History:
Being the tough-as-nails nephew of Road Warrior Hawk, Dan got his education on the streets of Chicago, and when he was a teenager became part of a gang. He soon left that life after graduating from high school and became a counselor for at-risk youth. A year into it, he became a biker and traveled from town to town and state telling and teaching kids the dangers of the gang lifestyle. He fell into the wrestling business by attending a WWE live event in early 2019 where he met Saraya Bevis at a bar after the show and the rest is history, or it was, he was cut from the Performance Center in 2020, and was forced to learn on the job in the Indies. Where his more violent side came out to play. He soon earned the nickname 'Wolverine' courtesy of his size and rather short temper. About a month into his Indies run. Saraya told him that she was pregnant with their first child and he was so excited to become a dad. On April 18th, 2021. Saraya gave birth to Phoebe Piper Bevis. (Saraya's idea). Dan sees her as often as he can. Unfortunately, Saraya and Dan broke up but he still saw Phoebe and paid child support. Dan was adamant that he was not going to be a deadbeat dad. Saraya was happy that Dan wanted to be a good father to Phoebe. Pretty soon he was picked up by ROH and when AEW purchased it. He instantly became an enhancement talent for Tony's chosen. Dan met and fell in love with Dori Prange, who was known as Ruby Riott in WWE but goes by Ruby Soho in AEW. She tried to calm him down and convince him to stick it out. However, she like her boyfriend, got tired of barely being given any TV time or not even close to a title match. So they decided to cut ties with AEW and Tony Kahn when their contract was up. But Dan wanted to go in the most brutal fashion imaginable.
Dan as Tony sent an email to the talent and staff of AEW. With a note of their release. Dan wasn't happy with only doing that as he doused Tony through the sunroof of his limo with gasoline and set him ablaze. However, even though Kahn is sure that Dan did it. There's no evidence to prove it. The only evidence connects Jack Perry and the Young Bucks to the crimes. The matter is still under investigation.
Dan and Dori called Hunter who was over the moon about having Dori return and Dan to make his WWE debut two weeks after King & Queen of The Ring. And Ruby's not impressed with a former teammate's change in attitude. Even more so when Judgement Day disrespects Dan's Uncle Hawk's contributions to the wrestling business along with his Uncle Animal's contributions to wrestling. And not one member of Judgment Day will survive his reprisal. Ruby convinces him to let her deal with Liv. He hesitantly agrees. Two questions remain, will Liv survive Ruby's wrath? And will Judgement Day survive Dan's?
