This book is a sequel to my first place win in the Unchained Imagination Challenge in 2023. It was one of the better managed challenges I had taken part in (and of course, the result didn't hurt either). Unfortunately, it always seemed to be up against the annual ONC in time, and interest was too low to continue.

The heady win imbued my characters with a sense of preeminence, causing them to approach me requesting more page time to finish their story, and while reluctant to tackle another tale so soon, the male lead made me an offer I dared not refuse.

While this story stands alone, there are many references to the first book, names, events, attitudes, and they may pose some confusion, but you're not studying for an exam here, so don't be too concerned, it will work out.

Names of real places or people have been used strictly for settings and atmosphere, and my descriptions are generalizations, some from experience but mostly from imagination.
