Background: Feredir was born as a servant to a nobleman, met his illegitimate daughter, their little secret meeting was found out by her father and he was sent away to another household. Luckily for him, his master was a kind mage and had taught Ferendir many secrets about magic. Not too long after learning all sorts of spells and how to put them to use, Ferendir was made a free elf and ventured off to find Valeria. However, he was shocked to see the entire estate burned to the ground when he arrived. He figured he was too late and that she died in the fire, or was killed by whomever did the raid. He then joined the inquisition once he got word that they required assistance, so he thought he could put his abilities to good use. He, however, did not expect to run into a very familiar face: Valeria.

The two of them talked about where the other was and, sadly, Ferendir learned of Valeria's traumatic experience with the bandits. The two then fell in love, even if it did take him a little longer to realize it, and ventured off together after the inquisition disbanded once the threat was permanently dealt with.
