I slam the truck's door shut and strap my twin blades onto my back.

Reaper looks up at the huge castle like building in front of us, "You sure this is the right place Griffin?"

I nod, coming to stand next to her, "This is the place the boss sent."

Serpent snorts, "Wonder what this poor soul did."

I shrug, "Well it doesn't matter, a job is a job no matter what the sucker did." I eye the building in front of me, "We will all have to go in, this place is too big not too. Mark come with me, Johnny stay here and guard the truck and holler if anything happens." I look at my teammates, "We will split up; Reaper and Serpent take the top floors and make your way down, I'll take the bottom going up. Find the target and give a holler when you're done or if you need help, I don't care how you two get in, just don't make any noise, okay?"

They both nod and run off to the building, I sigh and drag the boy over to the building after them.

We walk up to the front door. "So? Are we going in?" Mark asks.

I frown, "Something seems off..." I mutter.

Mark cocks his head to the side, I roll my eyes at him and drag him away from the door and over to a small window in the back of the house. With a swift kick I knock the glass out of the frame. I motion for him to go in before me, Mark crawls into the window and I wince as I hear a loud crash meaning he just fell through. So much for selth, I thought as I slid gracefully into the room.

Mark snorts, "Show off."

I glance down at him, he was sitting on the ground staring up at me holding his wrist. He probably sprained it with that fall through the window, I muse.

I walk swiftly by him, glancing around the room as I went. The room was extremely fancy and high quality with it's pricey paintings and lush carpet, a grand piano sat off to the side gathering dust. Memorys threatened to surface at just the sight of the piano.

Sighing I shook my head. Now is not the time, we have a mission.

"Do you know how to play?" I heard the boy ask quietly.

My head whips around to face him where he is still siting on the floor by the window, watching me silently, "I use to."

He stands up and walks over to the piano, his long slim fingers dust off the seat, "Come play me something." It wasn't a question.

I frown at him, "The target might hear."

Rolling his eyes he comes over and grabs my hand and pulls me to the grand piano. I start to think this boy is bipolar or something.

"Reaper and Serpent got it, come on just one song."

I huff in annoyance, but slowly sit down on the wooden bench. The bench makes a creak as I sit on it showing its lack of use. I let my fingers hover over the keys as my mind goes back to an old song my mother use to sing.

She would sit there next to my brothers and my cot and run her fingers lovingly through his hair as she sang.

"The sky is turning dark tonight."

My father would play along to my mothers voice on his guitar, back before he had to sell it for extra money.

"Put out the candles, put out the flames."

My mother would take me to the library where they had a small piano and teach me how to play.

"The town is burning, oh can't you see."

This was the only song she was able to teach me.

"Run, Johnny, run."

Before they tore down the old library.

"The fire is spreading, soon we will all be ashes, ashes, and ashes apon the ground."

And they killed my mom and dad.

"To see the stars, you must first see them fall."

Leaving me to finnish school, get assigned a job from the government, and try to keep my brother alive.

"Run, Johnny, run."

You see the government is stupid. Well stupid is an understatement. At 18 when we finish school we take a test, if we don't get a perfect score the government gets to decide our job, which is pretty much every job the rich don't want to do since the rich can pay their why out of the test.

"Oh run, Johnny, run."

Oh and if you have something that the government thinks won't benefit them, like say being blind? They will pretty much kill you, but of course you can pay monthly fees for that not to happen.

"For it's dark out tonight, the fire is raging on."

Try to not follow any of this and you wouldn't see it to the next morning.

"Blow out the candles, let the mighty stars fall all around."

I turn back to glance at Mark who is watching me closely. Turning back to the keys I finnish out the song, "So run, run, run, Johnny, run. Run, run, run, Johnny, run."

I sit there a moment leting my fingers rest lightly on the keys. I was about to turn around when I froze. Someone else was in the room with us.
