Phantom hooked up Jeff's phone to his laptop so he could break into it and the heroes waited for answers. Phantom didn't even look at them, "I've known for years that Joker and Jeff hate each other."

"Over these last few years I figured out how to get Joker to tell me what he knew and usually I'd tell him what I know. He doesn't know the whole reason they're after me or why I know so much, I don't think he cares so that's good for me. This time I knew I could get him to tell me what I wanted to know using his own ego and his rivalry with Jeff."

"Everything I said was true, very few people know about Jeff but those that do are saying Jeff is going to try to overthrow Joker. The part about Jane is true too, of course she'd never join Slender's group since she wants Jeff dead but it was enough to get Joker's attention."

Flash spoke, "But who is Jane?"

"She's called Jane the Killer, Jeff killed her family and she wants him dead because of it, she's not as bad as Jeff but I wouldn't want to be on her bad side."

Robin spoke, "And yet your on the bad side of seven other killers."

Phantom paused for a second, "Fair point." Phantom continued trying to break into Jeff's phone and after over ten minutes he finally did it. And looked at everything from his laptop, to say that some of the stuff was disturbing was an understatement.

Artemis spoke, "So have you found anything yet?"

"Confirmation on some victims, pictures, some other disturbing stuff you really don't want to know about, nothing that-." He paused, "Hold on, what the hell?"

Aqualad looked slightly confused, "Did you find something?"

Phantom was silent for a few seconds and the heroes waited to see what he'd found, he didn't seem too happy. He suddenly froze and his eyes widened, "Oh shit."

Phantom suddenly sprang up from his chair and ran out of the room, none of the heroes had time to stop him. Batman and Robin looked at the screen of the laptop, a picture had just been sent from what was apparently Eyeless Jack's phone. Jeff was smiling into the camera holding his knife up with blood on it, in fact everything was covered in the stuff.

The wall behind him had words written in said blood simply stating, 'Come get me White.' Neither of them were sure if Phantom recognized where Jeff was or saw something they didn't but either way this was bad.

Batman looked at the other heroes, "We need to get Phantom, now."

They didn't have to be told twice, they ran after him but he had already left using the zeta tubes. They didn't have to check and see where he went so they just ran through the zeta tubes and ended up in a relatively small town. Now they had to figure out where Phantom went and thankfully Superman could find him by taking to the skies and looking around.

He was already running up to a house almost on the other side of the city and Superman immediately went to tell the others. They started making their way over there and hoped nothing bad would happen to Phantom before they arrived. Meanwhile, Phantom ran into the house and flung open the door, "Jeff!"

Jeff was nowhere in sight, it looked like there had been some sort of birthday party, the parents were all dead but the kids were still alive. They were tied up and had tape over their mouths but they were alive, Phantom ran over and carefully took the tape off their mouths, "Are you all okay?"

Several of the kids nodded and a little girl spoke, "Our parents-."

He cut her off, "I know, I'm sorry I didn't get here in time to save them but I can save you." Phantom untied them and looked at the kids, "Where's the guy that did this?"

Someone spoke from behind him, "Closer then you think." Phantom immediately turned around and cursed himself for not hearing him, he stood in front of the kids and glared at Jeff. Jeff laughed a little, "Took you long enough to get here."

"Sorry my invite must have gotten lost in the mail, but I never show up to a party empty handed."

Jeff laughed again before he attacked Phantom without any warning and Phantom moved to the left and punched Jeff in the face. He had to protect the kids and keeping Jeff away from them was his first priority, he had to think fast. Phantom looked at the kids, "Run outside and call the police, I'll distract him until they get here okay?"

A little boy spoke, "But what about you?"

"I'll be fine, I can handle this but I need your help to stop him so I need you to leave and call the police."

The kids looked at each other before they nodded and Jeff attacked again, Phantom grabbed his wrist and kicked him. The kids ran and Jeff was about to run after them but Phantom attacked him and punched him again. Jeff slashed at Phantom but he managed to dodge it and without the kids here he didn't have to worry about protecting them.

Jeff lunged at Phantom and the teen kicked Jeff, this was just making the killer angrier which was not good for Phantom. Jeff attacked again and Phantom had no choice but to guard with his arm, Jeff cut it and managed to pin Phantom. At the same time he knocked over a lamp and it broke on the floor, Phantom struggled and managed to kick Jeff away.

Jeff got mad and threw his knife, Phantom just barely dodged it but it cut part of his neck and tuck into the wall. Phantom put a hand on his throat to try and stop the bleeding, it was already bleeding pretty badly so this wasn't good. Jeff tried punching Phantom but he grabbed Jeff's wrist and flipped him so he handed on his back.

Jeff seemed slightly dazed and Phantom moved back, Jeff got up and grabbed his knife before attacking again. Phantom had no choice but to continue moving back to avoid the attacks and Jeff ended up cornering him. Phantom didn't have time to get away before Jeff stabbed him and the teen bit back a scream.

Phantom pushed Jeff back and took out the knife, not the best idea but the knife would get in his way. Phantom kicked Jeff in the chest and that gave him a chance to punch Jeff and luckily it was enough to knock him out. It was hard to tell since Jeff didn't have eyelids but Phantom had learned to tell if he was asleep or not.

While Phantom had been fighting Jeff the heroes got to the house and the kids had run outside trying to figure out what they should do. When they saw the heroes they all ran to them and a little girl spoke to Superman, "There's a bad man in the house!"

Batman knelt in front of the girl, "What bad man?"

"A man with a scary smile, he hurt our parents, the white haired boy saved us."

They then heard something break inside and Green Arrow looked at the kids, "Are they still in there?"

Several of the kids nodded and they kept hearing noises in the house, they wanted to run in but they might just make it worse. Several minutes later the noises stopped and Phantom eventually walked out looking very pale. He had a hand pressed to the side of his neck and he was dragging Jeff by the back of his hoodie behind him.

Robin immediately ran over and Phantom dropped Jeff whose hands were tied up, Phantom looked like he was about to collapse. There was blood running between his fingers and soaking into his clothes, Batman spoke, "What happened?"

Phantom briefly took his hand away from the wound on his neck and found that it was still bleeding heavily. The heroes were stunned and Phantom tried putting more pressure on the wound to get it to stop. "Jeff happened, he sent that picture because he knew I could hack into his phone, this is the result."

Phantom's vision started to go blurry, he heard the heroes talking but couldn't make out what they said. Then everything started going black and pretty soon he passed out, he was tired and losing too much blood, maybe they'd finally managed to kill him.
