10 years old
Two years on the streets, guys, two years. I don't think you understand how scary it is.
I never know when I will be able to eat again.
Sometimes, I can get someone like Ellie to talk to me and buy me food for a little while.
Gods, I really miss Ellie.
I just got so caught up in thinking that she would take me back to those demons that are called my parents.
I ran into her yesterday and it was very awkward.
She asked why I left without any notice and I just can't tell her about them.
I feel someone sit next to me, I look up to see a little boy with an ice cream cone in his hand.
"Hey Buddy, where are your parents?" I ask in a happy tone to not give off anything that isn't good.
"I can't find them. I was walking in front of them and then I turned around and they were gone."
At this point the kid had tears down his face. I got closer to him, "Hey it's alright. We will find them. What's your name, Buddy?" I ask giving the boy a sweet smile.
"Jacob" He mutters and that is the only thing I can understand from what he is saying.
