Backstory; The blood heritage has been around for hundreds of years, living on an island called Calistic, the island of jewels . Each heir is more powerful than the last due to the fact that they kill anyone whose powers strike their interest. They absorb that power and pass it on to the next generation, but there is a special power that an individual in each generation holds and that determines the heir to the throne.
At a young age, Skarlett idolized her father, Gerald Blood, King of Calistic. She would spend almost all of her time with him. They would play games in the garden, go swimming in their private pool, and even made desserts together. One of the few memories she remembered of her and her father was when he would often tell her stories of the pirate crews he was in, being both a captain and crewmate. He would go on and on to her about all the adventures he's had on the sea. She would sit and listen for hours on end. However, her mother, Eliza Blood, held some jealousy for that. Skarlett never wanted to be around her mother because she thought she was boring, which enraged her mother. Her father tried to play it off as "kids will be kids, she will grow out of it." Unfortunately, Skarlett, age 6, lost her father due to an unknown illness. Four years after her father's passing, her mother wasn't the greatest to her and her two older siblings, Adam and Seabastian. The only thing her mother cared for was power and control, and she would get it no matter what. So she put the blood siblings through brutal training and punishment to see who would be "worthy of being a part of the Blood." Skarlett got the worst. Being the youngest of three, she was constantly put down and seen as weak and pathetic because she hadn't shown signs of any power by the age of 8 while her siblings showed it at age 6. Seabastian, her oldest brother, tried to be there for her and help her any way he could, but Skarlett made the decision to run away from home at the age of 10 to join any pirate crew she could like her father did. She wanted adventure, and she craved it.
10 years later, Skarlett has developed her powers and fully understands most of them, but not all. She has joined about 7 different pirate crews, and all of them have betrayed her due to her high bounty and her family name. She is a hunted pirate with a bounty of 75,000,000 berries and on the run from her mother, who has been searching for her after hearing about her and her powers.

Additional Info; When she loses control after using her blood ability, a dark presence that looms over her family's name unleashes and causes her to have a sort of alter ego that is crazy, blood-lust, and has no morals
