Chapter 5
Percy
He didn't feel well. In fact, when did he ever feel well?
He groaned as he opened his eyes, back in the same white room.
I have to get out of here.
Percy struggled with the tight shackles on his hands and feet that were clanged onto the bed. He yelled in frustration.
Don't these people understand? They are in danger!
Percy laid his head back, praying to the gods he'll get out of here. His prayer was answered as Steve Rogers entered the room, crossing his arms. He closed the door behind him, then casually leaned onto the wall.
Percy squinted at the well built guy leaning on the wall, which in a way angered him.
"Perseus Jackson?" Steve broke the silence.
"Last time I checked I believe that is my name." Percy said in clenched teeth, looking at the ceiling.
"You do realize that you're a terrorist now, right?" Steve raised an eyebrow.
"What?" Percy looked at Steve.
"School blowups, a standoff with a guy using a gun, explosion in the Gateway Arch, and the list goes on."
I was saving people! This is outrageous. A terrorist?
"When Tony found you, he helped. Unfortunately he found out you were the most wanted terrorist after you left with Thor." Steve chuckled. "Now we have you in custody."
"Listen big guy, I have to go. If I don't so many bad things can happen right now." Percy complained, once again trying to get released from the shackles.
"Bad things can happen if we let you go. So you're staying here." Steve shrugged.
Percy let out another yell of frustration. The whole point of leaving Camp was to not be a danger. Now here he was, stuck in gods knows where with a really well built guy.
"I'll be back." Steve got off the wall and left the room.
Suddenly, crashes were heard from outside the door, and yells. He heard grunts and more crashes, which made Percy uneasy.
Nyx was coming for him, and if he didn't leave, these guys in this place could get hurt. He didn't need that right now.
"Where is he?!?" A yell came from outside.
"Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit." Percy tugged at his cuffs, tugging harder and harder until his hands began to bleed.
The crashes became louder and the door knob began to turn vigorously.
"Come on. Come on. Come on!" Percy yelled as his hands began to gush out more blood.
Suddenly, an explosion went off, the door flew across the room, hitting the wall.
Percy ducked, his ears ringing. In his moment of deafness, his other senses began on point. He quickly looked through the debris to find Tony Stark there in his metal man suit, and behind him was the big guy laying on the floor.
"Tony?" Percy whispered as his hearing began clearer, the ringing has ceased.
But when Tony looked at Percy straight in the eyes, he noticed the sharp yellow eyes that took over Tony's brown ones.
Eidolon. He should have known something like this would have happened.
"Percy Jackson. You're coming with me." Tony said in his metal suit, stretching his hand out.
A light beam shot out, and Percy closed his eyes. But when he opened them, he noticed the light beam went towards the shackles.
He was free. But his hands were bleeding badly, which would slow him down. He didn't have time to pick up Riptide as Iron Man snatched him.
He heard a groan from Steve Rogers. Iron man turned around, with Percy now at his mercy.
"Tony, what are you doing?" Steve groaned on the floor.
"Something I should have done long ago." The Eidolon replied.
"He's not himself! A ghost possessed him!" Percy quickly shouted, which made Iron Man throw him on the floor. Percy groaned.
"Shut your mouth, Perseus. Don't want to get an even bigger punishment now do you?" The Eidolon laughed wickedly.
"JARVIS, send code red to the rest of the Avengers!" Steve quickly yelled.
Percy didn't see anyone around him, which made him confused. But suddenly, there was a reply from the ceiling.
"Yes, sir."
Percy jumped, and looked at the ceiling.
"Time to go." Iron Man picked him up, and began walking out of the room, stepping on Steve for good measures.
Steve groaned. But suddenly, a girl with red hair stepped into the room.
"Put the boy down, Tony." The girl said in a serious tone, watching his every moves.
"Look, lady, I have one job and you're just wasting my time. Get out of the way." The Eidolon responded.
"Guess we have to take it the hard way." The girl sighed then picked up two guns from her hip pocket.
"Wait! Tony's not himself. Kid says someone is possessing him." Steve slowly got up, clutching his sides.
"I have a name." Percy groaned as the metal man's grip tightened.
Iron man put out his hand, then blasted it towards the lady. She dodged and rolled behind a flipped table. While the Eidolon was distracted with the red haired lady, Steve took the opportunity to go from behind.
"Get off you puny mortal!" The Eidolon roared as Steve clung around it's neck.
The metal prevented Steve from literally choking Tony, but they had to come to a quick plan.
"Steve! The light source!" The lady yelled from behind the table, the Iron Man still shooting light beams toward her.
The lady pulled out the gun and fired some shots, one nearly piercing Percy's arm.
"I'm still here you know!" Percy shouted.
Steve tightened his arm around Iron Man's neck, then used his other hand to push the laser beamed arms down.
The lady continued shooting, but the bullets only bounced off of the suit.
"Get off!" The Eidolon yelled and shook it's armor.
A single shot rang out, and suddenly all of Tony's actions seized. The lady sighed and got up from her hiding spot. Steve got off of the suit and watched as the suit fell limp on the floor. The light source coming from Tony's chest dimmed and the bullet was still stuck inside.
"Let's get him a new one. Meanwhile, let's strap him into a chair." Steve suggested.
"Still here." Percy groaned from the floor.
"Right. Natasha, by the way." The red haired lady held out her hand.
Percy grabbed her hand. "Percy."
"Now let's strap the crazy man to a chair." Natasha helped Steve pick up the heavy Tony and hauled him into the bed Percy once was laid on.
"I'll get Pepper to get a new light sourced one and figure out from there." Natasha said before leaving the room.
"Can I use the bathroom?" Percy suddenly asked. He needed water desperately.
"But you're a prisoner. How do I know if you're trying to escape? We don't have cameras in bathrooms." Steve raised his eyebrow.
"Listen tough guy, just because I'm a prisoner doesn't mean I can't use the bathroom. And also, ew. Don't put cameras in bathrooms." Percy shuddered.
"I'm standing outside the door. You try sneaking out, you'll regret it." Steve said as he lead Percy to the bathroom.
"Five minutes before I'm barging in." Steve announced as he opened the door of the bathroom for Percy.
"Well that would be weird, wouldn't it? Like, what if I'm using the bathroom and all of a sudden you barge in." Percy shuddered.
"Time's ticking, kid." Steve crossed his arms.
"I have a name." Percy growled before entering the bathroom.
He slammed it shut and locked the door. He turned around, and the bathroom was enormous. A silver shiny toilet sparkled the room. The walls were colored with yellow walls and small sparks of glitter. Then there was the large mirror next to the large enough sink. Percy looked at his reflection.
He was hollow and pale. He walked up to the sink and turned it on. Water sprouted and Percy smiled. He thanked his dad before closing the sink drain and allowed the water to pool up. After the sink was filled with water, Percy turned off the water. He sighed then dunked his head into the water.
Immediately, Percy felt much better. He had more energy than before, and felt as if he could run a mile. He took his head out of the water and shook his head, water spraying everywhere. He dunked his arm in and allowed the water to heal his cuts and bruises. The tight grip from Iron Man had formed bruises. He then lifted his shirt and took it off. He winced when he saw all of the scars and cuts formed along his abdomen.
He then proceeded to take a handful of water and just spray it all over himself. He sighed in content as he felt more refreshed. His color was back to normal, and he thanked his dad once more.
Suddenly, a large crash echoed in the bathroom, and he turned around. He saw Steve on the floor on the door. Percy freaked and quickly put on his shirt. He walked up to Steve and held out his hand.
Steve groaned and looked up. He hesitantly took Percy's hand and Percy lifted him up.
"Didn't run." Percy grinned.
"Yeah, okay." Steve groaned and wiped the non-existent dust on his clothes.
"Good luck replacing the door." Percy stated as he walked out of the bathroom.
"Oh, don't worry. When in Stark Towers, anything can be replaced. That door was nothing." Steve shook his head and walked with Percy.
Suddenly, loud yells and groans came from the white room Tony Stark was strapped on. Steve and Percy looked at each other then broke into a sprint towards the room.
How are we going to solve this problem? If only Piper was here.
Percy sighed as he ran.
