siena's pov

despite being exhausted from our trip here, i woke up a little earlier today to take a small walk and look around the area.

i didn't want to wake up jack, because he drove all this way and he at least deserves some rest.

i was wearing a pair of leggings and a big jumper as i walked along the path between the woods. i managed to get near the lake that was in the middle of all of the cabins and sat down on one of the benches.

i was mindlessly staring ahead the water, watching a few people swimming and bouncing on the inflatable trampoline in the middle.

two, teenaged boys suddenly started heading this way. i looked behind me to see if they were approaching someone else, but they reached me and i furrowed my brows in confusion.

"hey, are you okay?" the taller and blonde-haired one asked.

"yeah, why wouldn't i be?" i fiddled with my jumper, hoping that they wouldn't recognise me despite my new hair color.

"well, it's just that it's weird to see a pretty girl like you just sitting here alone" the curly haired brunette asked, as a smirk settled on his lips.

"i'm just out for some fresh air" i replied.

"are you staying around here?" the blonde questioned.

i hesitated, giving myself time to answer.

"don't worry" he laughed. "we're not gonna stalk you".

i gestured behind me, "yeah, just a few minutes away. you?".

"we're staying in the cabin over there, friends getaway" the brunette told and i nodded. "how about you? lemme guess, family vacation and they're currently stressing you out?".

i chuckled, "no, i'm actually here with my boyfriend".

"oh. well, we're having a party later on in that cabin, you and your boyfriend should come along - they'll be food, drinks, music, a hot tub. it'll be great".

i lightly shrugged as i wondered whether it would be a good idea and plus, i'd have to run it by jack first.

"okay, i'll think about it" i answered and the boys both said their goodbyes, before heading towards the path.

after a while, i made my way back to my own cabin. i caught jack leaving through the front door in a hurry, until he looked up and saw me.

"siena, where did you go?!" he exclaimed.

i creased my brows, going up the steps to enter the house, "just for a walk. why, what's wrong?".

jack followed me back inside and removed his jacket.

"i woke up and you'd disappeared from the house. you can't just leave without telling me" he told and i narrowed my eyes.

"leave without telling you? you're starting to sound like my dad" i scoffed, chuckling to soften my words.

"but i couldn't even contact you, what if something happened and i didn't know?".

"like what?" i questioned, growing annoyed at his unnecessary panic.

he pushed his hair back, leaving me without an answer.

"exactly" i said. "i was just clearing my head and i bumped into these two guys—".

"who?" he interrupted.

i shrugged, "i didn't catch their names, but—".

"well, what did they look like?" jack interrogated.

"my age, one with blonde hair, the other with dark. why does it even matter?" i asked and once again, he kept quiet.

what the hell is up with him today?

"any ways, they invited us to a party that they're hosting and i think it'll be nice to go" i added, walking off to the kitchen for some food.

jack came in right after and stood watching me prepare some eggs.

"weren't you the one saying that we had to lay low? you're reported as a missing person, siena. if any of those people at the party recognise you, it's over" he explained.

"recognise me? yes, because all of them will think back to the morning news and match my face with that old picture they saw".

jack wasn't taking my sarcasm and pursed his lips as i could tell that he was becoming agitated by this, or even by something else.

i came towards him, holding onto the hem of his shirt to gently pull him closer.

"what has gotten into you?" i asked in a much softer tone. "you've been so edge, even before the news report".

he licked his lips, then looked down at me, "i don't know. i guess that i just don't want to mess anything up. i want this, and one mistake could mean both of us getting sent home".

"but if this is going to work, we can't keep looking over our shoulders every second" i advised. "come on, it'll be fun".

jack hesitated for a while then sighed and bought my head in to kiss the top.

"fine, but only for a little while" he said and i grinned at his answer, before we both started making some breakfast to eat.

once we arrived at the party, wearing the most decent clothes we could find, we noticed that it wasn't too big but it also wasn't a small gathering.

loud music blasted - being heard from outside the house, and we entered to dim lights covering the living room and plenty of teenagers dancing and drinking.

"hey, it's the girl who was sitting by the lake!" the tall, blonde guy from earlier greeted with a red cup in his hand.

"hi, it's actually si—".

before i could manage to finish my name, jack nudged me in a reminder that we chose to give ourselves fake names for tonight, just in case.

"lexi. my name's lexi" i smoothly corrected.

"lexi, i like it. i'm isaac and you must be the boyfriend?" he turned to jack.

he nodded his head and held out his hand.

"i'm theo" jack lied and they shared a quick bro hug.

"okay, lexi and theo. enjoy yourselves and don't get too drunk" isaac winked, then patted jack's shoulder. "i'm just kidding, get as smashed as you want".

he walked away with a tipsy laugh, then jack and i decided to go and get ourselves our own drinks from the kitchen.

"see," i said, pouring the vodka into a cup. "it's not that bad, huh?".

"yeah, i guess you were right" jack muttered, taking the cup i gave him.

"i was, what? sorry, i didn't catch that?" i teased.

jack rolled his eyes, "you were right, siena edwards".

he spoke more clearly and i smiled with achievement.

"yeah, i know. i just wanted to hear you say it even louder" i confessed and he shook his head, smirking at me then placed a kiss on my lips.

after some time, i took a trip to the bathroom then came back to see two, pretty girls surrounding jack and evidently flirting with him.

the bleach, blonde girl touched at jack's bicep, "wow, so do you workout often?" she questioned.

"when i get the time to" jack shrugged.

"are you from around here, because maybe we could workout together?" she inquired.

my blood lightly boiled since i wasn't sure whether she meant a literal workout or was implying something else.

"um, i'm just here on a small vacation" jack replied.

"alone?" the bleach blonde's friend wondered.

i came forward and stood beside jack, "no, he's here with me".

"and who are you?" the first girl folded her arms over her chest.

"his girlfriend and who are you?".

she straightened her posture, "karlie. theo never said that he had a girlfriend".

"must have slipped his mind" i glared at jack.

karlie turned to him, "well, you have my number incase you change your mind, theo".

the girls both left our side to get themselves another drink then disappeared into the living room.

"you have her number?" i inquired, sternly folding my arms.

"yes, but look" he told me, before reaching into his pocket to take out the napkin with her number on it.

he scrunched it up in front of me, then threw it away.

"you weren't jealous, were you?" jack chuckled.

i scoffed, "i don't get jealous, jack".

"well, you were quick to mention that you were my girlfriend, so it seemed like jealousy to me".

i pursed my lips to hide the truth, then he took a step forward.

"i'm just teasing you" he grinned, kissing my cheek.

i looked to the side to see karlie and her friend glancing at jack and i, so i held onto his shoudler to pull him down to my height and started to kiss him passionately.

when i pulled away, he licked his lips then started grinning at me.

"they were watching, weren't they?" he asked.

"maybe" i confessed, refusing to look him in the eye.

"you're so cute when you're jealous. but, i'm heading to the bathroom so you better not let any guys flirt with you when i'm gone" he said, gesturing to the other guys around us.

i slightly held my hands, "i can't promise anything".

he smiled, shaking his head at me then left me alone in the kitchen.

while i waited, i got myself another drink and sat on one of the free bar stools. i watched and laughed at people drunkenly falling over, smoking god-knows-what, and dancing to the music inappropriately.

it's officially the first real day of jack and i's new lives — no parents, no judgement, no stupid rules or curfews.

i just wonder what tomorrow or the next day will be like and if we'll ever manage to live without the fear of being caught.

i took my drink to the living room to go and see if i could find isaac and at least engage in a conversation with him, since i knew no one but jack at this party.

"hey! hey, cut off the music!" a guy hastily rushed in from the front door.

the music was abruptly stooped and everyone fell into chatter of what was going on.

"the cops are here! so, everyone needs to get the fuck out now!" he exclaimed and before i knew it, everyone started panicking and rushing around the room to reach the nearest exit.

one police officer had already managed to get inside the house, so i hurried in the other direction to try and find jack.

"jack!" i called out in the chaotic noise.

i don't know what i'd do if the police had already caught him.

i turned around in one spot to see if i could find him until two hands suddenly grabbed my shoulders from behind.

they twisted me around and thank god, it was jack.

"come on, we need to go!" he grabbed my hand, before we rushed around the crowd and towards the back garden.

there was a gate at the far back that other people were escaping from, so we headed towards it but we could hear a cop's radio speaking on the other side.

jack held me back to stop me from making any sudden movement. he slyly peaked out to check if the coast was clear and when it was, we rushed hand in hand out of the gate, towards the path and ran back to our own cabin.

as soon as we got inside, i leant against the closed door and tried my best to catch my breath again.

"that was...so close" i tried to speak. "when i couldn't find you, i thought the police had gotten to you".

jack pulled his hands down his face, trying to regain his normal breath too.

"yeah. well, we're lucky that they didn't" he muttered, seeming slightly pissed off.

he didn't give me time to ask what was wrong when he jogged up the stairs - leaving me completely confused.

i had a small drink of water, then decided to follow jack up there to understand what was going on.

i caught him lying on our bed, shirtless and with his eyes closed, although i knew very well that he wasn't asleep.

i climbed onto the bed and sat beside him on my knees.

"hey" i tucked my hair behind my ear.

he hummed to respond, opening his eyes but refused to look at me.

"did i do something wrong?" i asked.

"siena, you—" he almost spoke in a hostile tone, but he glanced at me and released a small sigh. "no, it's just we were really close today and i told you that it wouldn't be the best idea to go to that party".

"i'm sorry. i just wanted to hang out like normal teenagers for a while because i mean, who knows how bad this hiding thing will get in a few weeks. what if we can't even go into a public area anymore?" i confessed to him.

he stroked my hand, "i know".

"...i'm scared, jack".

he sat up and caressed my cheek with his hand.

"no. as long as i'm here, i don't want you to ever feel scared, okay?" he assured me. "babe, i'd die before i let anything bad happen to you".

i stared into his dark eyes and even without his words, i immediately knew that i was safe with him. my mouth curved into a smile.

"me too" i agreed, causing him to smile back at me.

i cupped his face with my hands and placed a gentle kiss on his lips. jack responded by kissing me back and moving his arm around my waist to pull me closer.

as our lips began to quickly move in sync, jack slowly turned us over so that he was hovering over me and my arms wrapped around his neck. his body fell in between my legs and he pecked a kiss on the corner of my lips, then my jaw and worked his way onto my neck.

i moaned a little at the instant pleasure and without any hesitation, i gently pushed him up so that i could pull my dress over my head.

jack licked his lips at the sight then bought my body back down to the bed. his kisses moved to the top of my breasts, then down my stomach until he reached the hem on my panties.

he spread my legs, looking up at me for a moment and didn't hesitate to attach multiple kisses along my inner thighs.

my breathing hitched as he neared closer to the middle of my underwear, but every time he did, he'd migrate his lips back to my thighs as if he knew exactly what he was doing to me.

jack suddenly pressed his finger tip against my sensitive area, causing me to intake a sharp breath. he kissed my arousal over the material, then frustratingly worked his way back up to my neck to suck against my skin.

"you're doing this on purpose" i managed to say to him.

i felt his smirk vibrate against me, "i know".

i couldn't bare this urge anymore and this wasn't about to be over, so i moved my hands towards the middle of jack's waist — starting to unbuckle his pants.

he lifted his head, somewhat in a surprise.

"hey, are you sure?" he warmly questioned whilst stroking the hair of my face.

this would be end up being our first time. i mean, we've done a few sexual stuff before but this would make it all official.

kyle's the first and only other guy that i've ever been with and i definitely don't want him to be my last.

i bit down on my bottom lip, "more than anything".

jack grinned at my response, helping me take his pants off until he reached over to take out a condom from his bag.

after we both came undone, jack rolled off and lay beside me as we were both laced in sweat and breathing heavily. i gently took his arm and pulled it around my waist, so that he laid closely behind me.

it wasn't long until i managed to relax and close my eyes, because just being in jack's arms made it so much easier.
