Chapter 26: The Results
I woke up...but I didn't open my eyes. I was to scared too.
Please be a dream...Please be a dream!
My mind begged before I opened my eyes...
It was just-
Real?
I giggled. This is a joke. Right? I'm still dreaming? Right? I'm not gonna die?
RIGHT?
The door creaked open. A knife...
Was what my eyes focused on. He was holding a knife.
"Good morning," he greeted with a smirk. "Please don't do this! If you let me go now, I won't tell anyone! Please!" I pleaded. "Sorry...but I won't!"
He plunged his knife through...
his throat. What?
No...he didn't do it...it was something else...what?
I don't understand.
I found myself splattered in his blood. "What?" I asked myself.
Then, she appeared.
Midnight Sparkle.
She waved her hand with a smile before disappearing.
I walked down the stairs music playing in the background.
"Don't ignore me...Don't be ungrateful...after all that I have done..." a voice sang.
"I saved your life but you don't care...and now you're broken in despair...who will help you then?" the music kept playing. I tried to ignore it but whenever I did it just got louder.
"There's still a demon inside," the voice was but a whisper
School? Results?
I immediately remembered after getting out of the house. How I still wanted to go to school, amazed me.
I needed to know my results.
I've always cared about school. It was my life...
I ran back home changed my clothes and headed to school. I was still early.
So I waited. I took a seat and waited. Many parents started drowning the school. My mom. There she was. She saw me and headed my way. She took a seat beside me giving me some glare. "You better get straight 'A's!" she scolded.
Despite what I went through I nodded. I didn't even tell her...I didn't even tell my friends yet.
My friends were seating with their parents. Pinkie was sitting with Mr and Mrs. Cake. I know they aren't her parents but they act like they are.
Fluttershy was sitting with her parents. AJ was with Granny Smith and so on.
Sunset looked at me and smiled. I smiled back. She sat alone. Dad was probably too busy.
Principal Celestia took a few steps onto the stage.
"Welcome. Thank you for coming. We appreciate you're cooperation," she started. It was a long speech but then the news that everyone waited for was finally about to be announced.
"As you all have been waiting for, I will now announce the students which succeeded."
"Unfortunately, there is only one student who got straight 'A's," my mom looked at me with a threatening look.
"With great pride," our vice principal spoke.
"The student is..."
