Nightmare was walking around town in his human form. He looked around admiring everything around him while staring at some people at the same time quite curious and confused the their way of acting and culture

Nightmare stayed quiet seeming to be admiring the young skeleton as he chuckled softly patting his head, "It's okay little one.....", he replied. For some reason he felt something weird towards this kid

Cross stepped back slightly from the grown man that was staying down at at him. His eyes closed when Nightmare went to pet him up opened one of them to see that he wasn't in danger. "Thank qu for mout bewing mad," Cross said happily bed running off again.

He smiled softly as he chuckled watching him run off, "I don't think I would ever get mad at you.....", he muttered to himself as he decided to followed the small skeleton secretly

Another child, a human, pushed past Nightmare without another thought. "Cross get back here before I buripy you six feet under," they screamed angrily at the little skeleton

Nightmare looked at the human skeleton in confusion worried hoping the small skeleton would be okay as he teleported to where he was hiding as he watch carefully

Cross was hiding behind as trash can hoping his brother wouldn't find him seeming more afraid from what the human said. He started crying but silenced himself quickly

Nightmare frown not liking seen the younger skeleton cried as he looked around for the human child who had yelled at the smaller skeleton boy

The human was wandering the streets having lost Cross. He asked people if they saw Cross and one person pointed out where Cross was hiding

Nightmare growled st that person seeming to get protective over the small child as he glared at the human child just waiting in case Cross needs his help

The human ran into the alleyway and scream about hurting Cross brutally. "I'm sorry for taking the marble. You can take it back," Cross cried out puttingbout the hand with the marble to him

Nightmare growled as he stood in front of the dealer skeleton looking down at the small human child, "Don't even hurt him or I'll tell your parents what you were about to do to your brother....", his voice seem dangerous and serous

Cross was shocked by the adult's sudden appearance in front of Cross. "Mom's busy at work and dad could care less old man. And get out of my way," the human growled looking up at the adult hiding his shock.

"You think it gives you the right to abuse your brother even if your parents are busy....", he growled lowly as he picked Cross up gently

"Hey let go of him you p€rv€rt and papa tells me to be rougher with him," The human growled while attempting to pull Cross out of Nightmare's arms. Cross was whimpering when Nightmare picked him up and started to push against him silently

He growled at the human child, "That's still no excuse to hurt your brother and I'm not letting go of him...I know you will hurt him....", he glared slightly as he patted Cross's head gently turning to looked at him, "I won't hurt you....I promise..."

Cross started to shake more uncertain of what Nightmare was planning to do. "Please put me down," he begged with the human kicking Nightmare's knees

Nightmare didn't budge but nodded, "Of he does anything to you just let me know or something.....here....", he handed him a weird like number putting it in his pocket as he set him down

Cross was unnerved from Nightmare's unusual behavior toward him but before he speak Zero screamed. "Leave him alone weirdo," he growled before dragging Cross off

Nightmare walked away as he went into his godlike form once again making so no one could see him as he watch the young skele from far away growling in anger for what Zero was doing

Zero dragged Cross into the forest and started to punch him in the ribs. "Don't you dare tell mom or keep that creeps nimbler," he ordered going to kick Cross's leg. "I don't Zero I won't," he whimpered quietly and looked the human in the eyes

Nightmare growled as he watched from afar what was happening as he glared at the human darkly. He was gonna save that small skeleton child. He wants gonna let his brother hurt him anymore

Zero let go of add once he was bored and walked off leaving Cross on the growled with his body shaking. He was crying heavily and heard his head thump on the ground. "Please Zero don't leave me," Cross called out weakly
