Once Jacob and I made it back to my alley that I lived in, he broke down in full on tears.
"Come here, Jacob." I say softly, he listened and lunged into my arms.
I wrapped my arms around his figure, kissing the top of head.
"Mommy said that she used to love me but she can't anymore." Jacob croaks, the sound of it brings my mood down.
"Okay Jacob, I need you to look at me."
He lifts his head from my shoulder, looking straight into my eyes.
"My mommy and daddy don't love me either. Neither does my sister."
"But you are great. How can they not love you?" Jacob's contorted into a confused look.
"Not all of is get to be loved."
And now that I've known him for multiple years, I learn that we love each other. So everyone can be loved.
