Ahaha . . . Here's a chapter I guess? At least it's extra long . . .

You were mopping your small bathroom when the doorbell outside of your condo played its tune. You swiped the mop against the floor one more time for good measure and set the mop off to the side before exiting the bathroom and made your way towards your front door. "Coming!" you called when the doorbell once again played.
"Hurry the fuck up then!" Woomin's voice said from behind the door. You huffed and rolled your eyes but opened the door for him anyway. Woomin harshly pushed himself through the doorway and shouldered past you roughly, making you stumble.
"Hey! Watch out!" you hissed angrily as you closed the door behind him.
"It's cold as hell outside and you were just standing still! What did you expect?" Woomin scoffed while falling back onto your couch.
"For you to wait for me to move out the way?" you suggested like it was an obvious answer, which it was.
Woomin rolled his eyes. "Yeah right." You rolled your eyes back and bent down in front of him to give him a warm and friendly hug. You faintly heard Woomin sigh before he returned your hug with a little more force than necessary.
"I missed you," you mumbled into your best friend's neck.
"Me too," he replied while tightening his grip on you even more. When you tried to pull away, he resisted for a few moments before giving in. You awkwardly rubbed your sore arms when he turned towards your couch, immediately knowing that they were going to bruise.
"So what the hell do you do over here all by yourself?" Woomin questioned while flopping over onto the couch. "Do you have a job?"
"I'm currently searching for a job," you confessed while joining Woomin on the couch. "Our college is different than human college, so my degree is not valid here. I'm thinking of being an animal trainer since I'm, you know, half wolf." Woomin nodded and leaned forward on the couch.
"So your parents have been paying for this condo?" Your cheeks darkened and you looked away embarrassingly.
"For these last couple of months, yes."
Woomin snorted. "Ha! Bottom feeder."
Your eye twitched. "You still live with your parents. I don't even want to hear it." Woomin immediately ceased his laughter and scowled, looking down at his hands.
"Moving on," Woomin transitioned, "how has it been with that . . . Boongi was it?"
Your lip curled in annoyance. "His name is Yoongi, Woomin," you sighed while placing a hand on your face.
"Ain't that what I said?" You bit back the urge to slap him Will Smith style.
"No, you whore."
"Fuck you."
"Anyway!" you exclaimed in a raised voice in an attempt to change the subject. "What do you want to know?"
Woomin placed his hand on his chin and turned away from you for a few painfully silent moments before facing you once more. "Have y'all had sex yet?"
Your face burned red. "What the fuck, Woomin? No!"
Woomin visibly relaxed at that awkward confession from you and lowered his arms. You cocked your head in confusion when he sighed in relief. "Good. You're too young to be doing such a thing anyway."
"I'm twenty-seven and older than you."
"Shut up; you're a literal toddler." You rolled your eyes and allowed your head to fall back against the couch pillows.
"He's so amazing, Woomin," you sighed in a softer voice than the previous. "He's a dick, yes, but he's also so sweet at the exact same time. How is that even possible?" Woomin shifted around uncomfortably.
"Has he kissed you . . . Yet," Woomin asked in a quieter tone, the "yet" being said a heartbeat after the rest of the sentence. You blushed and played with your hands nervously before nodding. Woomin sharply sucked in a breath.
"It's obvious it wasn't his first time kissing or doing anything, but I find myself to not care. He's with me now, and past partners do not matter to me."
"Well, it should." Your head snapped up.
"Excuse me?"
Woomin crossed his arms. "What if he had someone he loved before you? What if he compares you to them and you don't even know it?"
Your furrowed your eyebrows. "Well, I'm going to choose to trust that he's not doing any of that in the case of any of what you just said is true. I don't feel the need to be insecure and jealous about some person that may or may not be real."
"I'm just saying—"
"No, Woomin! Don't say things like that because it might manifest something evil. Words are powerful."
"Y/N—"
"No, Woomin."
The two of you sat in awkward silence for a few moments before Woomin let out a long sigh. "Alright, I give in. I'm sorry, Y/N."
Your face softened and you relaxed back into the couch. "I accept your apology. But don't say stuff like that ever again, okay?" Woomin nodded and laid down on your lap. Your hands automatically found their way in his hair.
"Will you tell me about your first kiss with him?" Woomin spoke up after a bit of comfortable silence. A small smile spread across your face.
"Yoongi's an asshole. Like, a ginormous one. But he's also extremely sweet. He's what the Japanese call a 'tsundere'. He acts like he's some bigshot when in reality, he's a total kitten and a cuddle bug.
"Yoongi took me on a date a couple days ago; he took me on a run. It was amazing, Woomin.
". . . Rogues chased us. I've never had to run so fast in my life."
You continued to recount your story to your best friend. He was listening as attentively as always. That's one thing you really loved about Woomin—he'd listen to you ramble about BTS or anyone and anything without so much as a whine. You valued feeling important, and he always made you feel as such.
"Even though Yoongi is a runaway, I feel safe around him. I have no doubt that if his crazy parents came after us, he'd protect me. I—"
"Wait, what?"
"Hush, Woomin, I'm almost done. He's so strong—"
"Y/N, is Yoongi that runaway alpha's son? From the Daegu Timber Wolves?" Woomin cut in, astounded. You looked at him annoyedly.
"Isn't that what I just said? Anyway—" You abruptly cut yourself off. What the hell did you just say?! "Holy shit!" you yelled as your launched yourself off the couch, causing Woomin to fall to the floor.
"Shit, Y/N!" Woomin cursed as he cradled his head on the floor.
"Woomin, please forget everything I just told you!" you begged desperately to your best friend. "I wasn't supposed to tell anyone! It was an accident! Oh, Yoongi's going to hate me to much!" Tears began to pool in your eyes and flow out. How could you be so careless?
"Y/N, calm down," said Woomin as he climbed off the floor. "I'm not going to tell anyone, you know."
"I know you won't tell anyone, but I just broke Yoongi's trust! I just broke my mate's trust, and he's never going to forgive me for it! He's going to leave me!"
"Woah, woah, woah, Y/N," Woomin cut in, his hands waving out in front of him in an attempt to stop your panic-y monologue of self-hatred. "Didn't you just tell me that you're not going to let yourself be insecure? If Yoongi truly likes you, then he's going to forgive you and move on. It's as simple as that."
You sniffled and wiped your cheeks to remove the salty tears. "You really think so?"
"I know so. He might be a bit disappointed, but he's not going to stay mad for long." You stared a Woomin for a few seconds longer to se if he was being truthful before you made yourself relax back into the couch.
"You're right," you sighed. "I need to have more faith in my mate."
"Y/N?"
You jumped in surprise at the sudden presence of Yoongi in your mind.
"Y-Yes?" you stuttered.
"You're upset. What's wrong?"
You began to chew on your bottom lip nervously, which Woomin quickly took notice of and promptly shut it down. "None of that, Y/N," Woomin commanded. "Your yes grew hazy. You're talking to Yoongi, right?" You nodded. "Then put your big girl panties on and be strong!"
"Pup? What's going on?"
"I'm going to talk to him in my room, okay?" you said as you rose from the couch. Woomin nodded and you quickly made your exit.
"Yoongi?" you questioned in your mind cautiously as you sat down on your bed.
"I'm still here, baby," Yoongi answered. You bit your bottom lip. "You seem sad and guilty. Did something happen?"
You nodded before remembering that Yoongi couldn't see you. "I messed up, Yoongi," you said. Fear was beginning to creep its way into you. "You're going to be mad, I can already tell. I'm sorry, Yoongi!"
"Now, now," Yoongi cut in, "allow me to make that jurisdiction, okay? It can't be as bad as you think it is."
"I told Woomin that you're the runaway alpha's son!"
Silence.
"I'm so sorry, Yoongi! It was on accident! I was bragging to him about how much I like you and it just slipped out!"
No response.
Tears began to run its course once again. "I-I'm so sorry, Yoongi," you forced out through your mind. "Forgive me. Don't leave me, please!"
"Now why would I do that?"
You sniffled. "Huh?"
"I'm not going to leave you just because you made a mistake, pup," Yoongi explained with a soft voice playing through your mind. "Woomin is trustable, yes?"
"O-Oh, yes! Woomin won't tell a soul, I promise!"
"Alright then. I believe you." If you weren't sitting, you'd collapse to your knees in relief.
"Thank you, Yoongi!" you thanked profusely. "Thank you for forgiving me!"
"None of that, pup," Yoongi shook off. "Just make sure you don't tell anybody else about who I used to be, okay?"
You frantically nodded. "Yes, I promise!"
You and Yoongi mind linked for a few more moments before Yoongi had to get back to work. With his presence out of your mind, you allowed exhaustion to take over and fell back on your bed, sleep beginning to creep into your field of vision. You were faintly aware of Woomin in the next room over, but you knew he'd be fine by himself for a few hours. And with that, sleep wont the battle and you fell into slumber.
