I woke up, turning on my side to greet Tom. But I was alone in bed, that's when I noticed a note on my nightstand.

Come to the kitchen for a surprise!

I got up out of bed and noticed a trail of roses leading from my side into the hallway and down the steps. I had to film it because I was at a loss for words. I walked down the steps and into the living room. I had to stop and take it in. There were at least 50 heart shaped balloons scattered around the room.

I cried as Tom wrapped his arms around my waist from behind. 

"Happy Anniversary Gem Gem" He said as he kissed my head. I turned to face him and jumped into his arms. 

"I have to be the luckiest girl in the world to be loved by you." I said to him. He grabbed my hand and led me into the kitchen where more flowers and full breakfast spread was set up for us. 

"I have a late call time so I wanted to do something extra special for you in the morning." Tom said as we sat down at the table. 

"I can't believe you did all of this you must've been up for hours. Thank you so much." I said as he leaned over the table to kiss me. 

"You deserve it." Tom said. I got up from the table and ran over to the fridge.

"I was going to wait till tonight. But I totally forgot you had a late call time. Dessert for breakfast is always a vibe anyway." I said as I pulled out the cake I made for him. "Chocolate cake, vanilla icing, with just a dash of color for the pink." I said as I put the cake down on the table. Tom smiled as he stared at it and grabbed his photo to snap a picture. 

"It's perfect Gem." Tom said as he kissed me. "Just like you..you know I have a really great feeling about this year. You made it through a lot and now you're on the other side. Thank you for letting me hold your hand through it. It was an honor." Tom said as he grabbed my hand and kissed it. 

"I never believed in this. Not when I was a little girl, not even when I started dating. Fairytales didn't exist...love was conditional. But you changed it all. Tom you saved me in so many ways. So thank you for wanting to hold my hand, when so many before have dropped it when I needed it to be held the most." I said as Tom stared at me with those big blue eyes I'd become obsessed with the past 6 months. 

"I promise even when you pull away, I'll hold on tighter." Tom said as he placed a box in front of me. "Just one more present." He said as he smirked at me.

"Tom!" I said back to him.

"Open it Gemmy." He teased me as I untied the bow that was tied beautifully around the box and opened it to reveal three small diamond necklaces. There of the three being a heart. "So you know, you have my heart where ever you go...even when we're apart." He said as tears poured down my face. I was close to my ugly crying phase when Tom got up from the table and came round to my side. He wrapped his arms around me while I cried happy tears into his chest for the first time in a long time. 

"Their so beautiful." I said as he helped me put the full set around my neck. 

"They look beautiful on you." Tom said as I got up from my seat again. Tom cut us each a piece of cake while I grabbed his gift from our room. 

"I couldn't resist." I said as I handed him the small bag.

"Gemmy...you didn't have to!" Tom laughed.

"Tom look at our house right now. Look at my neck. You deserve more but this is a start." I said as he opened the bag and pulled a small box out. He recognized the box. I was hoping he would. 

"You didn't..." He said as he opened it. I smiled with a devious smirk.

"I had to ask Francis to hunt the designer down for me. So I could duplicate the exact look of them." I said as Tom pulled out a set of engraved dog tags like the set he wore in Songbirds and Snakes. 

"T&G with our birthstones. I thought it was a vibe...and more on the masculine side." I said as he put the chains round his neck.

"Best present ever. Thank you Love. I really wish I didn't have to go to set. I just want to spend the whole day in our room." Tom winked at me.

"Same...but while you're on set I have some pot stirring to do on social media. Today is book drop day and the movie announcement. I'm so nervous but SO excited at the same time. Ah." I said. 

"You should be so excited Gemmy this is your moment. I can't wait to see your story come to life on the big screen." Tom said as I showed him the Instagram post I had ready to go for the announcement the second I got the "POST IT" text from Suzanne. 

"It's perfect...wow that book cover. You look incredible. In fact...I'll need that copy for my bookshelf and nothing other than that..." He winked at me.

"I know! Suzanne sent us the first editions before the covers were done. But I can't wait to see this one in person." I said. 

"I'm proud of you for holding the snake." I said making us both laugh.

"Only because you were doing it. The fact that you have a real snake on you in this photo...you are so badass." Tom said.

"I was like why not..." I said as I ran my finger through the frosting on my piece of cake. I booped Tom on the nose with it. "I think you've got a little...." I teased as he put some on my nose to match. 

"You don't say? I think you might also...let's fix that." He said about to kiss me but I beat him to it as I licked the frosting off his nose and kissed him. We had the best anniversary morning sex ever and then it was back to business as Tom kissed me goodbye in full western attire. 

"You better come back in that too." I teased him as he playfully tipped his hat to me.

"I think we can make it happen." He said as he left. I caught a glimpse of my neck in the mirror and right next to where the heart necklace sat, as if it has been on purpose was a hickey. I shook my head laughing as I sent Tom a pic. The rest of the day was spent on the phone with Rachel, doing virtual therapy because I was really trying. And then adding in some yoga before I had a skype call with my stylist for the Hunger Games Premiere that was coming up. Once I was done with that I got a call from Suzanne. The book was live in all stores and online. 

"Posting now!" I cheered as I hung up.

Tom and I's posts were nearly breaking the internet when Suzanne called me and told me to drop some of the promo pics we shot while I was in New York, announcing the movie as well. The moment I had been waiting for...I pressed post and the there is was the start of my newest chapter.
