Chapter 5
Hannah's POV~
I spent the whole night out on Balthazar's porch while he was inside drinking, as always. I knew I wouldn't be able to stay here long. I wouldn't be able to stay anywhere more than a night. It then occurred to me that if I changed my look I may be able to stay longer. I mean the angels would still be able to see my halo, but they might not realize it we me right away. I got up right as the sun started rise over the trees. I decided to stay and watch it.
I went in about sevenish. "I'm going out" I told Balthazar as I walked towards the door. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, where do you think you are going?" Balthazar asked me grabbing my arm. "Look if I want to stay in one place for more than a few hours I'm going to need to change how I look, completely. They wouldn't expect to find me looking like they style I hate." I told him. "That is bloody brilliant" He said letting go of my arm. "I think I might be able to find you a stylist near by" Balthazar said and he was gone. A few seconds later he was back. "I found a little strip mall a few miles away, it's got everything you will need to change" Balthazar told me. "Sweet! Thanks Balthy" I said to him. I turned to leave. "And don't think that you are going alone, I'm coming with, you never know when Michael's minions may show up" Balthazar said. "Fine, and I don't even know where it is anyways" I said to him. He grinned putting his hand on my shoulder and we disappeared.
We re-appeared in front of a hair salon. "This will work" I said. I walked in. "Hello, I don't have an appointment, could I still have my hair done, it's a bit of an emergency" I said to the woman at the desk. "Yes sweety, right this way" She said with a warm smile. I followed her over to a chair and sat down. "What would you like?" She asked me. "Something different" I said. "And something that doesn't look like me but can last up to a year, or at least a long period of time" I told her. "I know just what to do" She said.
She started by washing my hair and drying it. When that was done she bleached it thoroughly. She grabbed some dye and put it in my hair. After at least a half hour she rinsed out the extras. My hair was bright blue. She then grabbed a pair of scissors and started to cut. She gave me some swooped bangs and made my hair layered. When she was done she turned me to face the mirror. I looked amazing. "Thank you" I said.
I payed her and left the store. right next to it was a piercing and tattoo shop. I grinned. "Perfect" I said aloud I walked in. "Hello, I would like to get a tattoo and a piercing" I told the man. "What do you want?" The man asked me. "Um, how about a small bull ring, a star on my wrist and roses on my shoulder" I said to him. "Follow me" He said. He sat me down in a chair and started off with the bull ring. It was a small black one. When that was done he started with my star, which only took a few minutes. It hurt but I could tolerate it. He then moved onto my shoulder, which hurt a bit more, but it was still bearable. When he was done he showed me.
I had long electric blur hair and a bull nose peircing. I had dark blue eyeshadow on the lower eyelid and the tone of my hair color eyeshadow on the upper eyelid. My skin tone was about three times lighter than my regular skin tone. My tattoo was two roses beside each other.
I looked pretty awesome. I payed him and left. I couldn't see Balthazar anywhere and I was starting to think Michael's minions had shown up, but then he came out of the nearby liquor store. I rolled my eyes at him. "I should probably be moving on now, see you soon I guess" I said to Balthazar, "Yeah, soon" He said looking me up and down. "Well I did say I wanted a makeover" I said to him. "Bloody hell, you look different" He said, stating the obvious. "No, it's not like I just went in there to change my looks or anything" I said to him. "Whatever" He said. "I going to move on now, see you Balthy" I said and I disappeared.
