*One Week Later*
*Hanzo's POV*
It's been a week since the encounter with the hunter... but also since (Y/N) was found unconscious. No one knows what happened to her, doctors checked on her only to find nothing wrong. The grandmother seemed calm throughout the entire situation, like she knew everything would be fine. I was growing nervous as time went by, now refusing to leave her side. The hunter could find out (Y/N)'s location and could end badly for her. I have to protect (Y/N) no matter what the cost is.
Pacing around the small room, I was on full alert, keeping an eye on the people that passed by (Y/N)'s room. 'What am I doing... I'm acting like some type of guard dog that's over protective of their owners... I'm suppose to be a wolf...' I growl in annoyance. Sitting down I try to calm myself, breathing deep before relaxing. Looking at (Y/N) made me feel different and warm inside.
For a moment I thought I saw her hand twitch, but brushed it off as an illusion. It wasn't an illusion, a groan came from (Y/N) as she gripped the bed, opening her eyes slowly. Breaking from my shock I quickly call for a doctor as she looked around the small room. "What... what happened? Where am I?" "You're in the hospital... how do you feel?" "I feel okay, other then a little pain in my head. How long was I out?" "You were out for an entire week."
"WHAT!?!" (Y/N) yelled in panic as her heart monitor jumped. A nurse rushed in to calm (Y/N) down. I backed away so the doctors and nurses could take care of her. I felt a presence near by making me worry. 'Damnit... with all the commotion going on I can't tell who it is... hopefully it's not the hunter. If it is, I better try and lead him away. If I can lose him the first time, then I'm sure I can lose him again.' I thought before slipping out of the room and towards the elevator.
*(Y/N)'s POV*
I couldn't believe that I was out for an entire week. Nurses finally were able to calm me down, trying to ask questions of what happened before I passed out. I had no clue what happened and sat there, without say a word. 'The pain... it's gone yet still feels like it'll come back soon...' then I remembered the bracelet. I tried to get it off my wrist, acting like a mad man on cocaine. "Miss, please calm down. There's nothing on your wrist, or are you feeling any burning?" "What? No, my wrist isn't burning, I'm trying to get the bracelet off."
"Again miss, there's nothing on your wrist. So please calm down, you must be imagining things." The doctor said before writing down something on his broad. "I'll be back with some medication for you. Stay here until then, if you need anything, press the button the remote to call a nurse here." "I don't need an-" I was cut off by the door closing. I sigh, shaking my head. "I'm fine, I don't need any medication or anything. I'm fine..." Suddenly I heard heavy footsteps come near my room, opening the door before closing it quietly.
"I'm surprised that the wolf isn't protecting you. You must've not meant much to him then..." my eyes widen in fear as I press my back against my bed. The hunter appeared in front of me, a glare came from his dull brown eyes. I tried to reach the remote next to my bed, but the hunter grabbed it. "Tsk, tsk, don't be rude now. I've only came here for a few questions and nothing else." "Why are you here, I've done nothing wrong." "I'm the one ask'in questions here missy. So you better listen good or a bullet is going in your head." The hunter said sickly sweet as he showed the gun.
I sharnk back, recieving a chuckle from the hunter. "Good girl... now, lets start from the beginning... when did you meet the wolf and where?" "Ab-About two weeks a-ago... in the fore-forest where my grandmother li-lives." "I see, tell me, did the wolf give you the bracelet?" "Y-Yes..." I say quietly as I looked away from him. I felt him gently grab my chin and made me look at him. "I'm guessing you were forced to have the bracelet then." "Ye-Yes, it appeared on m-my wrist and I-I wasn't able to ta-take it o-off."
"No wonder you're so confused and scared. That wolf is the cause of you being in this mess... he's going to hurt you in the end." The hunter mumbled under his breath as he looked softly at me. "W-What do you mean?" "You're now stuck with him, he force a marking on you, though it's not permanent. He has to bite you in order to make you his live forever, a bracelet just means that you're his target. The mate they choose doesn't have a choice." "I-Is there a w-way to get rid o-of it?" I asked nervously.
My body tensed as he shifted and his cold glare came back. "The only way for the mark to go away is if you die or the wolf dies. I rather much kill the wolf, be done and over with it. Taking an inoccent girls life would be a shame to see happen." "W-Wait, I have t-to die or the wolf!" "Well yes, there's no other way. If you want to be free... tell me where the wolf hides at... then you'll be free." The hunter said softly as he held my hands togehter. My heart beated faster and my face turns into confusion. 'W-Why do I feel safe with thus m-man, he threatened me to kill me with a g-gun and now he's being all sw-sweet and ki-kind...' my mind was to clouded.
"I-I uh..." I couldn't speak, my throat became dry so suddenly. "Its alright miss... you don't have to be afraid. All you have to do is tell me where the wolf hides and you'll live a normal life. You won't have to deal with all this fantasy world anymore..." "A-Are you s-sure?" "I promise you..." he leaned in and hugged me, causing my body to go stiff. My mind wanted to tell the truth to him, but my heart didn't, a pain came within it. "The wolf... lives within the forest you encountered us in... he lives in a small wooded cabin hidden deep within... he has a brother that lives with him as well..." the words were hard to get out.
Pain went through my head, but I didn't do anything. The hunters grip tightened a little before kissing my forehead. "Thank you miss..." "(Y/N)." "(Y/N)... thank you for helping me out. I promise to make sure you have a normal life once the wolves are dead. You'll be safe from the monster soon enough..." the hunter let me go and stood up, going towards the door. Turning back, he winked at me while smirking. "The names McCree if you were wondering. Hope to see you again darling." McCree chuckled before disappearing. My heart felt heavy and it was hard to breath. 'What have I done...'
