My alarm went off early the next morning. I rolled over and hit the snooze button. I didn't even remember falling asleep last night. Josh's headphones were still plugged into my phone. I pulled them out and laid them on the nightstand so I wouldn't forget them before throwing the blankets back and getting out of bed.

My feet hit the floor and I was wide awake at that point. I grabbed some black ripped jeans and a roadie shirt before heading towards the bathroom. I walked around the corner and stopped immediately when I noticed something. I cocked my head like a confused dog when I noticed that the conjoining door was still open.

Either Josh left it open or he never even came back to his room after leaving with Tyler last night. A shirtless and very sleepy Josh walked right past the door at that minute, in his boxers. My eyes became wide and I tried to turn to leave just as he looked up at me. His tired eyes locked with mine.

"Morning, Ru," he said as he rubbed his eyes tiredly. "Um, good morning," I said trying to keep my eyes locked on his instead of letting them wander to other places. He smiled and rubbed his eyes. "Did you sleep well?" he asked and I nodded not trusting my voice. I was never speechless around Josh. Then again I had never seen him in just his boxers either.

"I did. What about you?" I asked him. He nodded and ran a hand through his bed head. "I did, I wish I could've got more sleep though. Tyler kept me up late last night," he said. I cocked an eyebrow at him. "What for?" I asked. He shrugged. "He wanted to go over some stuff for the radio show this morning, but I think he's nervous," he said.

I laughed lightly. "Thee Tyler Joseph is nervous about a radio show, but yet he can play to 20,000 people and it not phase him?" I asked rhetorically. Josh chuckled and ran his hand over his face trying to wake himself up. "Yeah, I'm not really sure. But we played through a few things and he feels better now," he said.

I smiled. "Well, that's good to hear. We better get moving though. We gotta leave in twenty," I said. Josh nodded and walked away from the door. I let out a breath I didn't know I had been holding as soon as I walked into the bathroom. We had been friends for almost a year now, I've seen him shirtless countless nights on and off stage, but something about him being him in his boxers through me for a loop. I quickly started the shower knowing I didn't have much time to sit and think about this.

I stripped off my clothing, grabbed my toothbrush, and jumped in the shower knowing I didn't have much time to get ready. After a quick shower, I got out, dried off, and quickly threw my clothes on. I didnt have time to really do anything with my hair so I braided it and slid my beanie back on.

Deciding to give my eyes a break, I grabbed my glasses and slid them on. Looking at my phone I saw we had about five minutes to get down to the lobby to meet everyone. "Ruby?" I heard a muffled voice call out. I assumed it was Jake. "Coming," I called out looking at myself one more time in the mirror before walking out of the bathroom.

I practically collided with a chest when I walked out. "Woah, hey," I looked up to see Josh. "Were you waiting on me?" I asked him. I looked him up and down to see we were both practically dressed the same. Black ripped skinny jeans, black tshirts, beanies, and our glasses. Josh nodded.

"Are you copying me?" I asked nudging him as he opened the door knowing we had to go. "I think I should ask if you're copying me," he said. I rolled my eyes as I hit the elevator button. Once the elevator hit the bottom floor Josh and I ducked around the corner to go out the backdoor without being noticed.

Everyone was already standing out by the SUVs ready to go. "Morning!" I called out as we got closer to everyone. A few people waved or smiled, but I could tell everyone was still trying to wake up. "Let's load up," Jake called out to everyone. We all divided up into the SUVs how we normally did.

I jumped into the third row on the SUV and the boys got into the middle row. "Tyjo, where's the Mrs?" I asked knowing that she was supposed to be joining us at this location for the next few shows. He was chewing on a granola bar while looking at his phone. "She's coming. She'll be here before dinner," he said. I nodded and sat back knowing that was Tyler wasn't much of a morning person. Jake tossed Josh a granola bar and Josh handed it to me before accepting the other one from Jake.

I ate it slowly while surfing on my phone. It didn't take us long to get to the radio station. We were only a couple miles away. Thuds against the side of the SUV made me look up from my phone. "Holy cow," Tyler breathed as he put his phone away. I tucked my phone in my pocket and looked out the window.

We were surrounded by fans on every side of us. "This is nuts," Josh said as he finished his granola bar. Jake turned to face all of us. "Alright y'all, don't move. We'll get security out here first. Everyone get out on Josh's side since he's on the radio station side. No autographs, no pictures. High five if you want to, but we need to get in there," he said.

All of us nodded completely understanding. We didn't want to get hurt nor did we want any of the fans to get hurt. Tyler moved over towards Josh and let down his seat so I could get out quickly. I moved and sat down on the folded seat ready to move. Two very tall, burly men came to the car.

"Everyone ready?" Jake asked and we all nodded. "Alright, move!" he said opening his car door as security grabbed the car door for Josh. He quickly hopped out and Tyler followed behind him with me hot on his heels. The boys tucked in tight and smiled while high fiving the fans as they walked in.

I saddled up beside Jake and between the four of us we were able to get the boys through the doors with no complications. The boys turned and looked out the glass doors as security shut them. They waved and smiled before Jake told them it was time to go in before we were late for the show.

We were all handed VIP guest passes and we put them around our necks to not lose them. "Alright, this way guys," Jake said as he lead us through the building. As we got closer to where we needed to be we could hear a couple of people talking and it was playing through the speakers. "We're gonna play two songs guys and then we'll be back with Twenty One Pilots!" the man said as we approached the big glass window where we could see two men sitting around a huge table with multiple microphones.

We watched them hit a couple buttons before turning to us with huge smiles as they waved us in. "I'm Tim and this is my cohost Dan," he said shaking Jake's hand. "Jake, nice to meet you. This is Tyler," he said. Tyler shook his hand. "Nice to meet you. This is Josh," Tyler said as Tim moved down to shake Josh's hand.

Josh smiled. "Hi! Nice to meet you, this is Rubik's Cube," Josh said while pointing to me. I rolled my eyes and nudged him towards the table. "It's Ruby, that's just one of my nicknames from the guys," I said. Tim smiled before heading towards the table. Jake and I took seats in the corner as the guys got comfortable with everything around them.

Josh was checking out the electric drum kit he would play for the live song him and Tyler were performing, while Tyler was spinning in the chair he was sitting in waiting for the show to come back on. After Josh was comfortable with everything he went and sat beside Tyler. I turned to Jake.

"Did you get Tyler's ukulele restrung last night?" I asked. He nodded and pointed towards the case. "Yep, it's tuned and ready to go," he said. I nodded and pulled out my phone taking a picture of the boys for their social media pages. The boys put on their headphones to prepare for the interview.

"Hey Ru!" Tyler called out. I looked up at him. "Can Josh and I get some coffee?" he asked. I nodded and quietly slid out of the door just as Tim came back on air with the boys. I found a sign directing me to their break room listening as the boys said hello over the radio and started answering questions.

I grabbed a cup of coffee for Josh and a cup of green tea for Tyler knowing that he needed to keep his vocal cords warm and relaxed for the show tomorrow. I walked back down the hall and waited until Tim announced that they were going to play a song by the boys and they would be right back before walking back into the room. I handed both boys their cups before sitting back down beside Jake. A few more seconds passed by and we quieted down as Tim told us it was time to go back on the air.

"And we're back with-" about the time Tim did he reentro Tyler took a drink of his tea and choked on it before staring at me. "Is everything okay?" Tim asked. Tyler coughed and wiped his mouth. "I'm fine. I just wasn't expecting tea," he said taking another drink. I chuckled lightly. "Gotta keep the vocal cords warm and relaxed for the show tomorrow," I said. Jake nodded in agreement as Josh laughed.

Tyler glared playfully over at Josh. "Didn't I ask her for coffees?" he asked and Josh nodded as he picked up his cup. "What do you have?" he asked. Josh took a drink and smiled as he sat the cup down. "Coffee," he grinned as he said it into the microphone for everyone to hear that was listening.

Josh grinned widely at me as Tyler glared at me, but I could see he was doing it all in good fun. I shrugged and mouthed a 'sorry' to him as I pulled out my phone and took a few more photos. The boys wrapped up the interview portion and moved to get adjusted for the live song they were playing.

Jake got Tyler's ukulele out of the case and hooked it up to the sound system before handing it to Tyler. "You good?" I mouthed to Josh as he got comfortable behind the drumset. He flashed a smile and a thumbs up as he started beating lightly on the drum pads. It sounded completely different seeing as Jake and I couldn't actually hear what was being played.

Tim came back on the air and announced that the boys were going to play one of the songs off their album. I stood up and pulled out my phone to record. Granted we couldn't hear Josh's drumming and only Tyler's singing it was still something cool to show the fans from the behind the scenes perspective.

The song ended and the boys wrapped up the show. The on air sign flipped off and Jake and I clapped. Tim and Dan shook all of our hands and thanked us for coming before security lead us back through the building. We could see the fans at the door from where we were standing. "Alright same thing y'all. No photos or autographs. We need to get in the car and get to the venue," Jake said and the boys nodded.

The doors opened and we were met with a sea of screams. We all ducked our heads and made our way to the car. I jumped in the back and Tyler threw the seat up before scooting over and letting Josh in. Security shut the door and we locked them making sure none of the fans could get in.

Our driver drove off slowly hoping that none of the fans would get in the way. I let out a deep breath as soon as we broke through the fans and there was a clearing. I sat back and relaxed as I feel everyone else did as well. "That was crazy," I said as I pulled out my phone to look at the pictures and videos I took while at the radio station.

"The crew has already set everything up. So we're gonna tour the venue and figure out where everything is, then we'll run through lights and sound before doing a complete sound check. Tyler I don't want you doing any of your screaming today," Jake said causing me to chuckle lightly.

Jake was on my side about Tyler resting his voice. Tyler nodded and looked at his phone probably answering text messages from Jenna. "Will we be done in time for me to go pick up Jenna from the airport?" Tyler asked. Jake nodded. "That's the plan as long as nothing goes wrong," Jake said.

It didn't take us long to get to the venue from the radio station. Tyler and Josh rolled their windows down as they soaked in the outside of the venue. "This parking lot will be full tomorrow and fans are going to be wrapped around the building," I said from the backseat looking over Josh's shoulder out the window.

Our driver pulled around to the back of the venue. The tour busses were parked in a chain link fence behind the venue along with a couple of our SUVs. Josh hopped out and flipped his seat forward before offering a hand to help me out. "Thanks," I said as my feet hit the ground. We followed Jake through the stage door and were greeted by crew members pushing around equipment. We went through a few doors and a few curtains before we were finally able to walk out on the stage.

"Wow," Tyler and Josh breathed at the same time as they both stood center stage looking out to the empty venue. Jake clapped both of them on their backs. "Tomorrow night those seats and this pit will be completely full. This show is sold out boys!" Jake said. They all smiled at each other and started looking around at the gear.

I pulled off my beanie and and sat it on Josh's drumset seat before getting to work myself. Putting the drum kit together wouldn't take me long, but it still needed to be done. While the boys ran around and checked everything else out I decided to get to work because the faster we got this done, the faster we could go and relax. I already knew that tomorrow was going to be hectic.
