New chapter!!! Enjoy~~<3

***

It was hard for Yoongi to see big and happy families around him, knowing he'll never have that. Speaking of, every single one of his members had happy families besides him. He hated how he felt when the other men talked about their families. Jealousy and anger—those were the main emotions he felt during those certain conversations, and he especially felt like that when you described your family.

Telling the other members the partial truth about his family was a struggle as none of the members really understood what he was saying, not even Namjoon. He couldn't exactly come out and flat out say that he ran away, so he had to sugarcoat it and just say that they didn't have a good relationship. Jungkook especially didn't understand as he was so young when Yoongi told them. How could parents not have a good relationship with their own son? With all of those hidden thoughts and emotions buried deep inside of him, imagine how conflicted Yoongi felt when Hoseok announced to the men ten minutes before that his family were coming to visit. He had to bite back a deep growl that wanted to escape him. Damn him.

"Oh! We haven't seen your parents and Dawon-noona in so long!" Jimin squealed in excitement.

"I know! And since Dawon got married, her husband will be tagging along as well!" Hoseok chirped. Yoongi's eyes twitched in annoyance. Too many people in his personal space always made him anxious. Perhaps he should take one of his pills.

"Yoongi-hyung, aren't you excited to see Noona?" Jungkook asked with wide eyes.

"Yeah!" Yoongi exclaimed with fake excitement.

"Me too!" Jungkook cheered. Yoongi gave him a fake smile.

"They'll be here any minute now, so you guys go clean up a bit so we look a bit more considerate, alright?" Seokjin commanded. Everyone (beside Yoongi) agreed and went on their way. Yoongi went up to his room and collapsed onto his bed with a deep and low growl. His good mood was ruined (well, it was really never there) and all he wanted to do was turn into his wolf form and run around the forest, but there was nowhere around him where he could do such a thing. Usually when he could no longer hold his wolf form back, he'd just shift in his room by himself. However, it wasn't very food for him since there was nowhere that he could run around.

"Hyung! They're here!" Taehyung's voice called from the other side of the door. Yoongi growled again before forcing himself off his bed and padding into the kitchen.

The moment he stepped into the kitchen, all eyes turned to him. Awkwardly, he gave Hoseok's family a small smile and a little wave. "Hey there, Yoongi!" Dawon exclaimed happily while walking towards Yoongi and engulfing him in a hug. Yoongi wanted to growl at her when she unknowingly rubbed against his scent gland, but held it back. "How've you been?" she asked.

"Fine," Yoongi replied shortly. "I'm just tired."

"You already sleep all day, Yoongi," Seokjin snorted. "How much more rest could you possibly need?" Yoongi turned towards his hyung to glare and retort, but made himself shut up when Seokjin looked at him warningly. It was very rare that Seokjin would pull the "hyung" card since he was the unofficial fake maknae, but when he did, everyone listened to him.

"There's no harm in loving to sleep, Seokjin, as long as you make sure to do other things and live out your life as well," Hoseok's mother grinned.

"I agree," a man's voice said. Startled, Yoongi turned to face the voice, immediately tying him to Dawon by the way he was holding her waist. How hadn't he noticed him? There was another man on his territory, and he didn't even notice! Once again, he had to hold back a dark growl. He hated new people invading his territory. He almost hated it more than he hated is parents.

"It's nice to meet you," Namjoon said politely while slightly bowing respectfully towards the older man, signally for the other men (minus Hoseok) to do it as well.

"It's nice to meet you six as well," Dawon's husband smiled.

"Why don't we go out to dinner?" Mr. Jung proposed.

   "Sure, why not?" agreed Namjoon.

"Quick! Think of an escape!" Yoongi thought frantically. "Um, I already ate. I'm full now." Too add on to his fib, he placed both hands on his stomach.

"Oh, that's okay! You can just not order anything!" said Mrs. Jung. Yoongi forced himself to smile as the Game Over music from Super Mario 64 played in his head.

   "O—kay!" Yoongi coughed.

"Coolio! Let's get going!" Yoongi's other members cheered, but Yoongi was silently suffering. Why does he have to go through this?

***

"So, what're you guys going to eat?" Hoseok's mom asked curiously once everyone was seated. The other nine people had chosen to go to an extremely fancy restaurant, Hoseok having already made reservations for them. Yoongi had no choice but to agree even though he didn't like that restaurant's food.

"I'm going to order some expensive japchae!" Taehyung said excitedly.

"I'll get some lamb skewers! Yoongi-hyung, do you want to share a big portion with me?" Jungkook questioned, his gigantic doe eyes shining with anticipation. A fresh raw rabbit sounded good at that moment, he thought. Yoongi lazily looked up from his menu before sighing and setting it down.

"Sure, kid," Yoongi agreed. Jungkook pouted and whined childishly at the nickname.

Soon enough, everyone's orders were taken and everyone—minus Yoongi—was conversing. Yoongi could feel himself become more and more irritable with every passing minute. Being around so many people in such a small space and the fact the Dawon's husband was still unfamiliar to him was starting to overwhelm him. The wolf inside him was clawing at the surface, desperate to get out. Yoongi's breathing started picking up and his eyes began to frantically search for the exit. Where was it?

"Hey man, you okay there?" Dawon's husband asked worriedly and curiously, drawing all attention to turn to him. No! Don't look at him! The man's unfamiliar scent was suffocating. He should've brought his anxiety medicine. What were those breathing exercises that his therapist taught him? It'd been so long since he'd been to therapy that he could barely even remember how her voice sounded like. Perhaps he should've kept going.

"Hyung, are you okay?" Namjoon's voice this time. Something familiar, but at the same time, unfamiliar. Why was he spiraling so fast? He hadn't had a panic attack in ages. Why did one have to come in public of all places?

"Everyone give him some space," Yoongi faintly heard Hoseok's dad order everyone. Yes, that's good. Everyone get away from him. Too many scents; none of them pack. Yoongi should've made his members pack. But they're all humans—would've it even worked?

"Yoongi, I need you to breathe with me," a voice said from right in front of him. When did he get there? Yoongi was startled when he felt a drop of water land on his lap. When had he started crying? That realization had Yoongi start crying harder for some reason.

   "H-Hyung?" Someone touched him.

"Don't touch me!" Yoongi snarled, his hand reaching out to slap the other hand away, causing the other to cry out in pain. Yoongi faintly registered the voice as Jimin's, but didn't dwell on it.

"How do we calm him down?" Dawon distantly questioned.

"Don't touch him, for one. We don't even know what caused him to start panicking."

"H-Hyung said he didn't want to come. Or at least implied it. Perhaps he isn't feeling well?"

"Do any of you boys have his parent's numbers?" Hoseok's mom asked. "Maybe they know how to calm him down."

"Yoongi doesn't talk about his parents. Said he doesn't have a good relationship with them," answered Seokjin.

"Why won't they be quiet?" Yoongi asked himself in his mind. "Leave me alone!"

"Yoongi? What's going on?" Yoongi's eyes widened at the presence of your voice in his mind.

"Y/N," he gasped. "H-Help me. I can't breathe." He heard you gasp on the other side. He needed you. He needed you now.

"Yoongi, I need you to calm down," you coaxed through the mind link.

"B-But they won't get away from me! There's too many scents. None of them are pack. Make them leave me!"

"Where are you, Yoongi? I'll come and get you."

"A restaurant across SM Entertainment. Please hurry!"

"I'll get there as quickly as possible, but you need to be calm enough for me to get you. Do you know any breathing exercises?"

"No," Yoongi sniffed. His members and Hoseok's family were still discussing on how to calm him down without actually trying to calm him down. How did that even work?

"Okay, we'll try something different then. Can you name five things you can see?"

"U-Um—" Yoongi opened his eyes and attempted to look through his droopy and wet eyelashes. "I-I see the table, my drink, Namjoon, Jungkook, and Hobi's father."

"Good, sweetheart." Yoongi almost purred from the praise. "Now, I want you to name four things you can touch."

"All I can feel is my own heart trying to leap out of my chest!"

"No, baby, I need you to concentrate on what you exactly feel." Baby? Yoongi was going to end up spontaneously combusting.

"O-Okay. I feel . . . my seat, my pants, my tears, a-and my heartbeat."

"Good, good. Do I need to go further?"

Yoongi sat there in silence for a few minutes, not replying to your question quite yet. The longer he sat there, the better he felt. His breathing evened out and his tears slowed down to a stop. Yoongi found himself finally able to breathe again. "No," he eventually answered. "Thank you, pup. I feel so much better now." Not completely one hundred percent, but enough to get him the fuck out of that restaurant.

"That's great, baby. Do you still need me to come?" Yoongi looked around. The others were still talking about him without acknowledging him. How ridiculous.

"Please?" On the other side of the mind link, Yoongi heard you chuckle. A red blush spread across Yoongi's pale face and he played with his fingers nervously.

"Okay. Come outside then; I'll be there in two minutes."

"See you there." Yoongi cut the connection and stood up from his seat, causing every eye to turn towards him.

"Hyung! Where are you going?" Hoseok called out.

"I'm leaving. I don't want to be here anymore."

   "But hyung—"

"I'm leaving, Hoseok! There's too many people here. I can't be here anymore."

"B-But you're feeling better? We didn't even notice when you began to calm down!"

"Of course you didn't. None of you were even paying attention to me." There was silence from everyone in front of him. Yoongi wiped away a stray tear with his hand and used his sleeve to wipe away the remnants of his past tears. "Now, if you'll excuse me." Yoongi walked away, brushing shoulders with Dawon's husband in the process. He stopped and stared at him in the eyes. In order to intimidate him and show who the alpha was, Yoongi briefly allowed his eyes to flash red. He watched happily as the man's eyes widened and began to shake slightly in fear. He growled quietly to himself in pleasure before bumping shoulders against him once more and stalking out of the restaurant.
