He was born in a raindrop and nurtured in the oceans, till he emerged around the time, the first humans began to pray. Instead of celebrating his creation he keeps a necklace in form of a crystal raindrop very near his heart to never forget his origin.

Personality: Very similar to the element he is able to control, he tends to be cold. His hands are always cold even in the summer, and his face is as beautiful as a frozen lake. Beautiful but ice cold. He isn't evil, nor arrogant, but he holds him back the whole time. He acts polite and calm, rather talks than fights, stays rather secluded than to visit the joyful parties of the gods. You could compare his demeanor to a clear mountain spring. Beautiful, clear, and calm, just happy with skipping over rocks and leaping down the mountain. It's a rare occurrence to see him smile or laugh, but you can often see him with a sorrowful look in his eyes.

Oh and he is a sulky bitch, who can get grumpy very easily and not show it.
But he forgives more than he actually can take, take as example that he is still with his partner.

Likes: He likes playing his guqin. A chinese seven-string music instrument that helps him to concentrate and practise his powers, as well to calm down after a fight with his lover.
The rain, when it falls down it makes him feel elated. Like he shares every raindrop in its mind.
And surprisingly humans, how they toil in their every lifes, somehow making a living, somehow staying alive even in the direst of circumstances.

Dislikes: Noisy people, regardless if they are god or any other creature. Overbearing behaviour as well as annoying crying. He wants respect and he won't stay if he doesn't get any. He is a god, so you should behave like it. He doesn't like to get taken by surprise and hates it even more if he gets pushed down. And his revenge will be quite cruel, despite being a rather forgiving nature.

Background:
Yu Shi is in a relationship with another holy being, which isn't that unusual in the golden palace all gods in heaven live.
They married a long time ago, as they were still completely in love, it was quite cute how Tien Mu wooed the cold natured Yu Shi and how it took them centuries till the tsundere finally gave in. And it was fine for a while, at least Yu Shi thought so.
But his partner was - completely contrary to his profession - hotblooded, enjoying life and volatile. And while Yu Shi loyally loved his partner, Tien Mu cheated. And not once. And not just a little bit, because recently a woman knocked on their door and shoved a boy inside. The child of his partner, produced in a time where they were together. That's when the arguments started, about everything. That was even the cold god of water lost his composure and often ended with one of them going away.

The problem is, Yu Shi is quite forgiving and Tien Mu doesn't want to let him, and probably he will forgive him after a few years.
But now he is now sulking and the raining season is even more heavier than it was last time in China.
