Amri's POV

~2 MONTHS LATER~

These past couple months we have had about ten other people try and kill me and luke we knew we were a target but every one who came was clueless of what their parents or other family did and they were all vampires. Werewolves knew everything by now the casters knew as well and they acted on the treaty more hybrids came out of hiding especially packs of them they came to light and more hybrid councils were made every where we were coming to an agreement. The treaty was enforced too people who have murdered a hybrid or innocent blood was hit was a sentence or killed. 

It was more easy for our hybrids to go out and be in the world without being scared. Ken of course passed away jinwood prayed for their fallen alpha but henry took over and my mom well she hates me for killing him we argued and she said horrible things about my real dad and so i left her with a parting gift too. She ruined my life so i left her to watch ken die a faster death. 

Me and andrew came back to school and finished all the work we needed done and we were finally caught up. 

''hey amri did you hear theres new kids in town'' andrew said walking up to me. 

''who'' i said and we walked to the cafeteria. 

''i had one of them for first the other two i haven't met'' he said 

''where are they from'' i said 

''all the way from texas'' he said 

''why the hell would they come here'' i said and chuckled

''who knows'' he said and we sat down and i sighed.

''remind me again why i decided to come back to school'' i said 

''because you wanted to graduate'' he said and chuckled

''now remind me why you are here with me'' i said and laughed

''because you are my best friend and we get through this dreadful time together'' he said and laughed 

''well thank you for sticking through this painful time with me'' i said and smiled

We got up and went in line to get food.

''so the pack is getting bigger soon someone is going to have to be alpha'' he said 

''i feel like it should be tony he has done so much to help the hybrids'' i said 

''are you kidding you have too'' he said 

''yeah i know but i just i can't be alpha thats the whole reason i left jinwood i knew one day they would bring in guys and i would meet my mate and i was ready for a mate but not ready to be an alpha'' i said 

''it seemed so opposite to be honest'' he said and i nodded

''exactly i was supposed to just meet my mate and be happy henry was the runner up thats why i gave it to him i mean look at him now his crush for me is gone he has a mate and she's pregnant'' i said and he laughed

''it was so quick'' he said

''exactly and now that everything has happened from the day i left till now i am just not ready for kids and especially a damn mate'' i said and sighed 

''why not a mate'' he said 

''because i don't want to have feelings look at what happened with levi'' i said 

''yeah but he isn't your mate you could feel different'' he said and we walked back to the table and sat down.

''i don't know just the thought of being with someone just isn't in my mind right now and if it happens then i don't know what im going to do i just know right now kids and all that is not what i want it always happens so quick with a mate'' i said 

''well you don't have to amri you are different'' he said 

''yeah but what if that's what my mate wants then i have to deal with that whole ordeal'' i said 

''you are just a box full of surprises your mate has one hell of a challenge'' he said and chuckled 

''whatever i mean i just i don't know until i-'' i stopped and this scent hit my nose like a truck. 

I looked around and i sniffed again and the scent of chocolate covered strawberries and pine hit my nose.

''do you smell that'' i said 

''smell what the disgusting food'' he said and chuckled 

''no it smells so good'' i said and i got up and i walkedout of the cafeteria looking for where it was coming from and i ran into someone and fell down and i looked up and our eyes met and flashed. 

''mate'' we said
