Chapter 15: Standing Up
She took the papers and checked my answers.
"You're doing good I must say. Of course one of your answers are incorrect...but other than that you're doing a quite good," she started. "But..." she said before ripping my paper into half. I gasped. I could barely even breath.
"Now, you may start again," she said handing me a fresh piece of paper. That was it. I'm gonna fail. "B...but," I stuttered. "Who asked you to cheat, Twilight? Besides, atleast I gave you another paper,"she said sternly.
How am I gonna complete 60 math questions in 15 minutes? I mean I already know the answers of the questions but writing down the equations and everything would take a long time.
I didn't even bother to look at the paper. Time was of the essence. Time was moving quick and it clearly wasn't gonna wait for a pathetic person like me. Just look at me. Sobbing in class...I'm so ugly...no wonder Steven didn't come to Sugarcube Corner yesterday. I hate myself.
I kept on crying. I was the main attention of the class. "It's alright Twilight. Everything will be fine," a voice comforted me in a quiet and soothing way. I looked to my right. It was Sunset Shimmer with a small smile.
"Everything will be alright," she nodded, with a slightly hearable voice . "Sunset!" Principal Cinch screamed. "You must've cheated too!" she stomped to my friend. "I'm not surprised that your school is full of cheaters! I'll make a report on this!" She shouted, snatching Sunset's already completed test paper. "Wait!" I screamed. "It's fine..." Sunset whispered. I ignored her. I didn't want anyone to be treated like this...especially my friends. "You can't just do this to us!"
I stood up. "And why is that?" she asked. "Because we didn't cheat! I'm sure our teachers aren't doing this to your students!" I argued trying to muster the courage I had left in me. "My students don't cheat on exams..." she walked around the class. "Well, we didn't either!" I screamed. "My friends-" I started but was cut off. "Your friends?" she asked. "I see you have...friends," she approached me. "How nice...and I suppose they're those...nice girls from the friendship games," she got even closer to me.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked. "You...my prize student, transfered to this weak and idiotic school. I'm here to aware you of your dastardly mistake," she whispered before walking back to her comfortable red seat. She doesn't deserve to be a principal or even a simple teacher. She doesn't even deserve a life...not with how she treats people.
I looked down. Tears still streamed down my nerdy and dorky face.
That was it...my life ruined. Crumpled into a little small ball and burned into nothing but dust and ashes.
What I really didn't know, was that my life could go far more worse and it will. I can promise you that.
But...atleast there are a few other tests. Let's just hope that I can score on those ones.
