Chapter 31: My Speech
It's been a few weeks. Everything's going out alright.
I still have my friends and have lots of fun but most importantly...
Have a happy life.
I've been searching for Starlight Glimmer but I just can't seem to find her. Well, I might as well forget about her. Anyway, today is the last day of school.
Can you believe it? After this I'll have to head to college. We're having this huge celebration. Were having a potluck, playing lots of fun games and getting honorary gifts from teachers. I'm sure I'll be able to find Starlight today.
Atleast I hope.
So, soon I arrived with a purple dress designed by Rarity. "You look magnificent!" she squealed as she continued to give my other friends complements.
You maybe thinking,
how am I able to be so happy after what happened. I'm not. I still can't forget and deep down inside I'm still traumatised. I'm just trying my best to hide it.
I took out my phone and gave it a stare before snapping back to reality. "Let's head in," I suggested.
The hall was filled with people dancing with all kinds of dance moves. Bonbon and Lyra were doing this silly dance move that couldn't help but make me giggle. Derby was doing a weird dance mouth that I didn't know of.
Flash was just leaning against the wall with a cup of punch in his hand. He looked lonely.
"Let's get this party started!" Pinkie shouted despite the fact that the party had already started.
She did what she usually did during parties and more people started to dance. Flash saw me and headed my way.
Oh no...
"Do you think I can...you know," he blushed. Oh no...
I never had feelings for him...not 'that' way, of course...but I said yes.
So, we danced, ate and played lots of games until it was night time.
Wow...time goes fast, doesn't it?
It was nice. I was having lots of fun. Never thought I could.
Not after what happened.
But there was just one thing that made me feel unsatisfied. I still couldn't find Starlight Glimmer and today's the last day of school...the party's about to end too.
I just wanted to talk with her...that's it. If I don't my curiosity will wander forever...
But curiosity does kill the cat. They started giving out gifts.
"Starlight Glimmer," Vice Principal called. "I guess she's not here. That's a shame," she sighed putting down the small trophy. I sighed. Well...I guess I'm not gonna be able to know much about her. Guess things will have to remain a mystery.
It made me feel sad...that I'm gonna have to leave my school...the place where I've gotten so many memories. Wonderful ones and horrible ones. There's one thing I can confirm though...
This school was memorable.
"It was a nice year and we both are very happy to have you all as students. You have helped our school in...everything and we don't have any words to describe how thankful we are for you..." my principal announced full of pride.
"Now we will like to welcome a special student to the stage."
"Twilight?" they called with a smile. I gasped lightly before proceeding onto the stage.
"Now tell us your experience that you've had here. It'll be nice if you could represent all your friends with words too," she told me. I nodded.
I looked infront of me to see a quiet crowd. My anxiety grew. I took a deep breath and began my speech.
