Virgil was lead by the council to a room where two children around his age were waiting for him,maybe around 12 or 13.

The countess spoke up"my prince,may I present to you your personal guards."she gestured to the children,Virgil stifled a laugh"you're leaving kids the same age as me to boss me around?"

One smiled"well,you're our boss it seems."he held out a hand"Remus Griffin,and you're the one and only Prince Virgil?"Virgil scrunched his nose"I prefer Virgil Cathedral,my real name."Remus smirked"I can get behind that."

The other spoke up"Janus Hydra,nice to meet you Virgil."Virgil smiled as the council left them alone"so you're supposed to fight stuff that hurts me?"Remus nodded"it's the best job!"Janus groaned"I'm just here for a couple coins."

Virgil turned"well let's go,I can show you around."the other two followed him.

The group walked into the kitchen and Virgil smirked as he began to float,he hovered over and grabbed a piece of bread before throwing it over his shoulder.

Janus caught the bread and bumped into Remus,Virgil threw another piece as Remus shot in the air and caught it in his mouth.

Janus chuckled and ate his bread,his ginger cat tail wagging behind him.

Remus are his bread and smiled at Virgil,his dyed dark green ears perked up.

Virgil smiled and ate a piece of bread with his new friends"I think I'm gonna get used to you guys."Janus smirked"oh no,affection."he said sarcastically to get shoved by
Remus"shut up,you love us."

Janus nipped teasingly at Remus's ears"watch it you two."Virgil mumbled"oh of course,my prince."they said in sync was a teasing bow"oh come here!"Virgil then chased the two down the halls,thankful that Thomas wasn't the only one to be his real friend.
