CHAPTER 1

"Jack, on the rocks."

"Jack, straight up."

The bartender looked at both girls at opposite ends of the bar.

With a slight wave of the hand, the blond signaled him to serve the other girl first.

"Thanks," The brunette said to him. "Her drink's on me."

"No, that's fine. I don't need the company."

"I'm not asking to keep you company. I'm just paying for your drink."

The now very confused bartender served Jessica her drink.

Jessica raised her glass at the girl sitting across the bar and proceeded to down her drink.

Tiffany, with a raised eyebrow, peered across and mimicked the motion, also finishing her cup.

"Gimme another one."

Both girls said at the same time.

The bartender repeated his motion, first serving Tiffany, than turning to serve Jessica.

Both girls stared at their drinks as the bartender left to the back room.

Jessica looked up at the girl across from her.

"Interesting."

She whispered to herself.

"What?"

"I said interesting."

Tiffany closed her eyes, lifted her glass and finished her drink in a gulp.

When the burn of whiskey finally left her nose, she noted a hint of flowers in the air.

She finally opened her eyes to see Jessica in the seat beside her.

"Interesting."

"What?"

"You don't seem like you'd frequent a bar like this. What with your pink skirt and matching pink heels. Are you sure you're not lost?"

"And what if I am?"

"Then? I'd say you need another drink. One on the rocks, one straight up."

Said Jessica as the bartender appeared from the back room.

"Why are you ordering my drink for me?"

"Why are you here?"

"Why do you need to know?"

"Why are you here?"

"Why do I need a reason?"

"Why are you here?"

"My sister died."

"Well, here's to your sister."

Jessica said as she downed her drink.

Tiffany looked at her in amazement and anger.

Jessica opened her eyes and looked into Tiffany's eyes.

"Wanna know why I'm here?"

Tiffany didn't need to know the answer as she took note of Jessica's black ensemble, running eyeliner and swollen eyes. She motioned to the bartender.

"2 more please?"

One drink later, Tiffany's head is on Jessica's shoulder.

Two drinks later, Jessica's arm is around Tiffany.

Three drinks later, Tiffany's hand is on Jessica's leg.

Four drinks later, Jessica is leaning in, grazing her lips against the other girl's cheek.

Five drinks later, Tiffany has her hands in Jessica's hair and tongue in Jessica's mouth.

"Let's get outta here."

With that, Jessica intertwined her fingers with Tiffany's, put $200 on the table and pulled Tiffany out of the bar.

Jessica's apartment was... to put it nicely, a mess.

There were clothes strewn all over the floor.

The blinds only showed a glimpse that an outside world existed.

Bottles of liquor rolled on the floor as Jessica kicked them out of her way.

Making their way into the bedroom, both girls were only half-dressed or half-undressed.

Tiffany took note of the rather peculiar sight of more than 20 picture frames, all flipped down.

"Can you tell me who died?"

"Is he in these pictures?"

"Were you in love?"

She asked in between kisses.

"It doesn't matter."

"But-"

Tiffany began to say as Jessica silenced her with a deep kiss.

The next morning, Jessica woke up peacefully, for the first time since it happened.

She looked at the girl in her arms, mouth slightly open, eyelashes resting on her cheek.

"Where did you come from?" She whispered.

Placing a light kiss on her forehead, Jessica pulled her arms tighter and drifted back to a serene slumber.

When Tiffany awoke, she was still lying in Jessica's arms. She remembered the details of the previous night and smiled to herself.

Walking around the apartment, she carefully noted her odd surroundings.

As she moved to the kitchen to pick up her left shoe, there wasn't a single dish in the sink.

She opened the fridge in curiosity only to find 2 empty bottles of Grey Goose.

The couch was dusty, as was the rest of the apartment.

Back in the bedroom, Jessica was still sleeping.

Tiffany once again took notice of the 20-something photo frames that were flipped down.

Carefully, as to not disturb whoever was in those photos, she lifted one.

Jessica woke up with a fright, just as all her previous restless nights had been.

She was alone.

On her nightstand was a note.

We can't fall in love. - T

CHAPTER 2

"Maybe she's a spy, like IRIS, ya know?"

"Maybe, she's just some girl you picked up at the bar who had a good time and then saw your horrific apartment and left."

"Maybe you guys need to stop guessing cus it doesn't matter!"

Jessica had explained the happenings of the previous nights to her best friends Taeyeon and Narsha.

She accidentally left out the part about the note, purposely.

"What did she look like? How did you meet her?"

"You went to that bar didn't you? You're still looking for her aren't you?"

"It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. And... guess what? It doesn't matter."

"Look, Jess. You've gotta stop. This whole thing with Yuri passing away and her long lost sister and you looking for her and you drinking away your life, HAS GOT TO STOP."

"She's right Jess. Yuri's gone now and if her sister left home for some reason and wasn't even there for her own sister's funeral, she obviously doesn't want to be found."

"GUYS, stop. This is my problem. YURI WAS MY BEST FRIEND. And if her dying wish was for me to find her sister, I'm going to do it. No matter what."

"Okay, but still you shouldn't be picking up random girls at random bars and taking them home. It could be dangerous ya know? She could've woken up and stolen everything in your house!!"

"Like what... my unused kitchen appliances or my fridge full of nothing?"

Her best friends knew the condition of her apartment. They had tried to come over to clean it but Jessica had just shooed them away.

"Look, she was just a random girl. She was wearing all pink for goodness sake, what harm could she possibly do to me?!"

"Alright, whatever you say. But... next time, try to clean a little before bringing home a one night stand... so that maybe she'll stay longer than breakfast."

"Aish, come on, let's get the check, I gotta go to work."

"JESSICA! You're here! Okay, let's get set up."

Ho Dong was a bald guy with a slightly protruding beer belly was her long time friend and the owner of her studio.

"Okay, so the girl's a little late but we can just set up all the equipment before she gets here."

"Who's the girl?"

"I thought I told you, it's that new, up and coming pop star, Tiffany Hwang? She used to be in a girl's group but this is her first solo album."

"Uh... yeah sure."

Jessica was hired as the photographer for this new solo artist and she was less than pleased.

Unlike her normal clients who loved her normal black and white artistic photo shoots, this client wanted a pink-tastic fantasy land.

"The set looks like Barbie had too much last night and threw up all over it."

"Jessica, come on, she's really a very respected artist and we should be glad she came to us."

"Yeah sure, but where is she?"

"ANNYONGHASEYO, my name is Tiffany and I look forward to working with all of you today!"

Jessica turned to look at this 'very respected solo artist.'

"It's..."

"VERY nice to meet you."

Tiffany interrupted.

"Yeah... sure, very nice to meet you too."

Jessica gave her a once over, so this was the Barbie princess.

"Tiffany as in T, right?"

"Yup."

Jessica could've sworn she saw a sparkle in Tiffany's eyes at the last reply but she just ignored it.

"So let me get this straight, you're saying you SLEPT WITH TIFFANY HWANG LAST NIGHT? How do you not know that you were SLEEPING WITH TIFFANY HWANG when you were... SLEEPING WITH TIFFANY HWANG?"

"..."

"WHAT kind of an idiot are you? Do you LIVE under a rock?!"

"..."

"No really, so she just pretended not to know who you were?"

"Okay, first of all, my line of work doesn't necessarily require me to know the latest up and coming teenage pop idols. Second of all, no I am NOT an idiot and YES I pretty much DO live under a rock. And third, either she didn't remember last night... or I've just been played, like a fool."

Jessica said in one breath.

The shoot had gone rather smoothly so far.

Tiffany listened to Jessica's instructions well and they were at the midway point when Jessica decided to call a break.

She took the time to dial up Taeyeon and explain to her the bizarre coincidence.

"So... you're just gonna leave it at that? Ask for her number or something!"

Jessica thought back to the note she found earlier that morning.

"Noo, I think I'm just gonna leave it at that. Just a one night stand right?"

Jessica replied begrudgingly.

"Sure, if you say so. But from the look in your eyes this morning, I'd say this girl was something special."

Jessica clenched her teeth as she heard a click from the line. Thinking about what Taeyeon had just said, she turned around to resume the shoot.

"Is everything alright?"

She spun around to meet the (in)famous Ms. Hwang in her bright and sparkly eyes.

"Y.. y.. yeah"

Jessica took a deep breath, pushing aside all feelings of butterflies in her stomach.

She put her fluttering heart to rest and continued with the shoot as professionally as she could.

"Alright, well that's a wrap!"

Tiffany went around bowing to every member of the crew.

"Thank you. It was nice working with you."

"Yes, you too."

Jessica said as she walked away without glancing back.

As much as she tried to deny it, she couldn't help but feel the rapid beating of her heart.

"Something special..."

She muttered to herself as she heard Tiffany's heels click-clacking away from her.

That night, Jessica once again found herself sitting at the very same seat as the night before.

Ordering the same drink from the same bartender.

She had just finished her second drink when she heard a raspy voice.

"Jack, on the rocks."

Jessica lifted her head to find a very familiar brunette also sitting at the very same seat as the night before.

"So, who are you... really."

Tiffany got up from her seat and sat next to Jessica.

"I guess the way you do things is introductions after everything else huh?"

"Jung, Jessica Jung. Nice to meet you."

She stuck out her hand which was then met with another hand.

"Hwang, Tiffany Hwang. Nice to meet you too."

Both girls pulled back abruptly upon feeling a spark as their hands touched.

Next thing they knew, their lips were crashing against each others, creating a chemistry that even Aphrodite would approve of.

"We shouldn't be doing this."

Tiffany muttered against the other's soft lips as she was pushed against Jessica's front door.

"Oh, but we are..."

"I can't...not."

"Then don't."

Jessica finally ended their once again abrupt conversation with a melt-to-the-ground, one-leg-lifted, hands-in-hair kiss that put to rest all of Tiffany's unsure thoughts.

They ended up in Jessica's bedroom for the second time that week.

This time, sleep didn't come so easily for the weary girls.

"Who was she?"

".......you looked at the pictures."

"She's beautiful."

"She was."

Tiffany understood as she gently placed a stolen kiss on Jessica's nose.

"What did your note mean?"

"It meant exactly what it said."

Jessica moved up, hovering herself over the other girl's face.

"We."

Tiffany said as Jessica kissed her left cheek.

"Can't."

Jessica kissed her right cheek.

"Fall."

Jessica kissed her forehead.

"In."

Jessica kissed her nose.

"L-."

Jessica finally kissed her lips, shutting her up.

And that was that.

The next morning, Tiffany woke up to a tangle of arms and legs, and that's when she decided to stay.

For good.

CHAPTER 3

"So... you slept with her again?"

"Yup."

"And you like her..?"

Jessica thought for a second.

Like?

Sure.

"Yup."

"So you guys are dating...?

"Nope."

"So Ms. Tiffany Hwang... is your hook-up buddy."

"Well... let's not put it that way."

"What?"

"I'm not just hooking-up with her."

"Uh, yes you are.."

"Let's just say that... when she's around, I feel like there's nothing wrong in the world. Like I can be happy again. And Yuri and her sister, like I'm not

lost anymore. I feel... alive."

With that, Taeyeon pondered hard before speaking again.

"You're in love, huh?"

"Nope. I don't want to fall in love. I can't fall in love."

"I can see it, no... I can feel it."

"No, if it was love... I would see it, I mean, feel it. Whatever.. you know what I mean."

"Look, don't stop yourself from falling for someone because of Yuri."

"I'm not. I didn't fall. I'm just.. GAHHH"

"Okay, whatever you say missy."

"Hey teeny-bopper pop IDOL."

"Hey brooding photographer."

"I don't brood. It's my natural face."

"I know... and it's so cute"

"Hmph.."

Tiffany giggled as this was an ongoing joke between the two girls.

For the 8 months that they've been in this "thing", Jessica would tease Tiffany about her idol ways and Tiffany would tease Jessica about her cold

demeanor.

Jessica turned her back, feigning anger as Tiffany poked at her sides.

"Ya know, one day... you're not gonna have me around to call you an ice princess anymore."

"When's that gonna be? When you decide to go on a WORLD TOUR of PINKLICIOUSNESS?"

"HEY! It's not funny that I love pink, it's something I can't help!"

"I know... and it's so cute."

"Hmph..."

This time Tiffany turned her back as Jessica wrapped her arms around either side of her body.

Placing gentle kisses on Tiffany's neck and shoulder, Jessica finally turned her around and placed both hands on Tiffany's cheeks.

"I don't want you..."

"To ever not be around?"

"And..."

"I know Jessie, I know."

"..."

"I'll be around, I'll always be around to dust your couch, to fill your fridge, to clean your bathroom, to make your bed, to wake you up for work, to give

you a massag-"

With that, Jessica caught Tiffany's lips with her own and drowned her in a deep kiss.

As always, they found themselves resting in each other arms in Jessica's bedroom.

The silence was comfortable.

Both girls' breathing had synchronized into a rhythmic beat as their fingers traced circles on damp skin.

Tiffany finally broke the silence with a pleading voice.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"What was she like...?"

"Who?"

"You know... the girl? In the pictures?"

Jessica sighed as she knew this was bound to come up one day.

"She was... beautiful, caring, gentle, funny, kind."

"And you?"

"Me?"

"You were in love?"

Jessica couldn't answer. It was a question she had been grappling to answer herself since the death.

Instead, she just gently kissed Tiffany.

"What was your sister like?"

"She was ... well I don't know. I didn't really know her that well."

"Why's that?"

Tiffany couldn't answer.

Instead, she just kissed Jessica.

That was how their relationship worked.

Whenever they couldn't talk about something, they turned to physical means of communication.

I miss you was translated through a long embrace.

I need you was translated though a rough kiss.

And I love you? Well, they weren't in love.

Right?

"You know, this relationship you have with Tiffany is VERY unhealthy."

"I know."

"And you know, from the look in your eyes, I think you're in love."

"..."

"And you just won't admit it because you're still searching for this long lost sister of Yuri's and waiting. Waiting for some miraculous sign to fall in love."

"No."

"Yes, and you deny all feelings for anything and anyone. Even when this amazing girl is in front of you."

"No, you don't understand!"

"No, I DO. And YOU ARE WASTING SO MUCH TIME. HAS IT EVER OCCURRED TO YOU THAT MAYBE THIS SISTER OF YURI'S DOESN'T WANT TO BE

FOUND? JESSICA, Yuri's dead. Her sister is gone. Just give up. Give yourself to Tiffany. She doesn't deserve this."

"NO, SHE, no TIFFANY doesn't want me to fall in love. She won't let me. For some reason. And it works OK? I'm fine. She's fine. She doesn't WANT me to

love her. And I, I am going to find Yuri's sister. Look, I hired a private investigator. Yesterday he told me that Yuri's sister's in America. I bought a plane ticket. I'm leaving tomorrow."

Narsha sighed in frustration.

"Jess, go. Go find her but if you can't. Come back and give Tiffany a chance. You can't keep going on like this."

"Okay."

CHAPTER 4

"Hey there."

Tiffany ran up to Jessica, engulfing her in a hug.

"Hi stranger."

Jessica smiled into a melting kiss.

"I was waiting for you..."

"I know. I just had to do something."

"So what's this dinner for? Special occasion? Wait no, let me guess, our 1 year anniversary?"

"Nope, just because."

" You. Are. Amazing."

"I know."

Tiffany grinned into her usual eye-smile as Jessica set the table for their special dinner.

"How was work?"

"Same old, shooting beautiful people doing beautiful things. You?

"Same old, sing, dance, practice and then do it again. I missed you though."

"I always miss you."

"You are just a ball of cheese, Miss Jung."

"I'd rather be a ball of cheese than a ball of PINK."

Tiffany rolled her eyes.

"You know I practically live here now."

"Yup."

"You're just so spoiled, you don't even know that you're dating a world-famous SUPA-STARRRRR."

"Yup."

"Jessie..."

"Yes?"

"Come here."

Tiffany pulled her away from the kitchen counter and pushed her against the wall, engulfing her in a kiss.

"Hey, super-star..."

"Yes?"

Those three words were dripping off Jessica's tongue. But she couldn't bring herself to say it.

"I..."

"Shh, let's just be together, right now."

Tiffany knew what Jessica wanted to say. But she couldn't bring herself to hear it.

Pushing herself off the blonde, Tiffany proceeded to help Jessica set the table.

"Have you ever been in love before?"

Jessica asked out of curiousity.

"Nope. Why?"

"Then why are you so scared of it?"

"I'm not. I'm scared of you."

"..."

"I'm scared of what you do to my heart."

"..."

"Have you ever been in love before?"

"I don't think so."

"Then what are you so scared of?"

"Tiffany, I'm not scared. I just... I just need to do something. That's actually why I wanted to have dinner with you today. I'm leaving tomorrow. I'm going to America to find something, someone. And I don't know when I'll be back. But when I do come back, I need you. To be here. For me. To love you."

Jessica didn't need to hear a response. She understood when Tiffany placed both hands on her cheeks and pulled her into a soft kiss.

Deepening the kiss, Jessica savored every single thing about the other girl.

Her scent.

Her taste.

Her touch.

Devouring the other girl, Jessica reached over the table and pulled Tiffany closer.

Pretty soon, both girls were leaning over the wooden table, unable to take their lips off of each other.

With one swipe, Jessica cleared the table with one arm while pulling Tiffany onto the bare surface with the other.

Sounds of shattering glass resounded but neither girl relented from their kiss.

Jessica hovered over Tiffany and stared into Tiffany's loving gaze.

Tiffany's eyes flickered as she bit her lip and pulled her girlfriend in for another kiss.

As Tiffany's right hand caressed her girlfriend's face, her left hand was inching up Jessica's inner thigh, under her dress.

Before they got carried away, Jessica pushed herself off the table with Tiffany's legs snaked around her waist and arms hooked around her neck.

Never letting go of each other's lips, Jessica carried Tiffany into her bedroom and threw her onto the bed.

As Jessica drifted to sleep that night, she heard a soft whisper from the girl in her arms.

"I'm sorry."

Neither girl slept that night as they lay in each other's embrace.

Not a word was spoken.

Not a glance was exchanged.

Sounds of sniffling could be heard from outside the bedroom.

Both knew that their whirl wind romance was coming to an abrupt halt.

CHAPTER 5

Jessica sat in her spacious 1st class seat waiting impatiently for departure.

"What if I don't find her?"

She whispered to herself.

Her fingers traced over a worn photograph of two little girls.

She had looked at this picture over a thousand times.

Flipping it back and forth.

Looking at the innocent smiles on both girls' faces.

Turning the photo over, she mouthed the words written on the back for the umpteenth time.

"Fall in love."

FLASHBACK:

"Yuri, I am not letting this happen."

"Jessica, listen to me, its happening."

"WHY?"

"No one can control me getting sick... Please, Jess, don't cry."

Jessica couldn't hold back her tears.

She was visiting her best friend, her best friend who was in the last stage of leukemia.

"Jess, I've never asked anything of you but I need you to do two things for me after I leave."

"No... NO! YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!"

"Jessie, please... please listen."

Yuri cried as she put a small photograph into Jessica's shaking hands.

It was a picture of two little girls, arms around each other, ice cream smothered on the sides of their lips.

"That's me... and my sister."

"You have a sister?"

"She left home when I was very young and I've never seen or talked to her again. Find her."

"No, why isn't she HERE? DOESN'T SHE KNOW THAT YOU'RE DYING?"

"Jessie, please... she's very busy. I forgive her, I've always forgiven her. Please don't be angry. Just find her. Find her and be happy. Just be happy. Promise me that. Promise me."

Yuri's breathing was now labored as she spoke in haste.

Jessica turned over the photograph. In simple print, Yuri had written.

"Fall in love."

"Yuri, Yuri... I can't do this. I love you."

By then, Yuri had already passed. She never heard those words come out of Jessica's mouth.

END FLASHBACK

"I have to do this. I must find her sister then I can really fall in love with Tiff."

Jessica said to herself as the plane lifted off the ground.

"Ms. Hwang! Ms. Hwang! You're late! Come on, we need to go. NOW!"

Tiffany was locked inside her bathroom.

She was in a pool of tissues, eyes swollen and nose sniffling.

She had never answered Jessica's request to wait for her.

But both girls knew the truth.

The truth was in the form of two tear-soaked pillows the next morning as Tiffany bid farewell to Jessica.

She didn't know what Jessica had gone to America to look for but she knew she couldn't be with her when she came back.

In her hands, she held the only photograph she had of her deceased sister.

One that she received with a handwritten letter from her sister notifying her of her impending death.

And before she knew it, it was too late.

Too late for apologies.

Too late to go back.

Too late to cry.

Jessica lived from hotel room to hotel room in America for 3 months.

There was no girl named Stephanie.

No girl with hair like Yuri's.

No girl with a smile as bright as Yuri's.

Giving up, she boarded a flight for Korea.

She came back only to find a dusty couch, an untouched kitchen, an empty fridge, and once again, a broken heart in a room of flipped down picture frames.

Tiffany didn't wait.

Jessica had already expected this.

Tiffany was back to living her life, as a solo artist with much critical acclaim.

Jessica was to go back to living her life, as a photographer of beautiful people doing beautiful things.

In three months time, Jessica had finally settled down.

She no longer cried over Yuri or her sister or Tiffany with half empty bottles of vodka in her hands.

She never turned on the news in fear of hearing about Tiffany's latest escapades.

"You didn't find her, huh?"

"Nope."

"Are you over it?"

"I guess so."

"Yuri would've wanted that, Jess."

"No, Yuri would've wanted me to find her."

"No, Yuri would've wanted you to be happy."

Jessica left Taeyeon sitting alone in the restaurant, knowing that she was right.

Soon spring had turned to summer and summer turned into fall.

The days were getting colder and the air held a certain feeling of impending snowfall.

"How have you been?"

"Good. You? Your new album is doing well."

"Yeah... how is.. she?"

"Jess? She's alright. She came back from America, had a brief stage of old-Jessica and then Narsha and I staged an intervention and now she's back to normal-Jessica. Plus she got a lot more clients after you."

"That's good."

"So why did you really want to meet me today?"

"There's always been one thing that always bugged me."

"About Jessica?"

"Yeah. Did she find what she was looking for in America?"

"No."

"Um... can I ask, what was she looking for?"

"She, well uh.. how can I explain this?"

"Please... tell me."

"First, can I ask a question?"

"Yes?"

"Why didn't you wait for her?"

"I couldn't let her fall in love with me."

"WHY?"

"She used to date my sister."

"What are you talking about?"

"That girl who died... her ex- girlfriend... the one in all those pictures."

"SHE'S YOUR SISTER?"

"Yeah..."

"Tiffany, there's been a mistake. That's not her ex-girlfriend."

CHAPTER 6

Taeyeon was left alone in the caf?, facing an empty chair that Tiffany once occupied.

As soon as Tiffany finished listening to Taeyeon's explanation of who Yuri was, she grabbed her coat and began running to Jessica's apartment.

Taeyeon, who was now sitting in a pool of sweat and tears, punched in Jessica's speed-dial and practically shouted into the phone.

"JESSICA, JESSICA. PICK UP YOUR PHONE. IM LEAVING YOU THIS MESSAGE VERY VERY URGENTLY. CALL ME BACK. NOW. NOW. N. O. W. TIFFANY. IS. YURI'S. SISTER!"

Tiffany pushed her way through the crowded streets, determined to find Jessica.

A light snow was drifting into place as she ran the 30 some-what blocks to Jessica's apartment.

Her heart was racing as Taeyeon's words repeated themselves in her mind.

"Yuri was Jessica's best friend."

"Yuri gave Jessica a picture, of her and her sister... or well you."

"Yuri told Jessica to find her and to fall in love."

"Jessica's been looking for her for over 3 years."

All these thoughts cluttered Tiffany's head as she continued to run.

Jessica had her headphones plugged, unaware of the outside world, as she was cleaning her now very dusty room.

In an effort to move on from the past, she had finally began flipping up the pictures of her and Yuri which occupied all of the desks and drawers in her room.

Her thoughts of Yuri, Stephanie and Tiffany were interrupted when she heard a loud banging from her front door.

"Who is it?"

She yelled as she slowly approached.

The knocking was urgent, no furious.

She finally opened the door to find a teary-eyed, sopping wet former flame.

Unable to control her emotions, Jessica fell on her knees upon seeing her love for the first time since her return to Korea.

"Jessie, Jessie."

Tiffany who had just completed a marathon was out of breath and even worse, out of words.

She spent her entire journey thinking of how ridiculously fateful their meeting was, instead of thinking of the right words to say.

"Tiffany."

"It's me, it's me."

Tiffany put her arms around the other girl as the two sat in the middle of the doorway.

When Jessica finally spoke up, she muttered the four words that had been hanging on her heart since her return.

"Why didn't you wait?"

"..."

"Why didn't you wait for me?"

Unable to speak, Tiffany pulled Jessica into a kiss while holding both sides of her face.

She finally let her right hand go and reached into her pocket to pull out the only picture she had of her deceased sister.

Jessica's brows shrouded in confusion.

"What? Why do you have this?"

Tiffany finally spoke up.

"Nice to finally meet you. My name is Tiffany Hwang."

".... I know that."

"But I was born as a Kwon, as a Stephanie Kwon."

Realization hit Jessica faster than a speeding bullet. Her brows no longer showed anger or confusion, they lifted to display a look of utter shock.

Without speaking another word, she lifted Tiffany into her arms and carried her into the apartment, never letting go of her lips.

When their lung capacity finally caught up to their passionate lip-lock, Jessica only said one thing.

"I've been looking for you."

Tiffany pressed her lips gently into Jessica's and smiled into their kiss as they collapsed in each other's arms on the bed.

Taeyeon, worried about both girls, finally made her way to Jessica's apartment.

Unsure of whether or not she should actually go into the apartment, she paced back and forth in front of Jessica's door.

A small gray square on the floor caught her eye.

As she bent down to pick it up, she finally realized that it was actually a high school graduation picture.

Looking closer, she recognized the girl from all of the pictures in Jessica's phone, it was no other than Kwon Yuri herself.

Flipping over the picture, she mouthed the handwritten words to herself as a tear rolled down her cheek.

"Fall in love."

The End
