Chapter 9
Hannah's POV~
After a few month of staying with Balthazar I go tired. I decided it was time to change my look and go back out. "Hey Balthazar, I'm going to change my look and move on now, I think I have risked your life long enough" I said to him as I grabbed my coat off the rack. "Okay sweet, have fun out there" Balthazar said and he walked off. The 'sweet' hurt, since that was what Gabriel called me and it had now at least been six months since I last saw him. I left and I walked back to that same strip mall from a few months ago. I walked into the same salon, lucky for me the woman in there was different. "Hello, I don't have an appointment but I was wondering if I could still have my hair done?" I asked her. "Of course, if you could please follow me" She said.
I followed her and she sat me down in a chair. She started with removing my current color and dying it a different color. Which she then cut shorter, gave me bangs that ended at my eyebrows, and curled it, permanently. When she was done she showed me.
My hair was now unnatural red with streaks of neon red. It was very heavily curled.
I smiled at my new look. "Thank you" I said to her. I payed and left. I went back into the tattoo store. Cas would recognize the one I had now. "Do you remove tattoos?" I asked him. "Yes we do" He told me. "Okay, I would like these two removed and I would like to get wings on my back" I told him. "I'll see what we can do" He said. I brought me over to a place to lay down and he started with the wings, which took a good couple hours to do. He then found dye that was slightly different from my skin tone. He covered the two the best he could, since tattoos are usually removed with surgery, but I didn't have that kind of time. I thanked the man and payed.
Now, it looked as if wings had grown out of my shoulder blades. But still stuck to my skin.
I walked out of the parlor and standing in the middle of the strip mall was an angel, but not just any angel, it was Castiel, again. I pretended not to see him, but it didn't work, since he could see though my vessel. He ran towards me and I bolted into the forest nearby. He followed me in and I hid behind a tree. He ran past me and after a few minutes I walked off, except that was what he was waiting for and he jumped me. He had me on the ground again. pinning me with one hand and holding his angel blade against my neck with the other. "Please Castiel, I know you, you don't want to do this. Please just let me go" I said to him. I let out a fake sob. "You are right Hannah, I don't want to kill you, but I must. Michael has ordered me to do so. I can not disobey direct orders from him" Castiel said to me. "Please Castiel" I said, still trying to guilt trip him into letting me go. "I can't Hannah, you must understand that" Castiel said.
I could feel his grip loosening. I took my chance and threw him off of me, since he wasn't prepared for it. He landed a few feet away and I ran for my life again. I ran back out to the strip mall, I thought just maybe someone would call the cops or something and they would distract him long enough for me to get away. Although I had forgotten to take into account, it was a Wednesday, and the strip mall wasn't even busy on a Sunday. There was no one there. I stopped in the center and pulled my blade out of my pocket. I heard the sound of wings and I turned around to see Castiel standing there. "I know you don't want to do this Castiel" I said to him. "I'm so sorry" Castiel said to me and he threw his blade at me. I teleported out of there before the blade hit so I was unharmed.
I looked around at the new place and realized, I was home again. Or at least at my old human home, from when I was little and my human mother was still alive. There were currently people living in the house so I walked down the street to the nearby motel, so I could spend the night and rest a bit.
