Author POV

Mi-yeon walked along the deserted road as the cool Autumn air nipped at her skin.  She had been walking for weeks but had gotten nowhere, even so she kept walking hoping to find someone or something.  Hope was what kept her walking, but as the days went by she began to lose that hope.  The days were getting shorter and colder as the leaves fell off the tree branches one by one.  As if they were counting off the days till winter, till Mi-yeon would lose hope.

On her cheeks was the remnants of tears that had dried after many nights of crying.  Her eyes were red and bloodshot with dark circles and bags from lack of sleep.  Her hair was unkempt, Mi-yeon was so young yet her life was slowly slipping away.  Food was something that was hard to find. When she did find some it would be a very small portion, not nearly enough to satisfy her hunger.

Cars went by once in a while but no one stopped to help Mi-yeon.  They just passed her not even sparing a glance.  One day however was different, as usual Mi-yeon was walking while cars passed ever once in a while.  Today however someone stopped and offered her a ride, she hesitantly excepted and slowly got into the car a bit cautious. The driver of the car was a handsome guy bit taller than her with a skinny semi-muscular build and blonde hair.

"So where you headed?" the guy asked looking at Mi-yeon with a warm smile on his face.  Mi-yeon looked down unsure of how to respond.  She bit her lip slightly before responding"um Home" she replied.  The guy nodded "ok well where do you live?" he asked.  Mi-yeon thought for a moment "well I don't exactly have a home yet...I'm trying to find one" she responded sheepishly.  The guy was a bit confused "what do you mean by that" he asked.  "Well um... I ran away from home and I'm trying to find a new one" Mi-yeon replied nervously.

The guy nodded and stayed silent for a moment before deciding to help Mi-yeon since he too had ran away from his home.  "You can stay with me till you get on your feet" he offered smiling as Mi-yeon's eyes lit up in happiness.  "R-really that would be great!" she said as the guy nodded.  "Yea I'm sure my dorm mates probably won't mind" he said smiling brightly.  Mi-yeon smiled as well "thank you so much" she said happily.  The guy nodded again "no problem I ran away as well so I know how you feel and would like to help you in any way possible" he said as he started driving to his dorm. 

The car was silent for a while before the guy spoke again "oh my name is Jackson by the way...I just thought you should know since you will be staying at my place" he said.  Mi-yeon nodded "it's nice to meet you Jackson my name is Mi-yeon." She said smiling lightly

A/N:so there's the first chapter I hope you liked it. I know it is a bit short and only 527 words but since I am writing this on my phone my chapters will most likely be short. If you notice this is in 3rd person POV most of it will be unless I indicate otherwise by saying it is a certain person's POV.  Anyway thanks for reading and please vote and comment luv you guys bai💙
