"We are!" my friends screamed from across the room.

"Well this'll be easier than I thought," she pointed her magical stick towards my friends. "No! Don't!"

A blast of purple magic headed toward my friends. Before I could do anything there was a loud explosion. The room filled with smoke. Everyone coughed.

I waited anxiously for the smoke to clear as I prayed that they were alright.

The smoke began to disappear.

My friends...

"AHHHHHH!" everyone screamed staring at them.

"NO!"  I rushed to them. The wall they were laying against had a huge crack. They were wearing dull clothing much like the clothing Starlight was wearing before she turned into a she-demon.

"A...are they-"

"Most likely not...but either way they'll still be equals," she giggled. "Ohhh...please wake up..." I begged quietly.

They slowly opened their eyes. "You're...You're alive!" I hugged them. They barely reacted...now that I think about it,not even Pinkie reacted.

"G...Girls?"

They had a miserable expression on their face. They didn't seem to care. But then I noticed something was missing...

"W...where's Sunset?" I noticed. "I don't exactly know..." she said levitating some, what I assume are cutiemarks and placed each one in a glass jar.

"What do you mean you don't know!?"

"This is my first try...So..." she shrugged. "Bring her back!" I demanded. "Woah calm down, princess," she chuckled.

"I can't. End of the story. I just don't know how," my heart broken into a million pieces. "But..."

"There's one thing I can confirm though...she's special..." she grinned before giggling.

"So...who's gonna help you now?" she asked once again.

"..."

"Me..." I uttered as my eyes turned into a different shade of purple.

She was coming out, wasn't she?

But before I could turn into Midnight Sparkle something broke into the room.

In front of me stood a figure who wore a long white gown.

"Sunset?"
