Luke's POV

''wow'' kira said 

''she's not herself when you lose a mate like that it changes them their darkness takes over its not the amri we know and the only happiness she has is those boys we are not enough'' i said 

''i hope that's what it is'' kira said

''no i hope not when a caster's dark side takes over in our family it's never good look at what happened with my dad's sister'' i said and i sighed.

''so we could lost amri forever'' andrew said 

''we won't i need to stop my dad first'' i said 

I transported to adam's house and saw them cleaning up.

''amri?'' i said 

''yup'' elijah said 

''she seemed angry very very angry she almost killed her'' tyler said 

''i would kill too if it was my mate and if it was in front on my children'' i said 

''look im here cause adam isn't safe my father is furious and he doesn't hesitate'' i said and we heard banging upstairs and we all ran up there and we saw my dad with adam's neck in his hand.

''how dare you break that vow you said'' dad said 

''im sorry'' adam said

''dad let him go'' i said and dad looked at me.

''he hurt your sister luke and he has no idea what's about to come'' dad said 

''what?'' tyler said and me dad let him go and adam gasped for air.

''my sister's darkness took over her but she had the love of her life with her amri without that love its more darkness then my sister ever had and soon enough damon and riley won't be enough light in her anymore'' dad said 

''you have no idea what you have just done'' dad said

''especially since the powers we discovered'' i said 

''especially with those'' he said and i sighed.

''how do we get the light back in her before it's too late'' i said 

''there is no other way luke she has to be put down do you see why im so angry'' dad said 

''this is all your fault'' i said and looked at adam and i put my hand up and broke his bones.

''I JUST GOT HER BACK!!!!!'' i yelled and i broke more of his bones as he screamed.

''you deserve the pain of not seeing your kids'' i said and i let go and i grabbed my dad and transported back home. 

''what happened'' kira said

My dad walked upstairs and i sat down.

''there's no saving her'' i said and looked down.

''losing a mate for a grimaldi its worse darkness then what my dad's sister had and soon damon and riley won't be enough to keep the darkness out'' i said and i put my head in my hands.

''what no that no'' andrew said

''there has to be something we can do to save her'' kira said 

''there isn't'' i said and i went upstairs and i looked at her looking at the boys.

''luke'' amri said 

''hey'' i said 

''how are you holding up'' i said

''i heard everything'' she said 

''wolf hearing'' she said and chuckled.

''amri'' i said and sighed and sat next to her and i saw tears come down her face.

''i don't want to let it take over'' she said and i hugged her.

''i know'' i said

''you need to fight as long as you can'' i said

''you need to take the boys far away from me'' she said

''what no they are the only thing keeping you sane'' i said

''and i have them in my heart luke but i want them far away from me when i am gone'' she said 

''please do this'' she said 

''i would never forgive myself if something happened to them because of me'' she said 

''okay'' i said 

''thank you'' she said and she kissed their foreheads.

I took them down to kira and andrew and explained to them and they took the boys to jinwood with henry.

I walked back upstairs with amri and i hugged her.

''are they safe'' she said

''yes'' i said

''good don't tell me where they are'' she said and i nodded.

''im scared luke'' she said 

''me too'' i said 

''i just got you back'' i said and we sat down.

''funny how i came back to life to protect them and now im a danger to them because adam decided to cheat'' she said then i saw the light in her eyes disappear and they turned black. Pitch black. 

''amri?'' i said 

''where are the boys'' she said and smiled

''i can't tell you'' i said and she grabbed my neck and started choking me.

''i said where are damon and riley'' she said and i grabbed her face and i felt pain transfer to me and she threw me off and i got up.

''luke i am so sorry'' she said and i saw her eyes turn back to normal.

''i know how to save you'' i said 

''what'' she said

''when i touched you i took away your pain i guess we can do it even if its emotional'' i said 

''luke no'' she said 

''amri if i can take it all away i can save you'' i said 

''it can kill you it is way too much pain'' she said 

''i have to try'' i said 

''no'' she said 

''not if it will kill you'' she said

''there could be no bringing you back'' she said 

''she's right son'' dad said coming in.

''i need to say my goodbyes and end it'' she said 

''no!'' i said 

''i will not hurt anyone i love like dad's sister'' she said 

''it's okay luke'' she said and smiled

''i can do this'' she said and she walked out of the room.

''dad we can't'' i said

''she has to make her own choices'' he said and he walked out and i looked down.
