. I knew it! It was just who I thought it was. Fiona the fox!

"Ugh! How did you figure it out?!" she shouted annoyed.

"First off, no one makes this kind of complicated plans unless you are Tails or Jay from Ninjago. Second thing that gave it away was how you aimed to kill her. The last thing that gave you away was how quick you were. You were almost as fast as Espio when he tried to catch you. You just planned your escape and left before he could catch you. Tactful, quick, and straight to the point. You and Scourge are the only ones who would attempt this just to get back at Sonic" I explained as I showed her the notebook.

She just looked stunned.

"Zonic, I found her" I said with a grin as the zone gate open.

"Thank you, Vector. Your Chaotiz Detective Agency is a great help to us" Zonic said as he motioned for Ray and Charmy to come with him.

I threw the notebook to Espio. He jumped in the air and caught it. He then placed a shuriken on it and tossed it into the air. He exploded the notebook. The notebook appeared to make it look like fireworks.

"I thought the audience would like to see a few fireworks" he said simply.

I just let out a laugh as Miku approached me with another bag of golden rings.

"Thank you, Detective Vector. Now I should be able to perform without worrying anymore!" she said in delight as I took the bag.

I'll count the money later. I was just happy to help such a nice girl in the end. She smiled brightly as I put the bag down. She gave me a warm hug as the rest of our friends just smiled. Yeah, this is what it means to be a part of the Chaotix Detective Agency. Helping others and making our world a safer place, we are Team Chaotix.
