Info (MUST READ)
Your character doesn't remember anything but their name. They woke up at a random time of day (dawn, noon, sunset, or midnight) somewhere on the island that really confuses them. If your character is sci-fi or dystopian, they might wake up in a room with magical objects like broomsticks that sweep the floor by themselves and magic mirrors (that won't answer questions about their past or where all the people are or where they are) and an alchemy lab bound for some kind of disaster, but no spellbooks (even though they'd be in some language only witches and wizards would know, we can't have someone going crazy with the bippity-boppity-booing of all sorts. If any spell based characters turn up, there will be a later chapter for them to discover what spells they don't remember). Also, if your character is medieval (with magic), they will probably end up in some high tech place. If they don't (or should I say didn't) know about magic, they might end up somewhere enchanted or magical. Modern city people might end up in a Western ghost town or enchanted forest (which are also options for the future people) or castle. Werewolves and vampires (who will wake up at sunset or midnight) might end up anywhere they wouldn't be slightly familiar with. Elementals could end up out of their element (pun intended) in a maze or mirror maze (someone please send a vampire in one for giggles) or labyrinth.
As for not remembering anything, this is pretty much amnesia. They will get a headache if they remember something (which has a maximum of once every 50 comments in a chain) and something that happens must trigger it. The fun part? It could be something entirely useless like remembering that they once fell into a campfire (name the roleplay they're from or where the person on the cover is if you can't remember the name for the final pass) or something like finding a saddle and thinking 'oh, I used to ride horses', but not remembering (or not knowing, if they're royalty who would have stable boys to do it for them) how to properly put a saddle or bridle on one or how to act calm around them (or it's so deeply ingrained in their head because they've ridden so much [cowpeople]). The migraine won't last long though (just a few minutes). But they do have a chance of remembering something important. It could be how to hunt or that they're a werewolf or they can shoot a gun or that they have a power. Speaking of the powers, they won't remember how to control them. Especially if they require concentration or are emotionally based. Shifters might get angry or scared and turn into whatever they turn into, but not be able to turn back until they calm down. Eventually, people who don't have powers might end up thinking they do or people start thinking someone who doesn't have a power has a power based on a series of events. The opposite is also true. People with powers might think they don't have powers.
And the outfits. This can be much fun. Armor, swords, dresses, hoodies, high heels, sneakers, boots of all sorts, millions of pockets, knee pads, ankle braces, guns, laser eye implants, anything is possible, but please, no bikinis (unless they're swimming in a pool later on after they wake up) or speedos. They're not going to be dropped off in their underwear. They'll at least have a large burlap sack on. Plus, there are places they can find clothes in the areas they wake up in.
Also, they're not going to starve. There's food. Mostly bread and animals they'd have to kill and filtered water in some places. There's even some in the high tech places if you hit the right buttons and don't go crazy on it trying to get to it. Don't trust the voice control. It stinks.
