Amri's POV 

I ended up getting home at four in the morning and everything felt so much better the feeling was gone and i got sleep. Only thing is i woke up at three in the afternoon. Whoops. 

I got up and got in the shower and got dressed.

I went downstairs and i saw everyone having lunch some were outside sparring and some were in the living room. 

''hey amri you look rough'' tony said and i rolled my eyes.

''i will make you look rough don't try me'' i said and he laughed 

''hey'' kira said walking in.

''did you just wake up?'' she said and i nodded

''well thats new'' she said 

''i left last night i didn't come back till four'' i said 

''why!'' she said 

''i was eating ice cream with kevin'' i said 

''did you know hes a caster?'' i said 

''what!'' she said 

''my reaction too'' i said 

''he heard about everything that happened yesterday looks like word is spreading but i knew it would spread quickly in the caster community spirits are every where it might take the vampires a little longer than everyone else i mean werewolves have links vampires have uh fangs'' i said and looked at levi. 

''watch it'' he said and laughed

''sorry'' i said and chuckled

''so i am going out today'' i said 

''where?'' kira said 

''i have not been anywhere but here and now the ice cream shop and i think we should get back to school'' i said

''gross'' kira said 

''what i actually wanted to graduate'' i said and smiled 

''fine you go back to school'' she said 

''i will ya ass'' i said and smiled I grabbed my keys. 

''ill go with you'' andrew said and we got in the car and drove to the school to pick up all the work we have missed. We talked to our teachers and got everything in order. 

''well that was easy'' i said and we got in the car.

''yeah we just have to go through a shit load of work'' he said and i chuckled.

''you wanna go to kilo's pizza?'' i said 

''hell yeah lets get some of this work done'' he said 

I drove to kilo's and we got in and sat down and ordered pizza and studied and finished some work together. 

''what the fuck is this we never learned this!'' andrew said 

''andrew we have been gone for a month'' i said and chuckled

''oh'' he said 

''right'' he said and i laughed. 

When we ate and finished some assignments and then we went home. 

''hey how did it go'' kira said 

''well we have shit loads of assignments but we go back monday'' i said and smiled 

''well im glad you are happy about it'' kira said and chuckled

''so i am going upstairs and locking myself up and finishing everything so do you need anything before i do that'' i said 

''nope we can handle everything down here you and andrew can catch up'' kira said 

''ah hell no i did enough work'' andrew said and laughed

''yup im the only one who wants it this bad'' i said and chuckled and i took my work upstairs and it took me hours just to finish. 

''i need a fucking break'' i said and sighed and layed down and i heard something and shot right back up. 

''who's there?'' i said i heard someone zipping around my room and i knew it was a vampire. 

''levi stop messing around.'' i said and got up and i felt a hand go inside my chest and i looked up and i saw someone i didn't recognize and i started making him have an brain aneurysm and he let go and i healed myself. 

''who are you'' i growled

He stayed silent and i started breaking his bones.

''i said who are you'' i said 

''what are you doing here and why did you attempt to kill me'' i growled

''because they told me to'' he yelled in pain and kira, levi, and andrew rushed in. 

''what's going on'' levi said 

''he tried to rip my heart out'' i said 

''nick?'' levi said looking at him

''you know him?'' i said 

''he's an old friend'' levi said and i stopped my magic.

''get him in line or i will rip his heart out and feed it to him'' i said and i walked out of my room and went downstairs and i saw luke.

''what happened!'' he said 

''we need to put up a force field i don't know why i thought we would be okay if it was shut down.'' i said 

''alright lets to it'' he said and we went outside and we put the force field back up.

''so who is the dumb ass that tried to kill you'' he said 

''some vampire that levi knows'' i said and we started walking back.

''the hell is he doing here'' he said 

''i have no idea but we are gonna find out'' i said and we walked back inside and up to my room.

''so the hell is he doing here'' i said 

''his mom was one of the vampires killed off the council'' levi said 

''okay and his mother killed people did he know that'' i said 

''no he didn't thats why when he found out he was angry when i told him the story he calmed down and understood'' levi said 

''its okay i understand'' i said and luke looked at me

''what you were just mad'' he said 

''yeah and look at how mad i was at ken and he's dead now so i understand the anger'' i said 

''where is he'' i said 

''in your room'' levi said 

I walked in and he got up and i sighed.

''can i have a moment with nick'' i said 

''amri he almost killed you'' kira said 

''please'' i said and she sighed and they walked out. 

''im sorry you lost your mom'' i said 

''no your not lets be honest'' he said 

''that is honesty im sorry you were left without a mom i never said i was sorry for her death she killed innocent people'' i said 

''i know and if i knew i wouldn't have come'' he said 

''its okay i understand why you were so angry trust i know the feeling'' i said and i sat next to him.

''how'' he said and i lifted my hand up and he flinched and i chuckled.

''relax im just gonna show you'' i said and i put my hand on his face and i showed him my dad and how he died. A trick kira showed me whenever she showed me my mom's memories.

''im sorry for his death he was an amazing man'' he said 

''me too you knew him?'' i said 

''yeah met him before lola ever came into his life'' he said 

''how old are you?'' i said 

''one hundred and sixty eight'' he said and smiled 

''thats a long time'' i said and he chuckled

''yeah it is'' he said 

''what was he like?'' i said 

''a proud man he was there for everyone he was a pure soul he was one of the nicest people ive ever met the affair with your mom wasn't planned he just fell in love with her and he couldn't stop he had genuine love for her he didn't care what it took he knew the risk around the time luke was born people saw a change in him he was gone for weeks and now it all makes sense some people found out and i knew but we kept his secret'' he said 

''i wish i could have met him'' i said and a tear came down my face.

''trust me if he knew the things you did he would be so proud you and luke are the strongest grimaldi's i've ever met even though you don't know alot you are already so damn strong and that says alot'' he said 

''im sorry for almost killing you i didn't know who you were i just knew my mother was dead'' he said 

''its okay'' i said and i gave him a hug.

''you and luke should be careful theres alot more people that will come'' he said 

''we are ready we put the field back up'' i said and he nodded

''be safe and if you need anything im here i kind of owe you one for almost ripping your heart out'' he said and i chuckled

''noted'' i said and smiled and he left. 

I knew more about my dad. Everything he told me made me feel closer to him....
