Mikey grabs onto the rallening at the lat minute. Tigerclaw smirks and exstands his claws. He then digs his claws into Mikey's hands. Mikey let's out a cry of pain.

"Your useless" Tigerclaw snares as he digs his claws into Mikey's hands.

Tears stream down Mikey's face.

"I am useless" Mikey thought helplessly.

Shinigami suddenly kicks Tigerclaw away from Mikey. Shinigami looks at Mikey and grabs his bleeding hand.

"Give me your other hand !" Shinigami tells Mikey as she tries to pull him up.

"I'm useless" Mikey mutters.

Shinigami studies his face. He looked to be in mental pain. She feels Mikey lossen his grip.

"What are you doing?!" Shinigami shouts. 

"I'm useless" Mikey mutters.

"Listen to me I can help you all you need is to grab my hand" Shinigami tells Mikey.

Mikey looks at her with tears in her eyes.

"Please take my hand" Shinigami begs.

Mikey reaches his hand and grabs Shinigami's hand. She pulls him up.

Raven runs over to them.

"Shinigami is the Kappa okay ?" Raven asked.

"Raven why aren't you with the others ?" Shinigami asked.

"I had to make sure you were okay" Raven said.

"Okay both of you grab onto me" Shinigami said.

Mikey and Raven grab onto Shinigami and smoke appears. Then they were gone. The next thing Mikey knew he was back on the rooftop.

Then there's a explosion at ACE Chemicals that was a few rooftops away.

"Whoa !" Mikey said.

"His hands are bleeding!" Raven said as she points to Mikey's bleeding hands.

"It's going to be okay I'll tend to your injuries" Shinigami said.

"I got the bandages!" Raven said as she holds up a roll of bandages.

Shinigami leads Mikey on the ledge and sits him down. She begins to wrap his hands in bandages.

"So what's your name?" Shinigami asked.

"My name is Mikey" Mikey said.

"I'm Shinigami" Shinigami said with a smile.

"Thanks for saving me" Mikey said.

"Why did you try to let go?" Shinigami asked concerned.

"I just felt helpless" Mikey admits.

"I know the feeling" Shinigami said.

Mikey looks at Shinigami.

"Let me introduce the gang, I'm Raven, That's Jaded, Big W, Maya and the Twins Hide and seek" Raven said.

"It's nice to meet you guys" Mikey said.

"Shinigami we have to go" Maya said.

"Do you have anywhere to stay ?" Shinigami asked.

"Actually I been living in an alleyway" Mikey said.

"Did you run away from your family?" Raven asked.

"Yeah I ran away" Mikey admits.

"I can relate I ran away from my abusive step father" Jaded said.

"We're you abused?" Maya asked concerned.

"No I wasn't abused but my older brother did bully me" Mikey admits.

"Hey you can with us !" Raven said cheerfully.

"Yeah come with us" Shinigami said.

"Sure it'll be better than the alleyway" Mikey said.

"Come on let's go to Raven's mom house" Shinigami said.

"Wait won't your mom will freak out that I a mutant?" Mikey asked.

"Don't worry she's blind" Raven said
