Chapter Two
I said I would post chapter 2 on the 26 but decided to go ahead and do it now since I mostly enjoy posting on weekends.
.....
The big van arrived at the facility first before they planned on going any further. The buyer had his men open up the back doors to their truck to see how their prize gargoyle was doing. They saw that he was out cold from the gas they had sprayed in there to knock him out to make him easier to transport and handle.
"Check him over, Doctor." The buyer ordered.
The doctor that was among them did a quick check over on Brooklyn's vitals. He just wanted to make sure he was healthy enough for the flight ahead out west to their real holding facility.
"He seems fine to me." The doctor stated when he had finished listening to Brooklyn's heart and lungs.
"Are you gonna name the devil, Boss?" One of the men asked.
"Yes. But that's not important now. I just want to make sure that we get him to my facility first, then we'll make sure to give him exactly what he deserves." The buyer smirked evilly under his mask. "But in case he wakes up before we get there, I want this monster muzzled and cuffed down."
A gurney was brought forward, and Brooklyn was taken out of the truck and laid upon the gurney, where there were metal cuffs on it. The red gargoyle was laid on it and his arms, legs, tail, and wings were all tied down. He was strapped down on his back. The humans wanted to see the look on the gargoyle's face if they ever had to hit or hurt him.
Then the buyer ordered, "Put a muzzle on his face. I don't want him talking to us or biting. I want all his defenses down so we can have some fun with him when we get there."
The men took some measurements of Brook's head and face first and then put a metal cuff on his mouth for now until they could get a real muzzle made for him. He also wanted him blindfolded for the trip too. A handkerchief was used to tie over his eyes and tied underneath his chin but making sure his nose was left out to the air so he could breathe. The boss man was satisfied with that for now.
The boss was also wanting to solve another dilemma; that he didn't want the monster to heal from injuries that he should receive from them. He also wanted to take the gargoyle's ability to turn to stone during the day so he could inflict pain on him whenever he wanted. He had studied the elements of gargoyle stone skin and he had the perfect serum for him, but he wanted to wait to give it to him.
All the cuffs that held Brooklyn down were all tough metal, like the gurney. He wouldn't be able to break out of them. Not even his stone skin could shatter them.
Now that Brooklyn was all tied down and checked over, he was ready for transportation to his new 'home.' The gurney was placed back in the van and the men all climbed in and the driver all took them to the nearest airport.
...
The expenses had been paid for the flight out west. The buyer had his own personal airplane that would be a first-class kind. Him and his team of men would take Brooklyn far away from his clan.
"I want a muzzle ready for him by the time we arrive!" The boss man ordered.
There were some leather products they planned to use on Brook, just for the muzzle. Brooklyn didn't realize that soon he would be given some cruel name by his buyer. The pilot was at the controls ready to take off. It would be a 4 hour nonstop flight to the state, which pleased the buyer while sitting with his merchandise. They had placed him on the plane while still cuffed and muzzled on the gurney.
The man grinned under his hood, feeling his precious item's skin, and tugging the wings, while the plane started up the engines. He may turn to stone but thanks to the cuffs, his item won't have any chance of breaking out of them.
Brook gave a soft moan in his slumber, his buyer chuckling sinisterly, especially at the cuff on his beak. He really was quite a beauty; a beauty to be broken, and the man looked forward to it. Heck, he may even take away the beast's covering too.
They had reached a good height in the sky, the sun coming up then. The buyer gazed at Brooklyn, watching the skin covering him up, even his loincloth. But the handkerchief didn't turn. The boss knew then that he would have to remove it before the stone shattered it, but then put it back on and put his toy to sleep again when driving to his facility; a special mansion he had been able to buy.
The buyer smiled when seeing the stone skin. It fascinated him but looked forward to seeing his merch suffer without it soon. He petted the skin which felt like real rock.
"Soon, little devil. Soon you will be home with me. Your clan won't even think to look for you way out here..." he sneered heartlessly.
....
It was about nearly sunset when the plane landed in the Montana airport. The thugs came to get ready to hold Brooklyn in case the stone took away the effects of the sleeping gas, which it did. Brooklyn awoke, trying to roar but a cuff held his beak shut.
His eyes panicked, not recognizing anything. Brooklyn trembled in fear from these strange humans before a cloth was wrapped snugly around his eyes like before, and a sharp sting in his skin from the doctor. Brook flinched, but then the drug made him slip into slumber again, head falling against the metal gurney. It would keep him out until they reached the buyer's home. The thugs panted.
"That beast sure is a fighter, can't wait to take that out of him!" mocked one, holding up Brooklyn's head then letting it fall. The buyer nodded. "It will all come to pass, just be patient. Have a name in mind for him too once we arrive at our headquarters!"
The thugs all looked at one another with evil grins on their faces when wheeling Brooklyn out of the airplane to the waiting black van nearby. The boss opened the back, pointing and directing his prize to be placed in right. The doctor and thugs all helped, being able to successfully put Brooklyn inside. The doctor volunteered to ride with their item, and the thugs too. The boss did the driving then, taking the two hour car ride to his mansion home, which had a lab basement for his doctor to run tests.
They finally arrived at the mansion which was rather wealthy looking but not too showy, with one or two thick trees and mountain views, with not many neighboring houses around. The evil men rolled Brooklyn into the mansion and to the lab area after the boss unlocked his door.
The group aligned the gurney upright while the doctor went to work in creating the muzzle, the boss standing near his now prize possession, who was squirming a little in his sleep, a hand on the beast's stomach.
"My friends, what we have before us now is the best thing we'd come into possession of, thanks to the money I have. We shall have fun with this skinny one, won't we?" he jeered. The thugs cheered at this, laughing mockingly at the gargoyle.
The boss then checked on the doctor, who had both the new muzzle and the serum ready. He grinned, taking them both. "Such thanks are in order, my friend. These shall make the item officially mine!" The doctor nodded gleefully.
He went back over to his slumbering item. He gave a small moan in his sleep. Boss ordered the cuff to be taken off his mouth. He next proceeded with placing his item's muzzle on, ensuring it was adjusted well. The muzzle fit perfectly, making Boss grin sadistically. That suits you so much better, Item! He taunted ruthlessly, before going to inject the serum.
The serum was a yellow color, and Boss injected it into his item's neck. The devil whined a little from the needle but didn't wake up, which Boss wanted, imagining the serum doing its work. Now the steps were finished; this little being was now officially his to play with. The Boss stepped back, waiting for him to open his eyes, eager to see what this creature's reaction would be.
