Amri's POV

I woke up next to adam and i got up and went to the boys nursery. 

I grabbed their blankets and i sat down and i realized they are probably thousands of miles away from me. No where near me so i can hug them again or sing them a lullaby.

Not be able to smell the baby lotion on their skin when i hold them. See their little smiles when they get tickled or when they see me and adam. I started crying and i held their blankets and i smelled their scent but it was faint...

''amri?'' adam said and i turned around and wiped my tears. 

''oh um'' i said and got up. 

''sorry i thought you were sleeping still'' i said and sniffed and he hugged me. 

''i miss them too.'' he said and i sighed.

''today is their funeral the guards have everything set up along with the help of the boys, elijah, tyler, and maddy'' he said and i nodded. 

''i need some air.'' i said and i put their blankets down and i went downstairs and went outside. 

Right when i walked outside my head was covered and my hands were thrown behind my back and then i was knocked out. 

I woke up with the sound of ringing in my ears and i slowly opened up my eyes and saw everything blurry. Within a few seconds of blinking everything became clear. I looked around and i tried to get up and i realized my hands and legs were chained. I tried to use my magic but it wasn't working. 

''magic don't work with those chains on and you feel weak cause they pumped enough wolfsbane in you to take down an entire pack and somehow you are still alive'' he said and i looked at him.

''who are you'' i said 

''i could ask you that same question'' he said 

''i asked first'' i said 

''always this stubborn?'' he said 

''always this annoying?'' i said 

''fair'' he said 

''my name is kai parker'' he said 

''amri grimaldi clarke'' i said 

''grimaldi?'' he said and i nodded.

''stevens daughter?'' he said and i nodded

''how is steven'' he said and smiled

''how did you know he was alive'' i said

''what do you mean?'' he said 

''he died almost nineteen years ago'' i said 

''then what do you mean how did i know he was alive'' he said 

''i brought him back to life with a spell'' i said and i looked at him.

''wait'' i said 

''you are acting like you don't know me but you knew i was a witch and a werewolf'' i said 

''smart'' he said 

''is your name really kai'' i said 

''yes just wanted to see if you could catch on'' he said 

''how long have you really been down here'' i said

''about half a year im guessing'' he said 

''what is this place'' i said 

''it is a torture place some people call it the devil's place because no one makes it out alive and they get tortured'' he said 

''tortured?'' i said 

''i personally think torture is an understatement'' he said 

''these doctors they open you up and cut into you like no ones business all while you are awake and when you heal again they do it all over again'' he said and i looked down. 

''its more pain than anything'' he said 

''how are you still alive'' i said 

''i have something im fighting for'' he said 

''may i ask what is it?'' i said and he nodded.

''my daughter'' he said and smiled.

''you have kids'' i said and he nodded

''just one beautiful baby girl'' he said and chuckled.

''where is she'' i said 

''safe with people i trusted'' he said 

''i knew someone was after me her mother died in an accident before i was taken she's a baby she was three months so she didn't know her mom and now she will never know me'' he said and looked down. 

''hey we are gonna get out of here'' i said and he shook his head.

''i've tried everything'' he said and i got up.

''i've been consuming wolfsbane in my coffee since i was sixteen no one knows and i don't ever talk about it because well if someone knew they would drain my blood of it'' i said 

''bad ass'' he said 

''anyways when you have wolfsbane in your system'' i said and grabbed the chains and i pulled them out of the wall. 

''putting in even more wont do anything if your strong even with it'' i said and i ripped them off. I grabbed his chains and i ripped his off and then an alarm went off. 

''they are coming'' he said and i heard the fear in is voice. I grabbed him and i did the protection spell.

''what did you do to me'' he said 

''protection spell don't worry you will be safe'' i said and i helped him up and he groaned in pain.

''before you woke up they had just brought me back with fresh wounds'' he said 

''how do we get out of here'' i said and he sighed.

''i have no idea.'' he said and i sat him down. I heard guards coming and i took a deep breath and i shifted into my caster and i grabbed kai and i transported to my old room at hybrid pack. He threw up. 

''that was unsettling'' he said and i waved my hand and sound proofed the room. 

''stay here dont move'' i said and he nodded

I transported back and i walked the hallways and i heard guards coming and i smiled. 

''this should be fun'' i said and smiled and i grew a fire ball and threw it at them and then i started fighting with the other guards. 

I threw one to the wall and kicked and punched the other then i felt a sting in my neck.

''you are one tough cookie'' he said and i growled.

I lifted up my hand and used my magic to rip out his heart and then everything went black.

I woke up and i was strapped into a chair and i growled. 

''growl all you want your magic don't work with those cuffs and i doubt we will mistake your strength again'' he said and smiled 

I tried to link someone but it wasn't working. He grabbed the scissors and cut my shirt up to my sternum and he grabbed a scalpel.

''why are you doing this'' i said 

''because i am a scientist.'' he said and smiled

''and we need to learn everything about witches hybrids vampires and werewolves'' he said and smiled and he marked the spot and i tried to get out of the cuffs and i looked at him.

''why me'' i said 

''because she wanted you dead and now since we got to skip that part and go straight to killing you'' he said and smiled

''maybe we will go after your mate'' he said and smiled and sliced into my stomach and i screamed. I felt every move of the blade and it hurt even more when he did another cut. 

''and between us'' he said and bent down.

''i think the death should be spectacular'' he said and i sat up just enough and grew my fangs and bit his ear off and he screamed. 

''between us i think you should stay the hell away from my family'' i said and he walked out of the room.........
