*(Y/N)'s POV*
Morning rises as the birds chirped happily and the faint chatter of squirrels in the distance. I groan as the curtains where opened by grandma. "Its time to wake up (Y/N), it's already 10 and breakfast is about to get cold. Come get some before we leave." "Grandma, why can't I sleep in a little more? And where are we going?" I said yawning with chuckling at me. "Well, don't you want to met the wolf? I'm sure he'd be delighted to see you at last." "Grandma, I don't think that would be wise. What if he was tricking you and planned on killing you? Have you ever thought of that?" "Oh nonsense, he's to kind hearted to hurt someone as old as me. I'm sure he won't hurt you since you are my granddaughter, he'd probably try to impress you as a sorry." "Sorry grandma, but I don't feel like having the same fate like dad. You can see the wolf, I'm not going out there." I said before looking out the window to see the blue sky. Grandma sighed as she walked out of the room before stopping and looking back at me. "You know (Y/N), if he had wanted to hurt you, he would've done it while you were vulnerable and before your father appeared. Keep that in mind deary." With that grandma left for the porch. I sat there thinking of what she said. 'Maybe I should give the wolf a chance? I mean, either way he'll probably kill me or just growl at me.' I huffed as I got up to put close on and got myself some breakfast. Once I was finished I peeked out the front door to see grandma waiting for me. "Don't be shy deary, your okay to come out." "Is the wolf out here? If so then no, I'm okay inside the house." "(Y/N)..." Grandma said before turning her head to in front of her. "Don't worry, she'll warm up to you. She's just a little shakened up from last night." A faint huff was heard as the wolf poked his head out from behind Grandmas small form.
His fur was a brownish-black coat as his eyes were a light brown. The wolf flickered his ears as he watched me slowly come out of the house and beside my grandma. "(Y/N), why don't you stick your hand out. Let him get to know you before he decides if you can pet him or not." "Grandma, I don't want to touch him. What if he bites me instead?" "He won't, just trust me deary... do you have no fate in me? Do you think I lie to you?" "No grandma, I don't think of you like that." "Then stick out your hand." Grandma said as she gently grabbed my hand. Closing my eyes I let my hand towards the wolf as he got close to it. Feeling his hot breathe against my hand I freeze. The sound of sniffing and huffing was heard as he moved his head away front hand and up my arm. "Oh my, I've never seen him done this before. He must feel attached to you, maybe it must be the gift he gave you last night?" Grandma chuckled as I turned my head away as the wolf started to sniff my face. "Grandma, I don't feel comfortable with him so close to my face... I thought you said he'd only check out my hand..." I say as he growled a little before rubbing his head against my neck, causing me to shiver. "Aw, see (Y/N), he likes you. I'm surpised he warmed up to you that quickly. It took him a week to get use to me." "How nice, but how do I stop him. He's making me even more nervous now that his rubbing against me." "Just stay still, I'm sure he'll stop soon. For now, it's almost time for me to go. I'll be back around 3. Behave while I'm gone." "What! Don't leave me all alone!" "You got your friend to keep you company." She said while getting up to brush off the dirt before heading towards her car. I was about to get up, but the wolf growled in disagreement as he pushed me back down. Grandma smiled as she left me alone... with the wolf. Great...
*Wolf's POV*
Once the older woman left, it was only me and the girl. 'This could be my chance to finally take her out... though even before I could've killed her grandmother, but I guess I am a softy. I couldn't even kill... that man. I only injured him and left to see the girl safe.' I thought as I rubbed my head against the girls stomach. I could feel her tense up at my movement, trying to stay still just in case I attack her. "I hope grandma hurries up... I don't want to be near this wolf..." the girl said shaky in fear. 'Rude, I maybe a wolf and all, but not all wolves are the same...' I huffed as I used my teeth to gently grab her shirt. The girl froze as I pulled her up and started to drag her into the forest. "Wh-What a-are yo-you d-doing! Le-Let m-m-me g-go!" She panicked as I growl at her and pull on her shirt harder. Apparently I pulled to hard and teared the girls shirt, leaving a hole. The girl started to run away from me as I easily caught her making her fall to the ground. The girl cried as I growled and barked at her. "You stupid girl, just follow me! Why can't you just do one damn thing!" I said angrily making the girls eyes shot open in shock. "Y-Y-YOU CA-CAN T-TALK!?! HOW?!?" "What? You can understand me? This doesn't make any sense... I spoke to you earlier and you ran from me, now you can listen to me?" I looked at the girl as she began to shake in fear. "STAY AWAY FROM ME YOU DEMON! ANIMALS CAN'T TALK, ESPECIALLY WOLVES!" The girl pushed me off as she ran towards the house. "Wait- HOLD ON, GET BACK HERE! I'M TRYING TO TALK WITH YOU! AND I'M NOT A DEMON!" "NEVER! I'M NOT GETTING NEAR YOU DEMON!" She yelled back as I jolted up and after the girl. Sadly she reached the door before I could catch her again and shut it in my face. I growl while scratching the door, leaving deep markings. "OPEN UP! I DIDN'T MEAN TO SCARE YOU! PLEASE LET ME IN!" I yelled as the girl didn't reply back, only to be greeted by silence. I whine as I sat down infront of the door, waiting patiently for her to open the door or her grandmother to come home. 'This is ridicules, why the hell is she afraid of me...' I thought before laying down and closing my eyes.
*(Y/N)'s POV*
I stayed quiet for the sake of making the wolf leave. That didn't work since he decided to sleep instead, making me even more annoyed and scared. 'How the hell could I understand that wolf? This can't be real, I must still be alseep because of how bazaar it is. Everything is happening to fast for my comfort...' I sigh before going to my grandma's little library. Books were everywhere and each having different ending, some being sad while others were happy and maybe some strange ones. Getting bored since grandma wouldn't be back for a while, I looked around the library for a good book to pass the time. 'Lets see... Cinderella no, Beauty and The Beast maybe... wait, Little Red Hood? I havent heard that story in a long time, I don't even remember what it's about... guess this will do.' I thought before grabbing the book and flipped to the beginning. Reading a bit I start to see what was going on, Little Red Riding Hood's mother tells her to take some food to her Granny who is sick. Little Red Riding Hood meets the wolf and she tells him where she is going. The wolf goes ahead of her and eats her Granny and then waits for Little Red Riding Hood to come. In some endings, the wolf eats Little Red and that's the end, but some other endings have it were the wolf was killed before it could get Little Red too. It makes me think back to the wolf that my grandma has grown close to, this causing my breath to hitch before shaking my head. 'Stop thinking that, nothing bad will happen to grandma nor will I. This will not be like that damn fairytale...' I sigh in relief as I heard grandma come through the door with her very quiet footsteps. Putting away the book, I went to greet her to only to the wolf sniffing around the living room with grandma walking towards the kitchen.
"Grandma! Why did you let the wolf inside!" "Because he seemed lonely, so I brought him in. It was rude of you to lock him out." "He tried to drag me through the woods, he ripped my shirt in the process! I didn't want to deal him taking more then what he has done!" "Stop complaining, he was probably wanting to show you his den or the waterfall near his home." She sighed as I stare at her in shock. The wolf huffed in agreement as he sat beside grandma. "Your grandmother is correct, I was only trying to show a kind gesture towards you. That failed when you started to panic, ripping your shirt in the process, thinking I would attack you." The wolf said as he licked his fur. "Okay okay, I get it. But would you please control him, he's creeping me out as he talks to me." "Dear, what are you talkinv about? A wolf can't talk, he can howl, bark, growl, and whine. You sure you didn't hit your head?" "Ne-Never mind, f-forget what I said. I need to lay down now, my head is killing me..." I said as grandma looked at me worriedly. The wolf followed after me as I tried to shut the door on him only for him to growl. Knowing he'd just scratch up the door, I let him pass as he strides in and jumps on the edge of the bed, watching me with curious eyes. Once closing the door I glare at him. "Just leave me alone, I don't have anything you want nor have I done anything against you. Why do you proceed on keeping a close eye on me?" "Because you have caught my attention, I can't simply forget a face like yours. Beside, I gave you the bracelet, that makes us have a bond." "No, I will not have a bond with you. Take your damn bracelet back and give it to some other girl or a guy." I hissed as I try to take the bracelet off only for it to glow. The wolf shakes his head as he watched me struggle. "What the- what is this? Why can't I take this off!?! What did you do to this!"
"Its a normal thing that happens, if a bracelet appears in front of the human that was spared by a wolf. If the human puts on the bracelet, they are in a bond until one dies. We are now connected, no magic spell to lift it nor does true loves first kiss. Forever stuck with no turning back." "Fuck you! I'm not going to be bound to a wolf! For all I know, you could kill me!" I said as I try to take the bracelet off once more. The wolf huffed as he laid down, yawning. "Look kid, I don't know what to say, but except your fate. I've done this many times before, young fair maidens bitching and crying about this problem. If you reallt want out, then you got a few options or one, meaning death." "I'm not dying at a young age! I still got a life to live to the fullest! Why can't I kill you!" "You really want to try and kill me? You'll get your body ripped to shreds if you even try... and I'm warning you about what I can't do." The wolf growled darkly at me, causing me to shrink back in fear. The wolf stopped growling as he huffed before looking away. "Now, take a few pain medicines to help with your head and take a nap. That'll stop the pain." "Fine... but you have no control over me. If I can't kill you then I at least don't have to listen your orders next time." "If you say so kid, but I'm older then you. Besides, would you listen to me if you were in a do or die situation?" "Hell no, because you could end up killing me instead. Now stop talking, you're give me a headache." I said as I walked to the private bathroom for some meds and taking them. Walking back to the bedroom, the wolf had drifted off to sleep as his body moved slowly with his breathing. Sighing I lay on the bed with the wolf at my feet. Feeling tired, I fall in and out of the real world and the dream world. Just before I fell alseep I felt the bed shift and soft fur against my right arm. 'Can't this wolf leave me in peace...' I passed out into darkness.
