It was mid night preeta was sleeping on the bed and Karan was sleeping beside her on the bed in sleeping position holding her hands in his.....

Karan stirs in his sleep feeling her shivering in the sleep....he opens his eyes and sees her who is shivering and he touches her forehead worriedly....he feels it still burning....

Karan- ohhh God abh shaam ko tho thoda kaam hua tha....abh firse aa gaya hain lagta hain.....kya karu abh....

He remembers doctor tell him that if fever didn't decrease then put cold water strips on her forehead it will help....

Karan- Haan thande panni ke Patti....vho lekar Ata hoon....(he runs downstairs)

He after sometime comes with the tray of fresh white cotton strips and one bowl of cold water.....he keeps the tray on night stand and sits beside her.....

He covers her properly with the quilt and then puts puts the cotton strip in the cold water and then puts it on her forehead.....

Feeling something cold on her forehead preeta opens her eyes weakly and sees Karan who is putting cold water strips on her forehead.....

Preeta- Karan...(he sees her)aap kya Kar rahe hain....itni raat ho gayi hain aap so jaiye....

Karan- preeta yaha tum bimar hoon aur muzhe bol rahi hoon ke main chain se so jau....main nahi so raha....jab tak tum thik nahi ho jati muzhe ninnd vaise bhi nahi aane vali......

Preeta- par Karan aap Kab tak aise jagenge.....bhaut raat ho gayi hain....

Karan- jab tak tumhara bukhar nahi utar jata....tum aaram Karo preeta kitni baatein karogi....

Preeta- par....(he keeps his finger on her lips)

Karan- shhh....tum na sacch main baccho jaisi ziddi hoon....kabhi tho baat Maan lo.....

Preeta- accha ohk....

He puts the another strip on her forehead and she was adoring his care and concern for him....the way he was tense for her it's showing that he has some feelings in his heart for her which is unknown to him....

She slowly slowly drifted into sleep....Karan sees her and continue putting the cold strips on her forehead....

He after some time checks her temperature by keeping his hand on her forehead it is little bit better but still she was some fever....

Karan- hassh iska bukhar thoda tho kaam hua....but abhi bhi thoda hain....kya karu....

He then moves towards cupboard and takes out the big blanket from it....he moves to her and covers her with it properly.....preeta clutches the blanket close to her feeling cold....

Karan again sits beside her and puts the cold strip on her forehead he do it continously for some 1 hour....checking her temperature time by time....

It's early morning....birds are criping happily....sunrays peeks inside preeran room....

Preeta was sleeping snuggling herself more into blanket.....Karan was sleeping beside her on the bed in sitting position....his head was near her head and he was holding her hand in his tightly in his sleep.....

Preeta stirs little in her sleep and opens her eyes being sleepy.....she feels someone is holding her hand and looks to side and finds Karan who is sleeping holding her hand close to him....

He was looking so cute in sleep....his hairs were falling over his forehead...his lips were formed in pout making him look more cute....she smiles and slowly takes her hand out from his hold....

She sits and cotton stripe fall over her lap from her forehead.....she sees it and then at karan who is sleeping beside her....she sees around her there were two bowls of water with so many cotton strips....

Preeta- apko Pata hain karan aap bahut acche hain....chahe aap yeh na mane ke aapko meri fikar hain par apki vho care apki in choti choti baato main jalakti hain.....(she creases his hairs softly) kal apne thik kaha tha....future main kya hone vala hain kisi ko nahi pata...tho uski tension main hum kyu humara present karab kare.....aaj bhale he aapke liye is shaddi ke koi Mayne nahi hain....apke liye yeh shaddi ek naam ke hain....shyad kahi na kahi mere liye bhi par Karan muzhe rishte todna nahi accha lagta....shyad aaj apko is shaddi main ghutan hoon rahi hoon par main believe Karna chati hoon ke ek din apka yeh point of view badle ga....shyad tab aap is rishte main khul ke jee sake....yeh hoga ke nahi pata nahi par main koshish jarur karungi apka yeh nazariya badle....pyaar hoga is shaddi main kabhi yeh tho nahi pata par dosti tho jarur rahegi.....

Karan stirs little in his sleep and wakes up and sees preeta who is creasing his hairs....preeta immediately take her hand back seeing him awake.....and he sits on the bed....

Karan- tum thik hoon....bukhar tho nahi hain....(touches her forehead and signs in relief) hassh nahi hain....abh kaisa feel Kar rahi hoon....

Preeta- better....(with slight smile)

Karan- abh better feel Kar rahi hoon tho baccho jaise kudne maat lag jana...abhi abhi theek lag raha hain par fir bhi thoda aaram karna....

Preeta- Haan baba karungi aaram....(he sees her who is picking up the tray) vaise ek baat puchu aap puri raat jage the mere liye....

Karan- haan...chalo abh fresh hoon jao tumhe accha lagega....

He is about to move out from the bed when she holds his one hand stopping him....he turns and sees her and then at her hold om his arms.....

Karan- kya hua preeta kuch chaiye kya....

Preeta- nahi kuch nahi....(she leaves his hand)

Karan- kya hua preeta....say it....

Preeta- kuch nahi hua Karan....(he looks at her with questionable look) accha ohk batati hoon....vho na muzhe cheese sandwich khane ka Maan hain....

Karan- tum bhi na....main kaka ko bolke ata hoon....vho Bana denge....hmm....(she nodded and he leaves)

Preeta- kuch tho hain Karan....par kya hain vho nahi samjha aa raha hain nahi pata chal raha hain....bhaut confusion hain dil dimag main....(she tooks Karan photo from night stand) yeh sab itna confusing kyu hain....apko Pata hain agar kabhi muzhe Maths main koi sawal confusing lage tho main tho usein aise he chod deti thi.....par is confusion ko chodna ka maan nahi hain muzhe...Jaana hain ke yeh kya hain....Kab pata chalega....(she pouts cutely)

She sees his photo and then make confused face and puts the photo back on the night stand....

Preeta- huh...yeh kya bolenge preeta....jaise Ghar main sadu se Shakal banakar ghumte vaise he photo main bhi sadu se Shakal banayi hain....(she startled hearing Karan's voice)

Karan- ohhh I thought tum fresh hoon rahi hoon....but yaha tho tum bhaut busy dikh rahi hoon....apne Pati ke burai karne main.....

Preeta(mummers)- sunn liya lagta hain....

Karan- Haan sunn liya maine....abh fresh nahi Hona kya....

Preeta- Haan ja rahi hoon....huh sadu mafia....(she leaves taking towel from cupboard)

Karan moves and picked up the photo from night stand and sees it....and then moves towards the mirror and sees his face and again photo....

Karan- huh...pagal ladki...itni bhi koi buari nahi hain kitni acchi tho photo hain meri....isko kya Pata ke isko Karan luthra ka swag kehte hain....(he keeps the photo back and raises his collar and moves to bed to settled it properly)

Its been two days preeta is not going to college as Karan strictly warned her to take proper rest and then only she can go to college....

She was sitting in hall looking at someone like she will really eat him now....and yes it is none other than our Karan luthra who is talking on the phone from long time.....she was literally glaring at him but he didn't affected....

So she moves towards the kitchen and takes out the one chocolate bar from the freez and starts eating it to cool down her temper....only it can help her at that time as she was so so angry on him....as he was not letting her to go college and here she is getting bored....

Karan turns as soon as his call ended and he saw preeta and one chukle left his mouth as she was looking hell cute because of her expressions....her angry yet cute expressions and one chocolate in her hand which she was eating angrily.....

Karan raises his eyebrow at her and she turned her face to other side showing him that she is angry....Karan shakes his head in disbelief and moves towards her.....

Karan- preeta....(but she didn't turn) are suno tho sahi main tumsein baat Kar raha hoon....(poks his finger in her shoulder)

Preeta- Karan aap jaiye...muzhe aapsein baat nahi karni....

Karan- are par kyu...aisa bhi kya Kar diya maine ke tum itni gussa hoon....

Preeta- main kaha gussa hoon....huh...

Karan- ohhh accha muzhe tho jaise dikh he nahi raha na....

Preeta- apko galat dikh raha hain....main gussa nahi hoon....(she takes the last bite from the chocolate) yeh tho khatam ho gayi....(she pouted)

She stood up from the bed to go inside the kitchen but Karan stops her holding her hand....she didn't turned back and tries to free her hand from his hold but his hold was tight....

At last Karan pulls her back with the jerk and she directly lands on his chest...she holds him through shoulder for support and his one hand traveled back to hold her from waist.....

Karan saw the some chocolate was there near her lips....she was not looking at him because of nervousness....

Karan takes his other hand and cupped her face and rubbed his tumb on corner of her lips....

Preeta shut her eyes tightly because she was feeling current in her body with his mere touch....she clutched his shirt tightly in her fist.....

Karan wipes the chocolate and takes his hand back and sees her face....her eyes were closed her face was showing nervousness and cuteness of her....

Karan admires her for some time and later preeta opens her eyes and saw him who is looking at her intensely....she lowered her gaze down not knowing what exactly she was feeling....

Her heart is beating so fast....she lost her sense whenever he touches her and she drowns to the other world from where she never wants to come back.....

Karan is about to say something when he intrupteed with ring of door bell...making both of them to come back in sense and departs....they moves away awkwardly....

As one of the servant opens the door abhay and Payal comes inside...preeta smiled seeing them and moves to them....

Preeta- tum dono yaha....accha hua aa Gaye....main bhaut bore hoon rahi thi....

Payal- abh tu 2 din sein college nahi ayi tho hum he aa Gaye tumsein milne....and....(before she could complete abhay said)

Abhay- tumhe kisi sein milane....(preeta and Karan looks at him confusingly)

Preeta- kon Aya hain muzhsein milne....

Payal- guess kar....bhaut bada vala surprise hain....(Karan also moves to them)

Preeta- Payal Bata na tu aise paheliya kyu bujha rahi hain....tujhe pata hain na muzhsein sabar nahi hota.....abhay tu he Bata de.....

Abhay- preeta vho....

Payal- Abhay rukh....umm aa jao andar....(she calls someone and preeta and Karan eyes moves towards the door)

As she ask someone to come....one very handsome and dashing guy moves inside....dressing well in informals looking all hot that any girls can drool over him.....

preeta's eyes widened with happiness seeing him and Karan looks at him confusingly but later frowns looking at the happiness on preeta's face which comes after seeing him.....

But what he saw next is made him hell jelouse as preeta directly runs in the arms of that guy while squeeling in happiness.....

Preeta- aadiii....(she shouted and hugs him tightly)

Aadi- yess me....kaisi hain tu....(hugs her back making Karan frowns)

Listening her shout Yash comes running from his room while shouting something and all looks at him confusingly.....

Yash- andhi....kaha ayi andhi....Haan preeta....

Listening him all looks at him and Karan shakes his head.....

Yash- yeh kon hain....

Karan(mummers)- andhi he hain aur kon....huh....

Preeta- Yash bhai....andhi nahi Aadi...I mean aaditya mera dost....(smiles seeing him) my childhood friend....(aadi smiles and Karan makes faces)

Yash- ohhh maine galat suna....are preeta dost ko darwaje par kyu rakha hain andar bula na.....(preeta nodded and takes him inside)

Aaditya smiles seeing them and Yash introduced him self to him....preeta takes him to karan and aaditya smiles seeing him but Karan was burning in jelousey as preeta was still holding him through his arms but passed fake smile to him....

Preeta- Karan yeh aaditya hain....mera childhood friend.....

Karan- Haan suna maine....so aadi....(departs preeta's hand from him and holds his hand) tumsein milke bhaut accha laga....

Aadi- muzhe bhi aapsein milke accha laga....aur usein jyada accha preeta sein itne Saal baad milkar laga....(again holds her trough shoulder)

Karan(mummers)- isko itna kya chipakana hain....

Aadi/preeta- aapne kuch kaha kya....(confusingly)

Karan- nahi nahi tho....kuch bhi nahi...Aadi come sit na.....(aadi nodded and sit there)

Preeta is about to move there and sits beside aadi when Karan shouts....

Karan- nahi....(shouts)

Preeta- Karan kya hua aap chikhe kyu....(all sees him)

Karan- aa...nahi kuch nahi....vho tho kuch chuba abh thik hain....(Yash laughs in mind knowing hum very well)

Preeta nodded and sits beside aadi....Karan sits infront of them with Payal and abhay and on different sofa...Yash sits beside karan and Karan sees him who is passing him smile and Karan rolles his eyes at him....

Karan- yeh paglo jaisa hassna band Kar....

Yash- main kaha hassh raha hoon....(Karan glared him and he changed the topic) aaa preeta tum hume batao na tum aadi ko kaise janti hoon....and tumhare dosti ke kisse....

Karan(mind)- isko itni kya panchayat hain.....kal ke akbaar main chapni hain kya information jho isein Janna hain sab....

Preeta- Haan bhai vho main aur aadi same school main the and then yeh shift ho gaya kayi aur.....aur tab ke baad directly aaj mil rahe hain hum....

Yash- ohh that's nice yaar....

Aadi- vaise preeta tune itne jaldi shaddi kyu kar li....are thoda tho mera intzaar Kar leti....

Preeta- accha...kyu tuzhe mere saath shaddi karni thi kya....

Aadi- yeah....you know maine kitna wait Kiya tha tere liye.....(with puppy eyes)

Preeta- tu aaj bhi vaisa he hain na....ekdam...(he cuts her)

Aadi- hot....handsome and happening.....

Preeta- nautanki.....nautanki hain tu ek number ka.....(Karan was making faces)

Karan- guys tum log baatein karo main ata hoon......(preeta sees him)

Preeta- Karan kaha.....

Karan- kuch kaam yaad aa gaya hain....vho karna hain....tum baatein karo na abhi tumhe bore bhi nahi hoga....itni acchi company jho mil gayi hain.....(says eyeing Aadi)

Yash- are kya kaam hain tuzhe beth na....dekh na yeh dono kitne pyaare lag rahe hain....muzhe tho mere bacchpan ke dost yaad aa Gaye....

Karan- tu kar enjoy....muzhe kaam hain....(he leaves upstairs seeing preeta for last time)

Yash(mind)- huh....Aya bada kaam hain...sab Pata hain muzhe ke isko koi kaam vagera nahi hain....mirchi jho lagi hain itni Jalan hoon rahi hain.....par manega vho Karan luthra kaha.....(he smriks seeing upstairs)

After talking with her friends for good long time preeta leaves upstairs as her friends leaves to their home....happiness can be seen on her face.....

As she moves inside she sees Karan who is laying on the bed while closing his eyes and taping his legs....it means he is awake and he don't had any important work to do.....she widened her eyes seeing him.....

Preeta- aap yaha aaram sein lete hain....(she says and Karan opens his eyes)

Karan- Haan kyu....kya problem hain....

Preeta- par apko tho koi jaruri kaam tha na....(he sees her and then adverts his gaze)

Karan- Haan tha na....(he stands from the bed) par vho hoon gaya so abh main aaram kar raha tha....

Preeta- accha....

Karan- hoon gayi tumhari baatein tumhare childhood friend sein....chale Gaye kya vho sab.....

Preeta- are abhi tho bhaut baatein karni hain....par aaj itna time nahi tha na tho kal college main kar lungi....

Karan- kal college main Matlab....

Preeta- are Haan apko nahi pata na....vho Aadi yaha shift ho gaya hain and abh sein vho mere he college main padhega.....yahi tho surprise Dene vho yaha Aya Tha.....(listening this Karan frowns but shows her that it's didn't affected him while nodding)

Karan- hmm....accha hain.....(he starts checking his wallet)

Preeta- apko kaisa laga Aadi I am sure apko bhi accha laga hoga....papa ka tho favorite hain vho....

Karan- Haan accha tha....

Preeta- bass itna he....

Karan- tho aur kya kahu....(says to her) kahe ka accha kitna chipku laga muzhe tho huh....(he says in mind)

Preeta- kuch nahi....vaise aap kahi jaa rahe hain kya....

Karan- hmm ek kaam hain....tum so jana dhyaan sein main aa jaunga....ohk....

Preeta- par Karan raat hone vali hain....is samay....

Karan- preeta you know na main kon hoon.....so don't worry kuch nahi hoga....tum aaram sein so jana....main jaldi aa jaunga.....and dawai Lele na....

Preeta- hmm....dhyaan sein jana Haan....

Karan- Haan....bye....(he leaves)

Preeta- aaram sein sona....aise bolke chale Gaye jaise muzhe ninnd aa jayegi....(she pouted cutely) abh time pass karna padega....

Karan comes to one of old factory....as soon as his man's saw him they bowed their heads infront of him....he moves inside and checks the other man's who is checking something on the big screen....

Karan- kuch pata chala us Vidyut ke phone sein....uske kiske saath contacts hain....vho kisko massage karta tha kon usein milta tha....anything....

One man- boss hume pata lagne ke puri koshish ke hain par koi aisa sabut nahi Mila jho yeh Bata sake ke vho insaan hain kon....hum koshish Kar rahe hain....(Karan sees him angrily)

Karan- koshish....koshish my foot....muzhe results chaiye vho bhi jald sein jald....

Man- boss vaise hume uski call history check ke thi....usme ek number par vho lagtar baat karta tha....par vho number kiska hain vho pata nahi chala....uski koi information nahi hain....bas MR.M likha hain.....

Karan- MR.M yeh kon hoon sakta hain....aur kuch pata chala....

Man- nahi boss aur kuch nahi abhi baki ke information Ana baki hain....

Karan- ohk...tho fir yeh bhi information nikalna ke yeh VM akhir hain kon....ek baar bass yeh Bata chal jaye fir usein pata chalega Karan luthra ke raastein main ane ka anjaam.....

Karan moves out from the factory and takes out his cigarette and starts smoking while thinking about that contact.....

He sees the time and it is showing 10:30 pm....he moves towards his car and droves towards his house.....

After reaching home he moves inside and directly runs upstairs....he opens the door of his room and see it empty....

Karan- yeh preeta kaha gayi....itni raat ho gayi hain....isko maine dawai lekar Sone ko kaha tha.....kaha chali gayi hain....

He checks the washroom but it's also empty....he moves towards balcony and sees preeta who is sleeping on the swing with the phone in her hand and earpods ade connected to it.....

Karan- yeh yaha kyu so rahi hain....vapas bimar padana hain kya isein....itni thand hain bahar.....(he moves towards her)

He is about to wake her up but stops his hands in middle....he sees her who is sleeping so cutely and he didn't wanted to disturb her sleep....

He moves and takes out the earpods from her ears and then takes the phone from her and puts on the table....

He holds her trough waist and pulls slowly and then takes her in his arms....preeta stirs little but again sleeps holding him through neck and snuggled close to him....he sees her and one small smile crept on jis lips....

He moves inside the and made her lays on the and frees her hold on him....he covers her with duvet and then sits beside her and admires her.....

Karan- tumhe Sone ko kaha tha na jaldi tho soyi kyu nahi....tumne tho thaan liya hain na ke meri tho ek bhi baat nahi maani....(he shakes his head and slapped his forehead) Karan tu na pagal ho gaya hain vho so rahi hain aur usein baatein Kar raha hain....ahhh....leave it....

He stands from the bed and goes towards bathroom taking his simple clothes....and he takes a one hot shower while continuously thinking about his unknown enemy....

He moves out and lays on the bed and turns of the light....he turns and faced his back to her.....

For a long time he tries to sleep but couldn't he was just lying there while closing his eyes and not sleeping....

He turns and sees preeta who is going towards the edge of the bed....he holds her hand immediately and slowly pulls her towards him....

She wrapped her hands around him in sleep and keeps her one leg on him....she moves more closer to him and keeps her head on his shoulder....Karan sees her then at their position....

His mind is telling him to departs her from him....but his heart is not ready to leave her.....which always felt sukoon when she is beside him....her warmth and her embarce gives him homely feeling which he missed from childhood....

he feels his home within her where he felt happy safe and comfortable....he everyday tries to ignore her but there is one invisible string between them which is pulling them towards eachother everytime more close than before.....

Karan keeps his hand on her waist and holds her protectively in his embarce and closed his eyes and slept after sometime....

तुम्हे किसी और के साथ देखकर जलता है वो....
पर तुुमसे प्यार है ये मानने से भी डरता है वो....
